Sunghoon p.o.v
"Yah Sunghoon-ah jump higher" my trainer shouts across the rink as I twirl to perform another triple axel
I fell flat on the floor and quickly got up for another triple axel, I still didn't get it the second time. Lying on the cold skating rink I felt like I could be worse
While my trainer skates his way towards me he gave me some water and I gulp it down in one go.
"What happened Sunghoon?" he crouches down to my level as I felt being guilty for my mistakes
"I just -- I can't skate with these, these aren't mine"
He puts down his record book before squatting next to me,
"I know you're uncomfortable but we need this" --,
"I can do it, I know I can.. I just don't feel like I fit into something I don't personally own"
We ended the practice by noon, as I turn from here to there in my bed I can't seem to stop thinking about Jake
I got up walking downstairs to drink some water before seeing my mother walk in with stuffs in her hand, I immediately help her with those not before she stopped and looks me right in my eye
"Gwaenchana? are you sick?" I shook badly like I did something bad while she touches my forehead
"Did you wear thin clothes again in your practice?"
She asked as I opened the fridge to return the water before she grabs some hot packet beside the stove giving it to me.
"What is that?" I asked and she move her things to the counter
"The Park's invited us to dinner, so I thought I should make some Blueberry Cheecake"
The Park's always have the dinner every season, they would invite my family along but I chose to stay always because I'm not really the type wanting to be in a crowd or with people mostly,
Jay understands that.
"Can I come" my mother stopped what she was doing just to make sure she heard me right,
"N-n-neh" she smiled widely giving me a hug before we proceeded to cooking ---
After helping my mom I got upsatirs and start preparing
as I wore my thick jacket I try to examine my figure and posture that I know I don't even have time to check even before
Is this okay? would this be fine?
Waeyo, why am I nervous? It's not like this is a competition
Sunghoon-ah get yourself together
"Oppa?" Haeyon knocks from my door smiling upon seeing me for the first time in a semi formal attire, and this time not competing
I only wore these kinds of clothes when I have a competition,
"Come here" I move closer to her as she fixed my hair, I never really cared much of my hair since it was naturally healthy for me and it would just go different direction when I fixed it so I bothered less to it
"There" after fixing me I look myself in the mirror gaping at how I ravishing I look
I stand proud looking at myself from the mirror, as much as I want to compliment myself I couldn't stop asking if I did this better would everything not change?
Shooking my head, I don't even want to repay what I lack. He did that for his selfishness and not mine
Smiling once again I toughen myself adding some perfume against my nape before getting out. They were already ready waiting for me as they smile seeing me in my new look
We arrived not later than 30min, Jay's mother opened the door and hugged us all. She was even surprised to see me attending for the first time
"I'm sorry my boys took too long to get dress"
We were already seated waiting for the two, I know Jay takes most time to prepare
The latter came down bowing lightly not before getting surprised seeing me beside my sister, I smiled secretly as bend down to my level assessing if it was me or he just teasing me
He thinks he can do what he wants with my sister while I'm away? Not in my jurisdiction boy,
Jay taps my shoulder being proud at what I've become stepping towards a normal behavior
"Jake ppali wa"
Jay shouted from the table as we heard a little bump from upstairs,
"I'm glad Sunghoon can join us, this is also Jake's first time eating with you" I bowed at Mrs. Park's remarks before another breathtakingly handsome guy joined us
Upon stepping down, he was shock to see me as well. Jay must have told him I don;t really join things like this
I smiled being flustered, I bowed lightly to him as he sat across me.
Jake p.o.v
"Jakeyy wake-up ~" I groan slapping Jay's hand against my face
When will this idiot leave me alone
"Come on dude we need to pick shirts for the dinner later"
What? Dinner? what dinner?
I ignored his remark just so he can leave but this pabo nincompoop wouldn't stop
"My sources say Sunghoon would come this time"
By the mention of his name I jolt up not caring if my hair was bit disheveled,
The latter smiled seeing his plan was working, that morning we both head out to a salon to get our hair done, while he had his hair black I did a golden brown
Jay is more like a fashion icon himself, I don't really care about what I wear. I just want to be comfortable
"Jake try this" I look down not agreeing at his choices
"Ani, I want to wear my own clothes" I complained
In the end, we really didn't choose one for me but for him. For all I know he just wants to impressed Sunghoon's sister
As time passes by I was getting jittery pacing back and forth from my room, I kept checking my face and my hair
This is so messed up, I can't even stop thinking about what I should do when I meet him
When we heard the doorbell rang, I jumped up in surprised hearing Jay's room as if he is in trouble. I sigh hardly waiting for his mother to call us. Before Jay got down he knocks on my door and I checked myself up on the mirror for the last time before going down
Everyone was just waiting for me, I feel like I'm a debutant.
Real classy Jake
I sighed heavily trying to contain my anxiousness. I slowly walk downstairs immediately looking at the fairest guy in the room, we lock eyes for a minute before I pulled one chair across him and sat down,
We look at each other again for a minute before I broke it off being unsettled, I might have seen Sunghoon smiling secretly at the end and I start fanning myself to prevent from smiling too hard.
After dinner, we went out for a dessert in the garden. As Jay serves the last plate to Sunghoon's sister, he bats his eyes at her and they were just like looking at each other like crazy persons, Sunghoon nudges his sister before glaring at the latter.
I excuse myself and decided to clean the table for now, since Jay doesn't own the word cleaning in his vocabulary,
"Can I help?" making me surprised Sunghoon didn't think twice of my answer, he reached for the closest washing gloves from the kitchen and started washing the dishes
"Omo Sunghoon-ah you don't need to do that, Jake can manage" my mother entered as the latter smiled in defense nad explained his side
"Ani, I always do this at home, it's okay"
My mother can only admire the young fella' clasping her hand together
"I'm so glad Jake have you as a friend," she said before taking out another bottle of champagne
I glance at him while he flashes his smile before I look down again, I can't even look straight at him
He seemed amused at me as I heard him chuckled at my moronic actions, I placed the stacks of plates beside him as I reached for another pair of washing gloves
"Are you always this nervous around me?" he asked making me look at him again but this time I was quite taken back by what he asked
"Uhm.. ani ---" I slap myself mentally, as much as I wanted to talk much I just couldn't utter another word
"Kyeopta" he muttered softly but I heard it right
He said I'm cute?! Oh my God!
JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL! MY FEELS ITS ABOUT TO EXPLODE!!!
"I'm done with these you can just arrange them" I wiped my hands down before accepting the plates from him
By the sudden contact of our hands, we both stopped and looks at each other in unison being surprised
LOVE IS AN OPEN DOOOOOOR ~~~~
I CAN FEEL MY CHEEKS BURN, DAMN! COOL UR TITS BOI !!!
"Yo! I need two plates!" Jay shouted before coming
We both broke our contact before I walked out of the room towards the table as Jay stopped, seeing as if he just broke a perfect romance scenario
I will kill this dude in his sleep seriously, I will shove him in our washing machine and let him crumbled to pieces
"Ohh I uh -- was I interrupting?"
I gave my most vivid expression that sums up everything I feel after he interrupted us,
"Okay so uh -- I'll grab these and just go"
Rolling my eyes at him, I started cleaning the plates pilling them cleanly.
By a minute Sunghoon arrived with more plates in his hands, he seemed to want to help me so I offered him a clean cloth,
"Since when did you start skating?" he looks at me smiling, seeing I was trying my best to make the situation less awkward
"When I was 9, my grandfather taught me until I grew out of it......."
I was having fun listening to him while I stack up more plates, bending down to pick up the towel I dropped I see Sunghoon so close to me that startled my whole body; dropping the plate on the floor
The people from outside seemed shock at the sudden sound rushing inside
"Omma it's fine we can take care of this" I reassure the adults and they continued chatting
Sunghoon looked concerned at me before I got down to pick up the pieces
"Wait, stop Jak ---"
"Ow! aish" I winced in pain before he bent down to see blood gushing out from my finger
Sunghoon rushed to get the medical kit as I sat in one of the chairs
"Come here"
This is the second time in one day we had our kinship, as he was busy treating my hand. I too was busy looking at him.
I MEAN JUST LOOK AT HIM.. DAMN WHO WOULND'T FALL FOR THAT KIND OF FACE

"There" I snapped from my daze when looking as if focused on my cut
He snickered at me, fck. I am caught in the act
"Sunghoon-ah let's go" He nodded at his mother before we both stand up,
We all lead them to the door and Sunghoon was the last person who bid me goodbye, while my family went it again we had our last conversation for the night
"You sure you're fine?"
I nodded trying to conceal a creepy smile.
"Good cause I don't want you hurt"

He walks the last step before waving me goodbye
I wave back feeling shy but I still did it.
Closing the door, my smile turned into horror seeing Jay stand behind trying to laugh his ass off
"Dude, did you see yourself lately? You look like shit" he continued teasing and laughing before I nudged him and rush to my room for an alone time
