Not knowing what it could cost, the Maidens only cared about reviving their past. Finally, the ritual started, and slowly the six pure souls started getting sucked in by the blood-red Crystal of the Killing Moon. Their pure white attires transformed into black gowns with horns growing on their head. The Maidens were no longer alive, as the six Witching souls had taken over them. The Witches headed to the Maidens' Castle at the very center of the Cursed Forest, which had now rebuilt into the Palace of Despair. As the witches ascended on their respective thrones, thriving with immortal powers, the palace got covered by the evil spirit of the thousand-year-old Cursed Forest. ❞
