Every time I glance at those blazing brown eyes,
Can't seem to help but watch a part of me die,
Every word we spoke, including those sweet lies,
Kills me inside to know I deserved a better goodbye,
Every time I run into you when I try my best not to,
I always wonder, do you dream of me too?
I didn't know what was love until I met you,
A someone I couldn't help but tell the stars about you,
But when my existence didn't mean the same to you,
I stepped back, thinking she deserved you better  than I do,
To watch a smile on that face is all I ever wanted,
But hurts to know I'm not the reason behind it,
You made me doubt myself when you were the problem all along,
Don't know what hurts more; letting go or holding on,
You gave me the best of memories that won't leave my bones,
My heart is taken by someone I can't call my own,
My tears blur the memory my mind holds vivid,
I'm scared ; what if no one makes me feel the way you did?
I feel ashamed to say that you're still my weakness,
You and I will always be unfinished business.
