Sidharth has no idea what does the statement means. ' He is close to him'. Who is close to him? The actual mastermind behind these murders is close. But to whom? Taking a deep breath, Sidharth gets up from his desk at his home. He has been thinking about everything. The most important thing right now is to catch the killer by some way. He has to lay a trap to get him. Catching him can lead him to the mastermind. He lies down on the bed when his phone rings. It's Jay. Smilingly he picks it up and Jay says,"What's up loverboy? Kya chal raha hai?" Sidharth says,"Me and loverboy? Wrong name for me. Tu hai kahan? I haven't seen you from days now." Jay replies,"Missing me darling? Sukar hai, abhi bhi yaad hun tujhe. Mujhe laga Sana ki ankhon mein kho gaya hai.. loverboy.." He starts to laugh. Sidharth says,"I am hanging up. Good night." "Arey stop yaar! I was joking.", says Jay. Sidharth asks,"Maa has been worried for you. You are not picking up the phone as well. Where are you exactly?" Jay replies,"I am in Pune from two days now. Dad is not well. I have been busy with him that I couldn't call you or aunty. Please tell her. I 'll call her in the morning. Guess whom I met at the airport?" "How is uncle now? And whom did you meet?", asks Sidharth. "Hello! Jay?", asks Sidharth as the line gets disconnected.
Sidharth is in the office of the Commissioner. He says,"We have the list of the names of the people of the industry who are involved in this racket. Iyer is ready to be the witness. Everyone involved in Roshini Gupta's death are in the custody sir." The Commissioner says,"I have to ask another team to take over this racket case. You can hand over the files to them. Regarding Roshini Gupta's case, the file needs to be reopened. Hmm..You should have talked to me before making any arrest.." Sidharth says," Sir, it all came out in the process of investigation." The Commissioner nods his head and says,"I get it. Okay. For now keep the people involved in the suicide case in the custody. Keep all the information on the racket case ready. Handover it to the new team. And make sure nothing regarding the cases go to the press. Once the team is decided then only we can let them know." "Right Sir.", replies Sidharth. The Commissioner then says,".I received the autopsy report of Nasir today. It was a heart failure, so no enquiry will happen. But now what about the case. What is happening? You have moved away from catching the killer to s*x racket." Sidharth replies,"Sir I can't really say much right now. But all I can say that the killer will be in the custody very soon. We are going to make an arrest in a day or two. Trust me sir." The Commissioner nods his head and says,"Hmm."
The phone rings and the Commissioner picking up says,"Hello.. hmm.. Tell him to wait." He turns to Sidharth," Okay. You may leave now." Sidharth takes his leave and coming out of the room, his eyes fall on a tall and healthy man in plain white shirt, standing. Sidharth smiles and extends his hand to shake,"Hey Devesh! How are you man?" Devesh smiles at him and takes his hand to shake,"Sidharth! Long time! I am good! How are you?" Sidharth says,"I am fine. So you here? You were in Pune if I am not wrong." "Yes. I just got transferred here. I will catch you later. Bye.", he says and leaves. He gets out of the building and goes to the car. He gets inside and Bhonsale sitting in the front next to the driver asks,"Sir woh IPS officer Devesh Adhikari the na?" Sidharth replies,"Yes. He was with me in the police academy. Great guy and excellent officer." His phone rings and it's Jay. Sidharth says," What happened yesterday? Tere phone nahi lag raha tha?" "Mat pooch bhai, my phone was dead. I am calling after getting a new phone now. " Sidharth asks,"How is uncle now? And when are you coming back?" Jay replies,"He is better now. I will return after few days. Let him settle down again. Tujhe kal bata raha tha, I met your police academy friend Devesh at the airport. I think he was coming to Mumbai.", replies Jay. Sidharth says," Yeah. I know I met him. You take care of uncle. "
Sidharth gets into his room, followed by his team. Settling down on his chair, he drinks water and then says,"What's the news on them?" Kambli says,"We have kept them on surveillance." "Hmm...this is our last chance. The moment I tell you, be there and do as I have told. There is no other way to get him out as Govind.", says Sidharth. Gaikward says,"Nirmal, the makeup man is still silent. He would have been the best man to find him." Sidharth nods his head,"Let him go. Make sure everyone knows that he has not named anybody and our guess was wrong. Understood?" They nod their heads as Sidharth continues,"Put few people after him. His life could be at stake. The Executive Producer Kumar is in the room. Right. Keep him there. Keep them all here. It's very important."
Few press people standing in front of the CBI headquarters. One of them says infront of the camera holding the microphone,"We just got some news from our sources that the killer of studio murders has been arrested by the CBI. We exactly haven't got the name but it has been heard that the killer was arrested after the studio owner Atul Damle identified him. It is believed that he has regained his senses two days ago and identified his attacker." Few cars arrive at the CBI Headquarters and few police officers including Kambli and Ranne get down. They take out a man, whose face is covered with a black cloth and he is dragged inside.
It is about 2:40 am and a man enters the hospital premises. The security guard has fallen asleep probably after the tea he had taken. It had sleeping pills in them. The man has a shawl covered over his body, only his eyes are visible. He takes the keys from the sleeping guard and opens the gate. He goes inside and looks at the cctv camera near the gate. He knows the blind spots of the cameras as he has done the research, he moves around those area, careful not be caught in the recording. The hospital is deserted except for the two wardboys sleeping on the benches outside. He reaches a door with a number written as 3. He opens it and gets inside. The room is dark, only the light from the outside is coming inside through the shutters. He can see the figure sleeping on the bed under the covers. He goes near him and takes out something from under the shawl. It's a nose. He shakes the hand of the man who is sleeping but he does not wake up. He whispers,"Fine. You will die without knowing your sin. You have done many bad things all your life. But you shouldn't have hurt my Roshini. No. She was innocent and you broke her down." The clock strikes 3 and the man takes a deep breath. He says,"You should have died long back. I don't know how will I punish the others but I know you all will pay for your crime." Saying that, he removes the covers to see the face and gets shocked.
Lights are switched on and the man sleeping on the bed holds the hand of the man standing in front of him."I knew you couldn't resist the temptation of killing Atul Damle. I knew you will commit this mistake of coming here.", says Sidharth getting out of the bed. He pulls the shawl from his body and then pulls the fake beard to reveal his identity. He says,"You took the bait and I knew you would. Atul Damle is out of coma but he has not recognised anybody. He couldn't identify his attacker out of you both. But we played a game. We arrested him and the news spread that killer has been caught. As a result there was no need for police protection for Atul Damle. Your coast was clear for you." Sidharth smiles and continues,"We had kept the place under surveillance. The moment we saw the guard being drugged, we knew you were coming. You fell for the drama, Govind or should I say Brijesh." The man who had entered the hospital to kill Atul Damle was none other than 3rd Assistant Director Brijesh. Sidharth says,"Let Madhab go and take him to the Headquarters. We will talk to him there."
Sidharth sits on the chair waiting for Brijesh aka Govind to speak. He is calm and there is no sign of remorse on his face. He drinks water from the glass placed in front of him. Sidharth asks,"Speak up." Govind smiles and says,"What do you want to know? You know I am the killer. I have killed Raj Kamal, Zarina, Punit and Pranjal. I had attacked Kiran and Atul. I accept. What else do you want me to say?" Sidharth puts his hand on the table,"Everything. We need to know everything from the starting." He looks up to Sidharth and says,"I have always been a shy person. I used to work as assitant director at television series. I met Roshini on the sets of one such tv serial shooting. She instantly started talking to me. We became friends soon. She was very protective about me as I was usually insulted by people for my inability to express things. She was really a pure soul." For the first time since coming here, Sidharth could see emotions on his face. Govind continued,"She was passionate about her work and was doing everything to get a good role in the movies. Then she met Punit. I knew he was not good but Roshini didn't listen to me." He keeps quiet looking away as if relieving those moments. He says,"She stopped meeting me for many days, always going out with Punit. She called me one day. I went to her house... She was looking like a ghost, no life was present inside her. I was worried for her and asked her what had happened to her... She said to me how she was used as a mere body to be fed to people..." He gulps down saliva and continues,"She was made false promises to be given a chance in movies and she agreed to sleep with Raj Kamal. Punit had taken few photographs of her private moments and started blackmailing her. She was sent to various people numerous times.. She was one night..sent to the studio. There these good and esteem people of our industry, took turns to enjoy with her. She couldn't take it anymore. She died that night..I had asked her to go to the police but..She knew, nothing would happen as they were powerful people..She killed herself the next day by committing suicide."
Sidharth face had hardened by now. Running his fingers through his hair, he gets up from the chair. He goes to the window and asks,"I know it's wrong, absolutely disgusting what happened with Roshini. You had the right to get angry. But killing anybody is never an answer." His face had turn emotionless again as he replies,"I am not sorry for what I did. I will do it again if given a chance." Sidharth turns to face him and asks,"Why didn't you tell the police?" He nods his head,"After Roshini died, I went to police. I tried to tell them everything. But nobody cared to even look into the case. They closed her case giving false reasons for her death.." Sidharth looks at him,"You could never kill anybody. That's why you waited all this time. Who is it? Who made you kill them? Who helped you? Whom you want to kill for yourself?" Govind starts to laugh and then say,"You.."
