"Elle"
She was dreaming, but Simone was calling her name.
"Elle"
No she was just imagining it, it was way too dark to be morning.
"Elle"
Someone was lightly shaking her now, or were they.
Elle opened her eyes and jumped immediately to see Professor McGonagall standing at the side of her bed holding a lit candle,
"Professor?" Elle muttered bleary eyed. As her vision focused she could see the teacher was looking pale and worried,
"Is everything ok?" She sat up quickly.
"It's been requested by Mr Weasley that I must wake you as well" she said hurriedly "we need to go now"
Elle jumped up,
"Which Mr Weasley" Elle presumed she knew she answer however she couldn't be sure,
"One of the twins, I can never tell the difference now come in there's little time"
"Must be George" Elle muttered as she grabbed her boots and a jumper pulling them on over her pyjamas hastily and following the teacher down into the common room.
Fred, George and Ginny were already standing there looking alert but confused,
"What's going on?" Elle walked over to George who immediately held her hand tightly,
"They're saying dads being attacked and we have to leave, I said she should wake you too" George muttered quickly,
"Your dads been attacked" Elle gasped, she looked over at Fred and Ginny who looked as though they might be sick "who attacked him?"
"All questions aren't to be answered later" McGonagall stated importantly "you are to go to Grimmauld place by portkey now... don't worry about your trunks I will send them over by floo powder tomorrow".
With that the four of them were following McGonagall briskly through the corridors. They were quiet as to not wake anyone else.
George held Elle's hand tightly as they headed towards Dumbledore's office, she could tell he was scared. Understandably.
✰✰✰
"Fizzing whizbees" McGonagall said clearly to the gargoyles outside his office, they spun round to reveal a large spiral staircase which McGonagall and the students hurried up.
Elle had been in this office a few times however she knew the twins had not, despite all the trouble they got into.
Harry and Ron were standing before Dumbledore's desk. Ron rushed over to his family quickly while Harry just stood there. He looked pale and practically terrified. What was going on.
Suddenly a large Phoenix feather rushed out of the fire and into Dumbledores hand,
"Umbridge is out" Dumbledore muttered quickly to McGonagall "find her and delay her, use any excuse" the teacher rushed off leaving the Weasley kids (along with Elle and Harry) standing in a group in the office.
"You will take a portkey to Grimmauld place" he talked quickly as though they were about to be interrupted.
He pulled an old kettle out of his desk draw and tapped it once with his wand,
"Does mum know yet?" Fred called out,
"Is Dad ok?" Ginny added,
"All your questions will be answered shortly enough but for now you must go"
"You've all used a portkey before, correct?" Everyone nodded as he placed the kettle before them on the floor.
Each one of them reached out and placed their hand on it. The sensation was like someone had attached a hook to be back of Elle's neck and was now dragging her through the air. She remembered the feeling from when they used a portkey at the quidditch World Cup.

They arrived in the hallway of Grimmauld place falling all over. The portrait of Mrs Black started screaming instantly and two figures rushed into the hall.
"There you all are" Sirius gasped as he pulled Harry to his feet "come through to the kitchen"
The other figure was Elle's brother Theodore who seemed surprised to see her there.
"Is dad ok?" Ginny asked hurriedly,
"He's at St. Mungo's" Sirius replied anxiously,
"We need to go" Fred called "we need to see him"
"You can't all just go racing into St Mungos" Sirius sighed.
"Why not" George retorted "he's our dad,
"Yes but how would you explain how you knew about the accident before anyone else?"
"How did we?" Elle butted in,
"I saw it" Harry whispered in a shuddering voice "I dreamt it... or I had a vision of it"
The twins and Ginny immediately started hounding him for more details. Harry explained what he had seen and Ginny clasped her hand over her mouth,
"Attacked by a snake?" Fred gawped "where was he?"
"It doesn't matter" Sirius interjected,
"Of course it matters!" Fred snapped "we need to know he's ok"
"Your mother is there now and she will let everyone know as soon as something happens" Sirius sighed "there's nothing more you can do except-" he was interrupted by a letter flying out of the fireplace. Sirius garbed it out of the air and opened it quickly.
"It's from your mother" Sirius began but before he could read it out George snatched it off him,
"With Arthur now, he's still alive will update you when I can"
"Still alive?" Ginny repeated,
"But that sounds like-" Fred began as he took the letter off his brother. Elle knew exactly what it sounded like. It was as though Arthur was hovering somewhere in between life and death.
"If you could all get some sleep" Sirius attempted but was immediately shot down,
"No way!" Fred shook his head "not until we hear if dads ok"
"In that case" Sirius grimaced "I guess we'll have some drinks" he summoned bottles of butter beer out of cupboards with his wand. They went skidding across the table but stopped perfectly in front of everyone.
Elle took a seat next to her brother who was awfully quiet. George was opposite but was determinedly staring into the fire as though waiting for another letter.
✰✰✰
The minutes passed in complete silence as everyone was on edge of any news about Mr Weasley's condition. They drank their butter beer as the hours went on but still nothing happened. Elle wasn't sure what time it was or how much time had passed but still no one dared speak up. Minds were filled with worry. Elle was confused to what Harry had meant when he'd had a vision about the attack, was it like one of her dreams? It couldn't have been the same as he saw it as it was happening. She saw the future.
This was the longest night that Elle had ever had to endure. She didn't feel like sleeping of course, worry was still evident in everyone's faces. Fred had fallen asleep and his chin was now resting on his chest. Ginny was curled up like a cat in her chair but Elle could still see her eyes were open and staring into the fire. Theo had not moved a muscle and remained in an upright position looking past George's head and into the fire.
George and Elle kept glancing at each other but neither said a word.
✰✰✰
It was around ten past five in the morning when the front door opened. Everyone jumped up, even Fred, to see who had come in. It was Molly, she looked tired and exasperated but she was smiling.
"He's going to be alright" she beamed. George and Ginny immediately ran forward to hug their mother while Ron and Fred cheered in delight.
"Right, I'll make breakfast" Sirius called as the Weasleys hugged tightly. Theo jumped up to go help as Sirius started collecting eggs out of the fridge,
"How many is there one, two, three-"
"Nine" Theo interrupted. Elle noticed how tired he looked. Everyone was tired now as they'd been awake all night but the look of her brother reminded her of how he'd looked just after breaking out of Azkaban.
"Sirius we'll have to stay here for Christmas if that's alright" Molly called,
"The more the merrier" he smiled gleefully,
"Harry" Molly smiled "if it wasn't for you well... best not to think about that" she pulled Harry in for a hug,
"And Sirius thank you for looking after them"
"My pleasure Molly" he beamed again looking a lot happier than he had done before.
They Weasley children asked an overdose of questions while everyone ate breakfast, Molly wouldn't tell them where Arthur had been as apparently it was top secret and he could get into a lot of trouble if it was found out.
Everyone was sent up to bed after that, after all they'd barely had any sleep and Elle felt extremely tired because if it.
She fell asleep immediately as soon as her head hit the pillow and didn't even get interrupted by dreams.
