Mia's P.O.V.:-
He moved away from me his form nervous, fidgeting with his fingers he waited for my answer.
"Yes" I whispered, his eyes widened in surprise.
"What?" he questioned not quite believing his ears.
"I said I'll go on a date with you" his eyes lit up, while letting out a audible yes.
I don't know what the red string of fate has decided for us that is something to be unravelled, but one thing I know that the undeniable happiness which is reflecting on his face is worth every hardship and suffering we might face, that too we face it together.
"Thank you so much for giving us a chance, I promise I'll try to make this work " embracing me in his arms, he whispered.
"Not just you, it goes both way then only it works, right" I interjected while his face contoured in admiration. Cause this is our home, and homes are not built alone it is nurtured with love and respect from those living in it.
"So are you free tonight?" he asks being hopeful, while I wince remembering my schedule.
"Uhm.. actually I promised Hannah we would go on dress shopping, I am so sorry" I state in a dejected tone.
"Mia, you don't need to apologise. They are your friends and I understand you need to give them time too. We can schedule our date on saturday as far as I know I have not much engagements on that day, if you are free of course" his tone was understanding through out, were was he all my life.
I could kiss him right now.
"What is stopping you then?" cocking an eyebrow he smirks while trapping me once again.
I pull him down by his tie, his eyes visibly darkens "Have patience Mr King, atleast let the date be over" I whisper in his ear, though there was a bit disappointment he was more amused.
"Your wish is my command, my lady" he kisses my hand while bowing for the dramatic effect, chuckling quietly to ourselves.
"Now that everything is cleared, so the story about you kissing Caelum" I teased him trying to hide my smile, as his jaw dropped and cheeks flushed.
"I think we are getting late, we should go" I laugh as he tries to run away.
"And he was the one kissing me not the other way" by now I had tears in my eyes as I watched him swiftly run through the door.
As I leave my building, I see Aiden standing there against a black rolls royce and honestly it looked like a commercial shoot, both drool worthy car and model.
He removes his shades as I walk towards him, "Trying to impress me King" I smirk as he leans against the car.
"I don't know maybe I am, maybe I am not" he plays along while I giggle.
"Okay fine, jokes apart we are already late. I'll meet you at the office" before I could move Aiden caught my wrist, questioning hazel met confident blue.
"Mia you do know that we are going to same place, we could go together. I know I won't be able to see you today, so I want to take any chance I get" sheesh when did he became so cheesy.
"And don't worry I can make time and drop you off afterwards to Hannah" huh he had it all figured it seems.
"And besides, we can also save the environment as someone told me once." there is a playful glint in his eyes.
"Well I think it would be foolish not to listen to such smart person" he chuckles while shaking his head, we get in the car while I greet Alan who is unsurprisingly present as well.
Aiden was going to say something when his phone rang, letting out an annoyed sigh he looked apologetic .
"Its fine, we can talk later" he picked up his call and it seemed like his personality did a 180 flip as he answered in a cold voice while his entire demeanour void of any emotion.
I felt sorry for the fellow on other end, zoning him out I admired the car interiors. I felt a hand in mine while I was busy staring at the cockpit, I looked up to Aiden who busy on his call I smiled as I felt him interlace our fingers unknowingly. The warmth he brings came rushing back to me like a wave at the seashore washing your feet, washing away all your stress and worries.
"Sir, maam we have reached" Alan informs, pulling me out of my thoughts well that was fast.
"So I'll see you the evening then, have a good day darling" he stressed on the last part.
"Darling huh" I teased while he smirked.
"What you don't like it?" pulling me close to him.
"I didn't deny it did I, I'll see you then" before I can move he presses his lips against my forehead while I stand there relishing in the feeling, neither of us not caring that we were standing right in front of his office where people could notice us.
How could I, when this man infront of me was treating me as if I was the most precious thing in this world, his delicate caress, his little gestures were making me crazy for him.
Finally letting me go, did he notice the surrounding but that didn't affect him while I was becoming flustered with every increasing moment.
"O-okay, bye" squeaking I rushed towards the office, man being in his presence is enough for my brain to stop functioning.
Entering my office I notice the pile of files on my desk, hmm I require coffee for my brain to kick start.
"Rachel, can you please get me a coffee and ask Jessica to give me the financial reports I had asked to complete" I ask my assistant, who gives me the schedule for the day.
"On it, anything else boss" she replied.
"No that is enough for now" I state while she takes her leave.
Reports, approval, budgets soon I was engrossed in my work when a knock on the door pulled me out.
"Here is your coffee, and the file you asked" handing me the file she places the coffee on the table.
"Damn, you make amazing coffee Rachel" I complement her while sipping the best drink ever made.
"Thanks, and if you don't mind me can I ask a question?" she asks.
"Hmm, go on" I nod at her, reading on the report which needed to be worked on.
"You seem quite cheerful as the mornings make you cranky without coffee, anything happened to brighten your mood" as soon as she asks my mind replays this morning when Aiden confessed his feelings to me and I said yes for a date.
"Someone special perhaps" she wiggles her eyebrows while her eyes lit up.
"Don't you have work to do" I dodge the question as she chuckles at my reply.
"Okay, fine I know when I am not needed" she leaves while I gawk at her figure retreating figure, am I really that bad at pretending.
I didn't even knew how much time had passed as I corrected the report, someone cleared their throat when I looked up.
It was none another than Aiden leaning against the door in all his glory while a amused look adorned his face.
"Since when you have been standing there"he walks in my office as if owning the place, well he does own it. Eyeing the mess on desk in disdain he tries to ignore, while I quickly clear it off as much as I can atleast.
"Well it might have been 5 mins, I don't know whether to be impressed or terrified that you were so engrossed in the work you didn't even notice me" looking at me he gives a conflicted expression.
"There is no need to be terrified Aiden, no one is going to come in here without my permission" wait that reminds me why didn't Rachel inform me.
"If you are thinking why didn't your assistant inform you, uh it seemed she was stupified to see me down here" he answers my unasked question.
Taking my coat Aiden leads me out of my office, were I see Rachel you was seating there in a daze.
"Rachel, Rachel" I wave my hand in front of her eyes while she was focused on Aiden's figure.
"Huh what" finally she comes out of her daze.
"Damn I can believe I am really seeing Aiden King in the flesh" well I can't blame her I was speechless when I saw him the first time well given I was shouting the very next moment, but I am aware that is just how he affects people.
"Rachel, I am done for the day you can also leave if you are done." she nods as she continues to stare at Aiden okay I am getting irked by her behavior.
"Wait, you and him together-" I take his hand and leave before she could complete her sentence.
"You know it is annoying that people stare at you even when I am talking" I grumble.
"Wait, are you jealous" his eyes held mischief while an annoying smirk is plastered across his face.
"Pff me jealous, are kidding?" I was irritated, I know that he commanded attention without even asking but I wasn't jealous why would I even be.
"Okay if you say so" he was still grinning like an idiot.
"You know even if people are gawking at me, you are the one demanding my attention without even asking for it" he that made me smile, he sure had a way with words. And there goes my heart having another arrest, I think I might just die early because of his sweet talk and gestures.
We made our way towards the parking lot while making a small conversation.
Aiden opens the door for me as I slide in the car, "Thanks"
"Were to sir?" Alan questions looking at Aiden.
"Mia can you give him the address" Alan switches on the GPS once I give him the address of the store.
This time there was no hesitation on my part as I move closer to Aiden while resting my head against his shoulder while he once again interlaced our fingers.
"Tired?" he questions while caressing my knuckles looking worried.
"Hmm, yes" I admit sleepily.
"You know, you can inform her and take rest right" he presses his lips against my hair.
"No, she'll kill me and cry later. You don't want to risk me dying do you?" his next words fall on deaf ears as I am lulled into sleep.
"Mia, get up we have reached" a rough hand gently caresses my cheek.
"Hmm 5 more minutes" I snuggle into what I think was a pillow.
Then it strikes my turtle brain and I jolt up almost headbutting Aiden, sitting up I take in the surrounding.
"I am so sorry, I don't know when I dozed off" I keep on apologising, as Aiden shakes his head.
"Hey its fine you were tired and I didn't wanted to disturb you" finally my brain begins to work, while Aiden opens the door to my side offering me a hand.
"I'll see you tomorrow" before I can move as Aiden traps me against it, I freeze as he comes closer to me pressing his body against mine as tingles shoot through my body.
He tilts my head backwards, his breath fans across my collar bone, making me render senseless not caring about the place we are in just anticipating his touch. Finally pressing his lips against my collarbone, I let out an shuddered breath as I tug on his hair hoping to have an effect on him as he was making me go haywire. Luckily it did work as he let out a groan,which was enough for me to continue.
Trailing kisses on my neck, a breathy moan escapes my lips as he finds my weak spot which he doesn't even let me ponder on as he sucks on it leaving me breathless.
His minty breath fans across my face as I let out a shuddered breath, I close my eyes waiting for him to press his lips against mine. He kisses me alright, but the corner of my lips but not on them.
"You did say to wait for the date to get over" he whispers in my ears while his lips skim them, while gently tugging it with his teeth, damn I was already coming becoming a putty in his hands.
Asshole was teasing me. Way to go Mia, get blown away with your words
Drinking in my disheveled self his eyes darken if that was possible, a smirk graced his face making him look even more appealing.
"You okay there, darling?" he looked quite satisfied with his little antics, while I on the other hand was annoyed as I was left hot and bothered.
"I am fine, completely fine. Bye"I quickly hug him, letting him know I wasn't upset with him I run into the store, before fixing my apperance. If we thinks he won he doesn't know want is going to hit him.

"Nope it is too puffy" we three shake our heads as she continues to look in the mirror.
"But I like its bodice" Hannah complains while admiring it.
Luckily, they didn't ask me about my flustered state either I was good at hiding or they are plain idiots. Whom I am kidding it is probably the latter.
"Maam, if you may we have something in that type" one of the helper, rose says.
"What happened? Why are you guys staring me as if I told you aliens are real?" that didn't do anything as just stood still, the helpers in the store were throwing looks at us.
I try to take the flute from Em when she snaps, "No, mine"she hissed at me, see free champagne does that to her.
"What the fuck is that?" Em shouts in my ear as she intensely stares at my neck, and it wasn't long before ther two gasp. Feeling conscious I check in one o the many mirrors, worrying that it wasn't a mosquito bite or something.
Well it was bite alright just it wasn't an mosquito, Aiden had left small but noticeable hickey which I now come to think was something he did purposely.
"Explain this young woman" Alex reprimands while I looked in the mirror in horror.
Ah you just wait King, I am going to kill you, that is if I survive them.
"Uh well, you see its a mosq-" before even I could complete my lame excuse, Hannah interrupted me.
"Don't even try to think about claiming it as something stupid as mosquito bite" she warns.
"And I want the full story, you guys have left me out of the loop for quite sometime now" welp, it is a surprise we didn't combust from the intensity of her glare.
"You see what happened was, Aiden fell ill day before yesterday so I took him home, and well the doctor gave him meds and so after that he as quite loopy. We were just talking nonsense, then he confesses that he likes me and we kiss, I mean he kisses but I kiss back." I narrate the whole ordeal.
"Well after that he falls asleep, and yes I stayed the night. The next morning we both don't talk about it, and I thought he forgot about it" I continue.
"No, as far as I know him he always remembers the stuff he does even when he is drunk" Hannah interrupts.
"I wasn't aware of that information, so I just thought it would be best to not talk about it-"
"Which was stupid" Alex is ignored.
"So Em and Alex talk me out of it, but you know me I was still scared but I decided to talk to him. But he beat me to it, he finally convinced me to see the bigger picture and promised to make us possible. And yes he also asked me on a date and I said yes." I finally finish mostly leaving out the frisky details.
"Holy shit" all together they exclaim.
"Yes so now can we focus on Hannah I mean she is the one getting married." trying to take away the spotlight away from.
"And now what he gave you a hickey on the first day itself, dayum baby you got a hella possesive guy"Em analyses, as far as I have noticed she is not wrong.
Aiden left no chance to touch, I have noticed that he keeps our contact someway or other, be it holding hands, my waist or any reason. Now also the mark on my neck is his way of showing the world that even if he isn't beside me, he has embedded himself in me, and just his primal ways are enough to turn me on.
It is just first day and he is making go all crazy over me.
"Hey people how is this one?" while I was lost in my thoughts Hannah went to change in somewhat 5th dress, and when I looked up I couldn't help but tear a bit.
It was off shoulder lace bodice which had intricate designs, while the neck was plunging deep ball gown, the back was an beautiful illusion and the delicate veil just perfect.
The best part was Hannah looked absolutely gorgeous, the dress was complementing her rather than other way and all in all we all were crying mess.
"Oh my God Hannah, tell me you are taking this one" shes nods her vigorously at Alex's question as she was a crying mess.
"Oh fuck I am getting married to the love of my life" she exclaims the sweet reality dawning on her as she is one step closer to her and Augustine being one, but nonetheless she looks happy and content.
"Group hug" I shout pulling them in a hug as it was surreal moment, making us think that we weren't the annoying kids anymore who played pranks on people but sensible adults who affected lives of others.
Hannah getting married, me starting to date Aiden all of this big endeavours scares us a bit, we always know we will be together no matter what and that is what reassures us.
"Hey assholes, we need to find a dress too" and from there we scramble for bridesmaid dresses.
"Hannah's paying" Alex announces with that said we both move to the costlier dresses.
"I am so not, you guys earn for goodness sake. Kids" her words fall on deaf ears as we continue to skim through the dress.
I couldn't help but wander my mind to Aiden, I know I had strong feelings towards the guy and he also felt the same but something in me told me that relationship wasn't going to an easy one, it is going to be one hell of a ride.

Well I am honestly so sorry for updating after almost three month, but I had assignments pending, even my exams were taken in the same month which are supposed to be a month apart. Welp being in college is not easy as they say. Plus also I have got to study for an entrance.
But I'll try to update, I know it wasn't that of happening chapter, but I assure you it is going to be hell of drama ahead.
