     Girls Like Me.

Girls like me are hard to forget. One taste of our love and you crave us forever.
We leave an imprint on everyone we cross paths with, positive or negative.

But god forbid you fall in love with us.

Maybe we aren’t one in a million, but we’re something you’ll be lucky to see again.
We can’t stay long, for we wander and waver. If you’re lucky, maybe we find you again.

Though we are fleeting, our love is not. And that's why you’ll never forget someone like us. We love you forever, but we never stay. You’re always a piece of us, and that's why you can't forget us.

Mick still remembers Marianne, and Eric still remembers Pattie.
No, Paul hasn’t forgotten Jane, just like everyone still remembers Pamela.

Girls like us are like the girls who live forever in song. In art. In poetry, and in stories.

We stay for a while, just to inspire, and then we must go.

We are the artists, and we are the artist’s dream.

And no, though we pretend like we do, we could never forget you, even if we tried.
