he was laughing , they wasn't lying about terrible 2s Christian jumped out the tub and wet up the whole floor
I took him back into the tub and finished washing him and his hair , idk how he can run that fast at 2 my baby gonna be a track star

i finished bathing him and put on his clothes , just a little hoodie , sweatpants and his sneakers
we was matching just a bit , we got in the car and drove to the hospital , Kasim has been in a coma for 2 years straight we had little scares but he's okay , he's getting better slowly
we arrived and was greeted by Dr.Montovlo , "you're getting so bigg chris" he said bending down and giving christian a high five
we went to Kasim room , they took the breathing tubes and stuff off of him , since he started to breathe on his own
"Nali , may i speak to you in private" he said

"there is some function neurologically , he's able to hear you now of course he can't talk back but he can hear what your saying and his surgeries have been going amazingly , we still don't know if he may wake or even when , so this is good process so far ... just wanted to keep you updated" he said

as i walked in i heard Christian trying to talk to Kasim just talking about literally anything in the book , he's such a funny kid i love christian as if he were my very own
"baby let me talk to daddy , go with Dr.Montovlo to the vending machine and then he's gonna take you to where the kids play ok ? " i said giving him $2
he nodded and walked out with Dr.Montovlo

what a weekend ... i got up and it was basically midday but lord i was exhausted, i stretched and got up i was naked and well i did have some fun last night
"good morning" i heard this girl i had sex with last night say

I just sighed , Kasim shooting really made a complete 360 for Nali and her life
It feels as if she's a whole different person , she's a mother to Christian , she runs the drug shit for Kasim ... oops only part time as she told me as if it's fucking Mcdonalds or something , she's gotten so mean it's like she's just gone
she's been like this for 2 years straight now , i hope she's not like this forever this isn't her
I made it to the hospital and I said hello to everyone and I clocked in
"okay , Kaliah you already know who's first , Ms.Travis in room 208 , what a sweet old lady her granddaughter brought in cookies for us today , examine her breasts and just keep her company the breast cancer is slowly killing her she just needs a friend , i want you to tell her granddaughter the news when she returns back from the bathroom" Dr.Montovlo said

I took a deep breath and walking in , "Hi Ms.Travis , how are you feeling today ?" i said getting ready to change her bed pan and take some blood
"weak , old , but im not gonna let my cancer bring me down , the cookies are on the table behind you" she said smiling and pointing behind me
I grabbed a cookie , "mhm these are good" i said taking a bite and setting it down , i put on my gloves and started to take blood
"chile , i don't know why y'all continue to run all these exhausting tests , i know i am dying just stop" she said

"no buts , when Dr.Montovlo gets back i will let him know i am ready to get out of this hospital and spend whatever time he says I have left exploring life" she said

I love how happy and free spirited she is even under the circumstances she's in
"Oh Hi" Ms.Travis granddaughter said walking in
"hi , just the person i was looking for may you please have a seat" I said
she sat down , "okay Ms.Travis" i started
"just call me Andrea , Ms.Travis is over there" she said
"okay , well the cancer has spread and it's killing your grandmother slowly , she doesn't have much time , she has about 6 months to a year according to her chart , it'd be best to focus on the time you have left with your grandmother" i said
her face went completely blank and she started crying , "i am so sorry , we've done everything we can" i said
"EVERYTHING YOU CAN ? MY GRANDMA HAS 6 MONTHS TO A FUCKING YEAR LEFT" she yelled
"ah andy , relax im okay , i've accepted it , yelling isn't going to snap my cancer away , if it did i wouldn't yelled a long time ago , let's get out of here" Ms.Travis said
"okay grandma" Andrea said wiping her tears and walking out to get discharge papers
"im sorry about that" Ms.Travis said , "it's totally fine , im sorry .. i hope you do everything you ever dreamed on doing" i said

i smiled and just sat with her and talked and appreciated the time I had with her left and hoped to see her outside of the hospital
