Tzuyu's POV
"Hop in." Mingyu instantly said when he arrived in front of JYP building. I smiled as I went inside his car and settled myself in the passenger seat.
"Hi." I casually greeted him as he smiled before eyeing me from top to bottom.
'As he usually does.'
"You look beautiful as always, Tzuyu." he complemented.
'Okay... that totally caught me off guard. He rarely complements me because he knows I hate being flustered.'
"Uhm... Thanks. You also look very handsome as always." I shyly said while hiding my blushing face.
'Might as well go with the flow.'
"Thanks." he mumbled some incoherent words afterwards.
'I always here that from....'
Who? That's what I only heard from him.
I just shrugged my shoulders. Probably it's just my ears hearing things.
"Where to?" I asked instead as he started his car and drove off. He glanced back at me for a second before focusing his attention in front of the road.
"It's a surprise. Just sit back and relax, Tzuyu." he answered. Then, I pouted while crossing my arms as I heard him chuckled.
"Oh, c'mon Tzuyu, don't be mad my little Yoda. I promise, it's going to be fun." he said while doing an aegyo.
'Since when did he know how to act cute in front of me? Wow... this is the first.'
"Tsk... Fine." I said in defeat before leaning my back at my seat.
'Mingyu seldomly uses aegyo in front of me. What happened?'
I was so lost in my own thoughts, that I didn't noticed I already drifted to sleep.

"Tzuyu.... Tzuyu.... We're here." I slowly opened my eyes and saw Mingyu in front of me. I smiled at him before getting out of the car, only to find us in a private restaurant. There are no other customers in here except for us both.
'He rented the whole place? Woah... again, this is the first time.'
He always just brings me to their own restaurant when we go out.
"Let's go?" I turned to Mingyu before nodding my head, as he led me inside the restaurant. When we were already inside, a waiter greeted us as he guided us to a fancy table at the center. Mingyu, as a gentleman pulled a chair for me as I muttered my thanks to him and settled myself. Then, he settled himself in front of me.
"You did all of this?" I asked as he nodded his head while smiling.
"Do you like it?" he asked.
"No." then his smile immediately drooped down.
'Too much of the excitement, huh?'
"Because, I love it!" I exclaimed while laughing at his reaction.
'His expression was like he just stepped on something awful, you know what I mean, right?'
"Phew! you gave me a heart attack, Tzu." he said and putted his hand on his chest acting like he has a heart attack. Then I laughed at his silliness.
"Since when did you become playful?" I asked when I noticed some changes, like many. He shrugged. "Since just now?"
I shook my head in disbelief. 'This man, really...'
"What's for the menu tonight?" I changed the topic.
"Your favorites." he answered which made my face lighten up.
"JinJja?!" I surprisingly asked and on cue, some waiters arrived holding some plates and they placed it at the table one by one.
Due to the overwhelming feeling I felt just now, I got up from my sit and went to Mingyu's side. "I love you." I said before kissing his cheek.
He smiled in response. Only smiled.
'Okay... what was that?'
I went back to my chair while intently looking at him.
'Now this is strange.'
"Dig in." he said. Even if I was already marveled with his actions right now, I shrugged all of it and just ate together with him.
"Congrats on your new album, by the way." he said in the middle of our eating. Then, I smiled to him.
'I thought he forgot.'
"Gomawo."
Suddenly, my phone vibrated making me stop eating. I picked up my phone from my purse and saw a text message.
'I'm telling you, observe your surroundings and the people you trust.'
'What the hell?! This again?!'
"Tzu, is something wrong?" I looked up from my phone and saw Mingyu looking at me.
"Uhm... No, nothing's wrong." I lied.
'Why do I feel like I have to keep it from him that someone's texting me some things like this?'
"But, why were you frowning while looking at your phone a while ago?" he suddenly asked.
'Did I make it too obvious?'
'I really do need to learn acting more often now.'
"Oh, that. That was nothing, Sana unnie just sent me a wrong message. Yeah, that's why." I lied again. At the back of my mind, I was silent praying and apologizing.
'Sorry Sana unnie, but I need your clumsiness excuse right now. Forgive me.'
"Okay. Are you already done eating?" he asked as I nodded.
'Phew... at least he bought that excuse, right?'
'I owe you one, Sana unnie. Hehehe...'
"Well, let's go?" he added as I looked at him.
"Home?" I asked as he shake his head.
"No, there's one more place I want to bring you. So, let's go?" he explained as I nodded my head before we bid our goodbyes to the waiters and headed out.
"Where to?" I asked once we were inside his car. Then he chuckled.
"It's another surprise, Tzu. I don't want to spoil it." he said as I nodded my head, not asking him about it more because I know he will not tell me.
I rested my back against the seat and closed my eyes, drifting again to sleep.

"Tzu, wake up we're here." I opened my eyes and slowly scanned the whole area.
I realized that we're at a noraebang.
'A karaoke... seriously?'
"What are we doing here?" I asked him as soon as we got out of his car. I heard Mingyu chuckled.
"Of course, it's a noraebang so we're going to sing." He said in a matter of fact tone.
'Sometimes, he's slow.'
"I know we're at a noraebang but, why did you bring me here?" I elaborated.
'That's my point all along. He didn't get it?'
"Why? You don't like it, Tzu? If you want, we can go home." He sadly said and was about to go back to his car when I held his arm.
"No, of course I want to go, I'm just asking." I said to him.
'I don't want to ruin the night. Even if I feel totally weirded out at this moment.'
'Since when did he liked to go at this kind of places? A noraebang, seriously? Since when?'
"Let's go?" I added and I dragged him inside. A lady approached us and leaded us to a private room.
"You also prepared all of this?" I asked once we were inside the private room.
"Yeah, I thought why not bring you here. I actually planned all of this." he explained as I smiled at his sweetness.
'At least, he made an effort to all of this, right?'
That's what matters after all. The effort and thought.
"Aww... You're so sweet. I love you." I said and hugged him.
'Strange, every time we hugged there's always a spark. But now, when I hugged him, his body stiffened a bit and there's no more spark.'
After we broke the hugged, his face was blank for a second and there's something in his eyes that I can't distinguish.
"Uhm... Mingyu? You're spacing out." I snapped my fingers in front of him as he flinched a little bit.
"Huh? Oh, sorry. What were you saying?" he asked as I frowned at his actions.
'His acting totally strange right now.'
I brushed off the negative thought, before flashing a small smile towards him.
"I said, let's sing." I said and handed him the other microphone.
"Oh, what would you like to sing?" he asked as I picked DNA from BTS, that's one of my favorite song in BTS.
'Especially Taehyung oppa's part wherein he and Jungkook oppa made a duet, and his looks on the music video was so cool. He looked like an anime.'
I started singing Taehyung oppa's part as Mingyu sang the rap parts. After the song ended, I looked at him and gestured my eyes.
"Huh? Oh right." He said and picked another song. This time it's Red Flavor from Red Velvet. I started singing with him, dancing the choreography. When a particular person appeared in the screen, Mingyu stopped dancing and stared at that person for a second before dancing again.
'What was that? His acting really strange right now.'
The whole time, I was just frowning at him and his actions. After our noraebang, we decided to go home. I ordered Mingyu to drop me off at JYP building, because I don't want him to know that we are living with BTS. He always got jealous at the mention of BTS and I don't know why.
"Are you sure you don't want me to drop you off at your dorm?" he asked while driving. I smiled before shaking my head.
'If you're not jealous with BTS sunbaenims, I should've already told you our address.'
"No, it's okay, besides I texted Nayeon unnie to get me at JYP just now." I explained showing my phone to him as he nodded in agreement.
When we arrived in front of JYP, he pulled off at a side then turned to me.
"I had fun tonight." I honestly said to him while smiling.
'Even though you were totally acting strange the whole time.' I added inside my head.
"Same. So, see you around?" he asked as I nodded my head.
"Yeah. Bye, I love you." I said and pecked his cheeks and opened his car door. I expected him to say 'I love you too', but my expectations were broken when he just hummed in response and then drove off.
'What's his problem?'
I went inside our building, frowning. After a minute, another car pulled over in front, I thought it was Nayeon unnie but I was wrong when I saw another person, smiling at the driver's seat.
"Hop in." Taehyung oppa said and opened the passenger's seat.
Yes, Taehyung oppa is the one who picked me up.
I went inside the car, frowning.
'Where on Earth is Nayeon unnie? And instead of her, this handsome yet totally an alien man was the one who picked me up?'
"Nayeon requested me to pick you up, because BLΛƆKPIИK is currently at our house and she's busy talking with them." he explained when he noticed my frowning face.
"Oh." that's the only word that escaped my mouth as he started to drive away.
"How was your date with Mingyu?" he broke the silence.
"It was good." I shortly answered him to avoid the topic as he hummed in response.
'Why do people these days like to just hum in response? Are they lacking words to say?'
"How about you? I heard Joy unnie visited you a while ago?" I changed the topic.
'I won't allow that only him can ask me questions like that. Never in his dreams.'
"It was also good. By the way, how did you know?" he answered and asked me as I chuckled.
'I have my ways.' was the first thought which came into my mind, but I decided to change it.
"Irene unnie." I shortly answered.
"So, did the both of you had a date?" I asked him again as he glanced at me for a second before turning back to the road.
"Yeah." he briefly said.
"Did you have fun?" I asked.
'Why am I suddenly curious to know about everything that happened to him today?'
"Of course." he shortly answered, but his eyes are telling the opposite.
'Huh? Strange, how I can easily know Taehyung oppa's feelings, unlike the others or even Mingyu.'
'We're just the same then." I mumbled.
'Acting like we are okay for what happened today, yet we are not.' I thought.
From my peripheral vision, I saw him looked at me. I smiled at him before leaning my head against the window and focused my attention outside.
After our little conversation, we rode in silence that I didn't noticed I already drifted to sleep.
