He walks into my room with a relaxed look on his face. He wasn't smiling but he still looked a little excited. I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear due to how nervous I was. He was going to kill me if he found out I was lying. I could say it's a prank. Yeah, right, Do I want to die?
"Two of you should get out." He orders Amelia and Francesco with such authority.
Francesco rolls his eyes while Amelia smiles but they still obey him. Once we're alone he comes up to me and sits next to me.
"Do you really remember me?"
I nod my head to the point it could give me a headache. He held my head still and his hand touching my chin left a soft warm feeling. "Calm down." He chuckles.
"I've missed you so much." He coos holding my hand.
"Me too," I mumble. I couldn't help but start to feel bad for him.
He leans in to kiss me but I push back before our lips can touch. "I don't feel comfortable doing that yet."
He was shocked at my actions. I think he expected me to allow him to kiss him or for me to throw myself on him. But I couldn't because I didn't like nor love him.
I can tell that he didn't believe me anymore because he had a look on his face. I couldn't decipher it but I knew I was in trouble.
"Arabella, where are my parents right now?" He quizzes.
"They passed away." I answer remembering what Francesco told me.
"When did we first kiss?"
I try my best to think hard but of course the memories weren't in my mind. "Okay, fine. I'm sorry. I kissed Francesco and told Amelia and Francesco made up a lie that I got my memories back so she wouldn't get mad." I explain, feeling awful.
"You kissed Amelia's boyfriend?" He asks me in a bored tone.
I was expecting him to get mad but he didn't seem to care. Was he getting tired of me? I press my lips against his quickly to try and spark old memories but before it could happen he pushes me off.
"If you feel uncomfortable, don't kiss me. I don't want you to kiss me if you've just kissed him anyway." He mutters.
"I'm sorry."
"Vincenzo, I want you to take me to all the places we went to together!" I announce.
