Romans PoV
Ｔｈｕｒｓｄａｙ
Today is the day. The day I will take my bravery to the next step. The day I confess to Virgil and possibly ask him to be mine,if things go well. I've thought about this for the past days. It has been on my mind all the time. It even caused me to stay awake last night but I managed to slip a small nap.
I knew I had to do a quick 'confession plan'. If I didn't everything I would try to say would come out differently. So I pulled out a notepad and stared to write down a few ideas of what I could say.
After fifteen minutes of writing I had twenty six ideas write down, and I couldn't say all of those to him because he'd be bored out of his mind. I wanted to say something that wasn't shirt but not too long at the same time. So I had to ditch some ideas and put some together to get the perfect one. It took a while to decide which ones I was going to use but most of them were similar so it wasn't too difficult.
A few hours later in the living room with Logan,Roman,Patton
Patton: Well Roman how are you feeling?
Roman: Nervous, confident, scared
Logan: Am I forgetting something?
Patton: Yeah Logie! You know Roman is asking you know who out later
Logan: Oh yes! Good luck Roman
Roman: well that's if I ask him out
Patton: You are not backing out now! You said you would
Roman: I know I know but what if he-
Logan: You seem to be extremely paranoid about it
Patton: There is nothing to worry about Roman
Roman: There is
Patton: What?
Roman: I could confess but then he'd feel grossed out that I like him then he'd want to be away from me at all times and I'd lose him completely
Patton: Kiddo! Calm down it will be fine
Virgil: What's going on?
Roman: AH Virgil! You always sneak up on us!
Virgil: Sneaky
Roman: Very
Patton: How are you kiddo?
Virgil: Tired
Patton: You not sleep?
Virgil: You know it
Patton: Something in your mind?
Virgil: I guess that's what you could say
Patton: Ooo~ He is thinking of someone
Virgil: Shush Patton
Roman: Oh no denial! Who is this lucky fellow?
Virgil: It isn't important
Roman: It is we could help you get with him
Virgil: It's impossible
Patton: It's not
Roman: So he knows who it is?
Virgil: N-
Patton: Yup
Roman: Tell meeee
Virgil: in your dreams
Roman: I will know eventually!
Virgil: Maybe
Roman: WOOO
a few hours later
Virgil and I decided to go now since we were ready to do something. I waited for him at the front door because he was making sure his eyeshadow was ok, eventually the lil emo joined me.
Roman: Are you ready good sir?
Virgil: Pfft of course I am Princy
Roman: Then we shall go
Virgil: You know it good sir
We walked to where we were going to get some food at. We haven't decided on a place but I had one in mind. It was Virgil's favourite place to go. If he wants to go we will go but if there is anywhere else he wants to go I will gladly take him there.
Virgil: So where we heading?
Roman: I was thinking this one place *insert somewhere to go for food*
Virgil: Really?
Roman: Yeah, you like it?
Virgil: That's an understatement
Roman: So you wanna go?
Virgil: is that even a question?
So it was decided. I knew he liked going there. We walked for around ten minutes and during that time I was teasing him about who his unknown crush was and I got no answer. He did promise he would tell me who at one point. The thing is I want to know to help him get with him but he still refuses to tell me. One day I will get there. I'll find out later, how? Well when he says he doesn't feel the same he will tell me about the other guy he likes. I know it! Wow Roman you are getting smarter as the day goes on! We got a table for two and I could see people give Virgil a few looks due to the way he dresses, that annoys me, why can't people let him be himself?! We just ignored them until a couple of people came over to us and I may have got at them.
Flashbackkkk
Roman: That was amazing
Virgil: This place is the best
Roman: I might have to agree with you on that
Virgil: might? You mean you do
Roman: I know I do
Random Person: Yo emo! Why you do down? Is your life as dark as your eyeshadow?!
Random Person 2: Ha! It probably is! Just be happy for once!
Roman: Ok Ok. Here's the thing you aren't funny so whatever you are trying to do stop
Random Person: Ooo his boyfriend is getting involved
Roman: We aren't dating and as I was saying leave him alone
Random Person2: Why not you want someone happy? Sees life as something to enjoy?
Roman: Ok I was trying to be nice but I don't think I can contain it anymore. Who are you to judge him? Do you know him? No. So let him go about his day in peace without you assholes coming into it. Now if you don't leave I won't hold back on physical contact. So go on with your day and we'll go on with ours.
Random Person: Wow these people aren't fun, let's go.
They walked away from us and then left. I still was mad at them. Why treat him like that? I looked over at Virgil. He stared at the ground and looked a little upset. I could see he was tense.
Roman: I'm sorry Virgil
Virgil: It's fine
Roman: It's not! They just came in and started to be horrible to you and I ain't having someone doing that to you! You are an amazing person Virgil and don't let people tell you different
A smile came onto his face and looked up at me. I think that made him happy. I want it to make him happy. I want to make him happy. My goal in life is to be with him,spend it with him and make him happy, that's all I want.
Virgil: You really are the best Princy
Roman: Did I hear that correct? Panic at the everywhere just called me the best! Well I am flattered Virgil
Virgil: Don't make me regret saying it
Roman: Oh I won't
We sat around there for a while and had a couple of drinks. We talked about our future and what we want it to be like.
Virgil: Honestly I just hope it's good
Roman: Me too, I already have an idea of who I want to spend it with
Virgil: Really?
Roman: Yep the best guy in the world! What about you? Anyone you want to be with?
Virgil: maybe there is
Roman: You still have to tell me who!
Virgil: Not now
Roman: Whennnn
Virgil: I'm not sure, sometime
Roman: Ok so what if we make a deal? If I tell you mine , you tell me yours. Deal?
Virgil: Deal
Roman: Great!
Then we got up and went for our walk. We didn't agree on a time we'd tell each other. We just are going to let it happen. Little does Virgil know he will be telling me who he is into very very soon. As in maybe an hour or so soon. That's when the nerves came back for a while. How could I not be nervous?! It's Virgil, the most amazing guy ever! I know he won't like me but I'm not throwing away my shot! (Hamilton pun intended) I'm going to shoot my shot later and I know I might regret it but it's worth a try!
We walked around the park in comfortable silence with us. There was only us and a few other people in the Park, so it was a peaceful time. I looked over at Virgil and he was admiring the stars above him. They reflected in his eyes making them sparkle. He looked over and seen me stare at him.
Virgil: You ok Princy?
Roman: Yeah just admiring your eyes
A glow appeared on his face. He looked the other way. I laughed and apologised to him, while I did that I spilled my arm over his shoulder. He didn't tell me to stop it so I kept it there. It made me feel like he was mine and I was protecting him from danger, sometimes I wish I was. We walked around the Park twice then decided to sit down somewhere. I knew where to go. I to him by the hand and lead him to the best stop in the Park. It was a place with trees and seats around the lake ahead. It was beautiful.
Roman: I love this place
Virgil: Me too it's just wow, it's the best place to come to clear your head
I knew that I had to say it soon or it would be too late and I'd chicken out of doing it for days. I don't want to do that. I want to do it today,now. I wished myself luck in my head and kept saying it would be ok. I thought of all the things Logan and Patton said to me. I can do this. I won't give up on him. He will be mine, one day.
Roman: Hey Virgil is it ok if I talk to you about something that was on my mind and ask you something
Virgil: Sure what's up
