'Lets go' Minho says picking up his car keys.
'I have to report to main office on Fridays.' Meera replies pulling her suitcase.
'Oh this is goodbye then.' Minho says hesitant.
'Yeah if we don't run into each other often at SM this is it.' Meera replies.
'Okay. I am leaving first.' Minho nods as he closes the main door.
'This was a stupid Idea, I came out of the house, but I need not go for practice till evening. Can't she understand I meant to drop her' Minho thinks and he finally decides to go in.
'Hey... your office is anyway on the way-' Minho says barging in.
'You scared me' Meera replies shocked as she was about to place something on the table.
'What's that?' Minho asks suspicious.
'You are ruining my present.' Meera sighs
'You prepared a present?' Minho asks surprised.
'Its not much, but I thought you might like it. Don't open it now.' Meera says finally placing it on the table.
'I was just thinking, I can drop on my way.' Minho suggests.
'Thanks, I will take it as your final favor' Meera says pulling her suitcase.
Minho helps her with the luggage and they both get in the car. 'Here I used it well.' Meera says pulling out his power bank and placing it on the dashboard. 'You can keep it.' Minho replies. 'No its alright. I got a new one.' Meera answers. 'Did you pack everything well? Didn't miss out anything?' Minho asked concentrating on the drive. 'No, I have saved you all troubles, I cleaned my room too.' Meera replies.

He opened the gift wrap, to find a book with a note. Into the wild by Jon Krakauer Minho pulled open the transparent cover and started reading the note.

A smile appeared on his lips as he finished the note. He went into Meera's bedroom and looked around. 'She wasn't lying' Minho thought as he scanned the room. Everything was as it was before. He locked it and settled in front of his fish pot. 'Hey, she left' Minho said lying his head beside. 'Aren't you lonely, when no one is home?' He continues touching the pot with his finger as the fish moved. 'Are you hungry?. I will get your food.' Minho gets up determined as he searches for the fish food can.

At evening, Minho wakes up and goes for his practice. After a while, all the members settle down to have dinner which they ordered. Minho looks out the window as the rain was pouring heavily. 'Should I text her if she settled well in the new apartment ' He thinks as he pulls out his phone. 'Maybe I shouldn't I will ask her on Monday' he continues but Minho's phone starts ringing and he casually picks it up looking at the caller ID.
'Minho shi...' Meera sobbed as he picked up the call. 'Hey, what's wrong? Why is your voice like that?' Minho asks worried getting up leaving the others surprised. 'I think, I got scammed.' Meera replies. 'What? Where are you? Do you have people around?' Minho asks as he gets out of his practice room. 'Not many, its raining so much' Meera replies looking around. 'Do you have a convenience store around?' Minho enquires as he reaches his parking. 'Yes XX one.' Meera replies continuing to sob. 'Meera go wait there-, hello can you hear me?' Minho checks his phone as the call gets disconnected, he tries calling it again but it says switched off.
'Yaaa, why don't you charge your phone.' Minho yells as he finally finds Meera after forty five minutes. She shows him her broken phone which fell down as they were talking. Minho tucks the suitcase in the trunk as Meera gets in the car. 'I searched all XX convenience stores in the area, you seriously test my patience. Do you even know this area has XX stores in every street.' Minho complains. 'I dropped my phone, I was about to send you the location.' Meera defends herself.
'Leave it now. Shouldn't you have gone in and waited, look how soaked you are' Minho says pointing to the convenience store opposite to them. 'What if you couldn't find me?' Meera asks looking up as she wiped her wet face. ' I found you didn't I. You seriously doubt my capabilities.' Minho says starting the car.
The ride back was very silent as Minho did not want to disturb an exhausted Meera. Meanwhile Onew texts him enquiring if everything was alright and why he left suddenly. Minho replies back saying everything was fine now and he would explain it later. They both come back home and Minho asks her to go take a hot shower. Meera quickly changes and comes out wiping her wet hair.
'Come have soup' Minho points out to the kitchen island. 'I am sorry. You must have thought I was gone for good.' Meera apologizes. 'Ayy, no why would you think like that.' Minho says putting a spoon in the bowl. 'I can't believe I got fooled.' Meera said massaging her head. 'I wanted to scold you then, but it looked like you might cry' Minho says sitting beside her. 'I'll go file a report, that cheater' Meera fumes. 'That won't help, he must have done that too so many people and escaped. Did you pay the rent too?' Minho questions as Meera has her soup. 'Yeah, deposit and four months rent.' Meera informs hesitantly.
'Yaa, yaa who does that without verifying with the agency.' Minho facepalms. ' I have no savings left.' Meera replies fighting back tears. 'Meera, I am not scolding. Next time, be careful okay.' Minho says patting her shoulder. 'I already told everyone, I found a flat. I even told your family. For sure they will laugh at this.' Meera worries. 'Anyone would laugh, but we won't let anyone know okay?' Minho assures. 'Thank you' Meera finally smiles.
'Now finish it, I don't want a sick person around me' Minho says gesturing the soup. 'Can we order chicken, they don't do single servings' Meera giggles as Minho narrows his eyes.

'Helloo, I missed you' Meera said running towards the fish pot. 'Minho shi, it isn't moving.' Meera screamed and Minho came running. 'Hey, what's wrong with it?' Minho looks as the fish floats on water. 'Did you overfeed it?' Meera asks curious looking at the food box. 'In the afternoon, I did.' Minho replies shaking the pot a little. 'I fed it before I left today. Its dead...' Meera starts crying. 'How would I know, you fed it before.' Minho sighs.
They wrap it in a paper bag and bury it in the community garden. 'I did not know you were this sensitive. As an owner even I am not crying that much.' Minho says as they come back home. 'I grew attached because, it was just it and me, while you were not back.' Meera answers as she continues crying. 'Today was one dramatic long day. Go to sleep you must be exhausted.' Minho says patting her cheek dry.

'Why do you have that sad face. Its killing my mood.' Minho says as he comes out his room the next day. 'I feel so bad, I should have not fed it.' Meera replies. 'So you wanted to starve it?' Minho jokes. 'Hey, so bad you are.' Meera sighs. 'It ate to its full content. I don't see what else would be a happier way to die' Minho continues. 'What a twisted logic. Why are we laughing at such a thing.' Meera giggles as he explains.
'Fine, since its weekend lets go out. It can lighten our mood.' Minho suggests. 'Where do you want to go?' Meera asks. 'What about Jeju?' Minho asks hopefully. 'Yess, nice lets go.' Meera replies clapping.
