The office clerk came over the loud speaker in math class. "Hello may Ethan Nestor come to the front office, he is going home." "Yes! Ethan you herd her goodbye!" "Bye!" I grab my books and leave. This can't be good. Nobody picks me up from school let alone early. I'm not sure why this happening. I get to the office to see my mom. "Hey Ethan!" Her fake voice is sickening. She takes my hand and walks out the door with me, why is this happening? Her hand feels lanky and wrong in mine. When we get out of the door I pull my hand away "What is going on? I've never been let out of school early why now?" "Come with me Ethan." We walk into the parking lot and up to her car. "Take this." She hands me a duffel bag and I open it to see all my stuff.
