Traitor eyes
“Hindi ka ba nakakaintindi? Sabi ko umuwi ka na!” Xavier's thunderous tone filled my ear. Ilang beses akong napakurapkurap and my jaw dropped. I never see him that angry to me. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ganoon katakot ang naramdaman ko nang isigaw niya iyon sa'kin.
I thought it belongs to one of my wicked dreams but when I woke up and realized it really happened last night. Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako. What's wrong with him?
“Ylyn, anak.” sigaw ni Mommy sa labas ng kwarto ko. “Breakfast is ready, you get up there. May pasok kapa ngayong araw.”
“I'll be there, Mommy.” wika ko at tumayo na sa kama.
Naka ready na ang breakfast sa long table namin at nakaupo naroon si Daddy wearing his office attire. Si Relle na bunso kong kapatid at si Mommy na kakaupo lang.
“Good morning, Dad.” I kissed his left cheek before I could go on in adjacent chair of my little sister.
“Good morning, ate.” nginitian ko siya.
“Nag-away daw kayo ni Xavier?” si Daddy.
“Hindi po.” kumunot ang noo ko.
“Pumunta siya rito kanina, ang sabi ay sumabay kana sa kaniya. Pero hindi ko pinayagan. Sumabay ka na lang sa kapatid mo.”
“Opo.” I nod. Dad in his late 40's. His very strict dahil sinabi ni Xavier na nag-away kami kahit hindi naman. Talagang hindi niya ako mapapayagang sumabay kay Xavy.
Ibang school ang pinapasukan ng bunso kong kapatid ako naman ay sa isang unibersidad. Dumeretso muna ako sa malapit na lemon chill stall. I ordered lemon orange bago pupuntang gym. Nakasabay ko pa ang isang player ng school.
“Wala ka bang pasok?” He asked as if we're close friends.
Umiling ako. Naramdaman ko naman ang pag-ngisi niya.
“Laxus or Xavier?”
“What do you mean Laxus or Xavier?” tanong ko without glaring at him.
“Kung sino kakampihan mo. Magkaibang team na sila sa mga susunod na laban.”
“Really?” gulat kong baling. Sa bagay, hindi nga sila magka-klase, the teachers chooses na hiwalay sila nang klase. Pareho silang matalino kaya baka sumakit ang ulo ng prof nila kung magbangayan sa sagot ang dalawa.
“Whose your team then?” sa lawak na nang nai-kuwento niya, iyon lamang ang natanong ko pagkapasok namin mismo ng gym.
There are some students on the bleachers and perhaps my classmates are there too.
“Maiwan na kita, Ylyn.” he goodbye. Hindi ko na tinuunan pa nang pansin kahit na nasa akin parin ang buo n'yang atensyon.
Laxus Salvator stepped swift strides towards me when he see me with a guy. He's dripping wet because of the game. Kakapahinga niya pa lang din at maaaring sasabak siya muli mamaya.
His both hands on his waist and a small towel hanging on his shoulder. “Your with that guy,” he said pointing the guy I was with, using his head. “Didn't you know him? His a bad guy, may girlfriend na iyon, Ylyn.”
I nodded like a little girl. “Where is Xavier?” tanong ko, luminga-linga.
“Nasa locker room. You tell me... is he trying to get you?” Tinutukoy niya parin iyong kanina.
“Calm down, Laxus. Nakisabay lang sa'kin sa paglalakad hindi ko naman iyon papatulan.”
Bumuntong hininga siya at mas tinitigan ako. “Are you sure? Pwede namang maglakad siya mag-isa. Bakit kailangan pang sumabay sayo?” maangas n'yang sabi.
“I don't know! Hindi ko nga pinansin nung una sumabay parin. Anong gusto mong gawin ko? Itulak siya palayo? I'm not stupid to do that! That's very rude.”
Ngumisi siya't pinanliitan ako ng mga mata. “Masungit ka sa ibang lalaki hindi ba? Hindi mo ba magawa sa kaniya?”
My jaw drop and crooked face etched in me. “Laxus... seriously? We'll talk about this detail by detail? Tsk! I don't even like him! Come on!” I rolled my eyes on him. “Gusto ko nang umupo.”
Hinayaan niya ako. Umupo ako sa kung saan siya kanina. Crossing my legs, folding my arms, and put my bag by my side where he sits. And he never left his questions.
“He's a player in other school, hindi mo man lang napansin na hindi siya taga rito?” ang isang kamay ay nakatuko sa tuhod at ang isa ay parang problemadong ginulo ang buhok like he's pissed but he controlled it patiently.
“He know me, Ax. Should I snob him it's because he doesn't belong here?” sinupladahan ko siya at kinagat nang kaonti ang pang-ibabang labi.
“No. It's not because of that. At syempre kilala ka niya, sino bang hindi makikilala ang isang Zamora?” he alarmed. “I want you to know that he's a playboy, Ylyn. May girlfriend siya sa school nila, at may pinormahan rin siyang dito nag-aaral.”
“Sino?”
Umiling siya. Alam niya kasing kahit sabihin niya pa ang pangalan ay hindi ako magkaka- interesado.
Inabutan ko siya nang Gatorade.. alam kong gusto niya nang uminom sa pagtatalo namin. I even watched his adam's apple going up and down. And he's sweating.
Marahil maarte nga ako, pero kahit pinandidirian ko ang pawis nang iba.. iba yata itong kay Ax na mabango parin kahit pawisan na.
“Kailan ang totoong game niyo?”
“Sa Monday, there will be prices before it's starts.”
Hmm. Baka iyong mga tickets na pinamigay nila? mabuti na nga lang at wala akong binayad do'n. Ayoko kasi ng mga ganoon, cuz I never been picked. So what's the sense of paying it all? Not that I needed the money. The problem is... hindi ko pa naranasan ang sinwerte.
“I get it that your a girl-crave among those bad guys, Ylyn. Just make sure you'd alert me if ever they've plan to court you.”
Nginiwian ko lang siya. Paano ba naman kasi, lahat ba nang manliligaw ay playboy? Wala man lang bang matino? Mabenta yata ako sa mga playboy na yan o bad guys... wala pa yatang mahinhing lalaking nanligaw sa'kin. Takot siguro sumubok, darn! Am I intimidating? Or maybe they're just scared of courting a naughty and snobby like me? Ugh!
“Xavy...?” tumayo ako nang makita siyang sumulpot na.
Narinig kong tumili ang mga nasa taas na bleachers pagka-sulpot niya. Laxus glared at him... hindi ko nga lang maintindihan at mukhang galit sila sa isa't-isa.
“Ylyn.” his manly voice, may nais yata siyang sabihin. Umupo siya sa kabilang side, tinabihan ako... pumapagitna na ngayon sa kanilang dalawa.
“What time is it?” he ask huskily.
Inabot niya ang isang kamay ko nang dahan-dahan. Tinanaw niya mula roon ang oras sa suot kong wristwatch na bili niya sa'kin few days ago.
Ngumiti siya nang makitang suot-suot ko ang bigay niya. My skin is as look as a milk kaya bumagay sa black na bigay niya. Chanel pre-owned wristwatch, nakita niya kung paano ko tignan ang relong ito noong araw, nagulat na lamang ako at binigay niya sa'kin. Binili niya na pala, and he said it's an advance gift for me. Matagal pa ang birthday ko nauna nga lang ang regalo.
“You'll having your class after break. Naghahanda kana dapat sa quiz niyo kaysa manood dito, Ylyn.” he murmured. Alam niya ang mga schedule ko pati kung kailan ang quiz. It annoys me, sana ganiyan din ako katalino gaya nila ni Ax.
“Tsk!” I murmured back. “I will feel bored inside the room, Xavy. Dito muna ako sabay tayong mag-break tatlo.” pagkasabi ko no'n ay bumaligid siya kay Laxus I watch him and Ax ang masungit! Parang mangangagat sa titig niya.
“Try not to wear it young lady... babawiin ko 'yan sa'yo, hindi ako nagbibiro.” he whispered against my ear, referring the wristwatch with stormy gaze.
Tumuwid siya sa pag-upo at pinunasan ang leeg sa puting towel. I bit my bottom lip.
“By the way, sinabi mo kay Daddy na nag away tayo? Hindi naman, ah?”
He sighed brutally with my query as he averted my gaze, I saw how he gritted his teeth I know when he does that. “Hindi ako ang nagsabi n'yan.” he separated his legs at sabay no'n ang pagtuko niya sa dalawang siko sa kaniyang tuhod. He was looking at Laxus wickedly.
Ax was looking at him more dangerous than his. “What do you mean? Who said that to Dad? Kaya nga hindi siya pumayag na sumabay ako sa'yo, 'diba?”
He licked his lips. Nag-iwas ako nang tingin. I got distracted so, tiningala ko na lamang si Laxus. Something weird to the both of them, ang sama ng tinginan.
“You follow,” ani Laxus kay Xavier na papasok sa team. He run in the middle of the court at kinausap ang isa sa mga miyembro nila.
When I glared at Xavy... he was licking his lips again the reason it reddened more.
“Ano ba yan, Xavier. Itigil mo nga 'yan.” I said distractedly.
“What?” He chuckled. “You don't like it?” grim face etched in me receiving his playful words. Damn him for chuckling fascinatingly.
Umiling ako at inirapan siya. Lalo pang tumawa at inakbayan ako.
“Ikaw lang ba ang pwedeng mang-akit, huh? Young lady?” he trouble my hair while biting his lower lip, hiding a handsome grinned.
“Your arm is heavy. Put it down!” reklamo ko.
He chuckled again. “Arte mo, what's wrong with this? I'm just acting sweet.” his arm was really heavy, bakit ayaw niyang maniwala.
“Ewan ko sayo!” iling ko. I flow my eyes in court. Pinanood ko ang laro si Xavier ay nanatili naman sa tabi ko. Baka mamaya na papasok ng team.
Laxus with his intimidating eyes darted to me and then to Xavier who's troubling my hair. His hands stilled on his waist like a problematic guy. Umiling pa siya.
“Sinong nagsabi kay Dad? Is it Ax?”
Hindi siya sumagot. Tahimik lang akong pinagmamasdan.
“Did you two fight last night?” Hindi muli siya sumagot, rather, he gently touch my hair, hauled some bunches and put it at the back of my ear.
I waited for his answers to my questions but then nothing thrown out from his mouth. He just shook his head bore his eyes into my barbie one.
“Your traitor eyes are the reason why bad guys fall for you.” he whispered. “And those not intentional were trap.”
I winced at him etching a half smile. “Tsk! Anong sinasabi mo?” I rolled my eyes in artsy way before leaving his gaze. What does he mean by that? Who's not intentional? Trap? I don't get it! I understand that may be my eyes were glamorous but being called traitor was a big question to me.
“Xavy, can we go to the bar later? My treat.” I pleaded as I clutched my both hands around his arm in excitement.
“Mag-aral ka muna, Ylyn. Saka kita pagbigbigyan.” he stood up. Napabitiw ako sa hawak ko sa kaniyang braso, at napawi ang ngiti sa labi.
“”Tsk! Nakapag review naman ako.” halos pabulong ko nang sambit.
He just glance briefly without saying anything about my pleading. Now watching the game... Laxus on the other hand seems frustrated! I don't know why. I was observing his movements, binangga niya ang isa sa mga kalaban na ikinagulat ng iilan ngunit hindi tumigil sa pagtakbo si Ax, I know that the officers, the referee at kahit ang coach nila ay nakitaan ang galaw niya subalit walang pagpito ang naganap, his runs were out of control and the way he shoot the ball through the hoop was very roughed like he's mad of something. Kaya siguro nakaligtaan ng referee dahil sa mabilis na kilos ni Laxus.
Tiningala ko si Xavier na nakatayo at naka-talikod na sa akin, his wide shoulders and hard muscles were reacting because of Laxus's madly moves. He gritted his teeth it reflects on his tighten jaw as he put his left hand on his waist. I even heard him cursing Laxus's name habang hinihilot ang sentido.
“Xavier...” I uttered and leaned towards him.
“Mhm?” he turn around, nahuli ng mata ko ang pag-aalala niya at maaaring pag-kainis din kay Ax.
“I'm worried about Laxus. What's happening to him?”
Tumitig siya ng matagal sa'kin at nag-iisip. I twisted my lips artfully looking worried to Ax.
“He's just exhausted by the game! Don't worry,” mukhang may sasabihin pa sana siya ngunit hindi niya na tinuloy.
He returned his back again where the only thing I could give attention was his printed name written on his varsity shirt... De Raedt. Five minutes break for the players Laxus surname called by their coached.
The following days was as look as yesterday. Two successive time we don't have classes, may sakit ang subject teacher namin kaya free time kami for two days... wala pang pumalit na teacher o mag-sub for her subject kaya naman wala ding leksyon. Magkasunod ang oras niya samin at dalawa rin ang subject. I may look thankful but I'm worried too because less knowledge. Wala akong matututunan.
Pumasok ako ng gymnasium kung saan naglalaro na ang team nina Ax, at Xavy. Hindi pa nila alam ang pagpunta ko dahil mukhang seryoso ang laro ngayon. Besides, hindi lang naman ako ang nanonood dito ngayon, kay rami nga eh! Pero halos din ay mga kaklase ko. At ang iba... hindi ko na alam dahil wala naman akong pakialam sa kanila.
“Free time for this day?” I bit my lips as the man sit beside me.
“Do I know you?” I now sip on my lemon orange juice.
“Do you need to? To know me? I guess you'd just blew it after I say so,”
I smirk mockingly, didn't know that there are some guy's must really know me, even the small things or maybe they're caught me in that manner! After introducing themselves I would damned just disregard all of it. I wouldn't care at all. Ever.
“Well, I can say it's your choice!” he's kind of interesting, let me give you a chance.
He smirked handsomely.
“I made you smile. I really thought you are very artistic, they were wrong for describing you that term.” he chuckled.
“Binobola mo pa ako.” nginiwian ko siya ngunit may kasamang malanding ngiti.
“You think I am?” umiling siya at pinanliitan ako ng mga mata.
I laughed sexily. “What?” I ask feeling innocent.
“Ang mali lang siguro sa'yo ay hindi ka marunong maniwala. I never thought we can talk like normal friends, and to see you closer is a dream come true. You're very beautiful than others description that I think your hard to reach.” I don't know if he's telling me some tricks or he's really serious but I find him interesting. “I saw you yesterday here. Pero hindi ako pinalad na lapitan ka.”
He's tall, ngayon ko lang nakita pero parang pamilyar ang mukha niya o kaya naman may kamukhang isang actor. He's cute and handsome.
“Uh-huh!” I twisted my lips playfully at tipid na ngumiti. “I think it's you... who I don't know yet! But if this day won't last I can suggest you better enter showbiz,” tumango-tango pa ako habang paparating ang ngisi niya. “Do you know why?” I laugh. “Coz you're a good actor, good at acting, huh!” I joked so he'll dust his hopes for tricking me habang siya ay humalakhak na.
I put down my things together with the cup I am holding. Umupo ako ng maayos at pinagmasdan si Thorn na may gwapong ngiti sa'kin.
“Mahirap kang mapaniwala. You need more explanation. Very enticing about you.” instead of I stopped him, here we go again.
Tumawa ako at kinagat muli ang labi. “How can I believe you, eh binobola mo parin ako?”
He smiled. “What about getting your number? In case you need someone to date with! someone you can text or call for... you know?” he was smiling the whole time.
I kindly smirked at his cute bugging.
“Meet new guy, Ylyn?” startled with Laxus cold baritone, he's holding a ball clutch on his left arm.
“You're here again?” si Xavier naman. Napabuntong hininga ako.
“Of course! I don't have classes.” I answered properly.
“With that guy?” he jerk his head pointing at Thorn. Breathed heavily in too much exhaustion or may be in other way around?
Umiling ako at lalapit sana kay Ax but in quick manner ipinasa niya ng mabangis ang bola kay Thorn, he do catched it but I know it hits forcefully in his tummy. I got shocked!
“New strange guy was with Ylyn Zamora. Who would think you'd like to chitchat sa kung sino sino lang?”
“Ax,” I was about to explained my sides for giving Thorn a chance to talk to me but..
“Thorn...” pag-papakilala niya with matching shake hands but Ax refute it with sarcastic grinned and terrifying eyes. “Your just a bestfriend of her if I'm not mistaken, right?” he tilted his head catching Laxus's vision with his uplifted brow for approval.
It's a bad row to say that. Fake smile etched in me while biting my lips in fear thinking they might end this fighting! I know Ax! And I have an idea that he doesn't liked what Thorn exclaimed.
At tama ako! Laxus awra changed into beast. Napabuga ako ng hangin and bit my lips artfully. The left side of his lips arosed as long as his deep dimple revealed emphatically.
Nagulat ako nang bigla niya na lang kinwelyuhan si Thorn at nahulog ang bola sa hawak nito. “Be thankful for the chance, man! but to beat me with those fucking words aren't valid to me.”
He dragged him with gritted teeth and in beast mode. I was about to halt him when he suddenly took a one strong punched against Thorn's face the reason Thorn's lips forms blood in it's corner.
“Ax!” Sigaw ko nais s'yang pigilan habang lumalapit kay Thorn ngunit pinagsusuntok niya ito pagkahalandusay sa sahig.
Xavier do his part at inawat si Ax, damned him ni hindi niya man lang hinayaang makasuntok sa kaniya si Thorn. Damned you Laxus! People with their own world shocked at the abrupt gesture of Laxus Salvator. Nagsilingunan sila sa amin at ang mga miyembro'ng kasama nina Xavier ay tumulong narin sa pagpigil sa dalawa. I glimpsed at Thorn who wants to punched Ax back with his clenching fist in so much anger.
Tumayo siya habang hinahaplos ang bibig na may dugo pa. He laugh like there's something funny. “What's your problem, huh? Kaibigan ka lang naman!”
“You shut up man-” he was cut by me.
“Ax!” Hingal kong sabi nang maabot ko ang mga kamay niyang gusto pang sumugod. I run towards them, to him. “Ax, please!”
Hindi siya nakinig kahit tatlo na ang pumipigil sa kaniya, including me standing in front of him pero hindi niya pinapansin.
“Kaibigan ka lang, hindi ka dapat nakikialam,” ani Thorn na hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ayaw din tumigil. He was halt by the players.
Si Laxus na inaawat ko ay gustong gusto pang sumugod.
“Ax, listen to me please!” Hinawakan ko ang magkabilang braso niya para lingunin ako. Aamba pa siyang susugod dahil walang panama and lakas ko, “Ax, please listen to me!”but he didn't listened.
“Friends don't intrude, hindi rin dapat gumagambala!”
“Shut the hell up or I'm gonna fracture every bit of you!” he warned Thorn, furiously.
Ngumisi siyang muli habang hawak ang labing duguan. “I just hope you aren't jealous!” patuyang sabi ni Thorn. Nagulat ako at bakit iyon lumabas sa kaniyang bibig. He grin sarcastically.
Si Laxus na kumawala sa hawak ko ay sumusugod na naman but before he could punched again I halt him with my full force of voice. “Laxus please!” dahilan ng ikinabaling niya at nang lahat sa'kin. “Ax, listen to me. Look at me!...” Namamaos na ang boses ko. “That is! Listen, okay?” Hingal kong sabi dahil sa malakas kong sigaw kanina.
“You calm down, I want you to calm down,” Pumikit ako ng mariin habang kagat-kagat ang nanginginig na labi. Madiin at may galit.
“Damn! Stop biting it!” Bulong-bulong niya. Kumunot ang noo ko ngunit hindi na iyon pinansin pa.
I chased my breath.
“Stop playing around, this isn't funny! He didn't do anything, so could you please stop?!” irritation hit me.
He nodded slowly like he do understand my pleading. While he was looking at my hand gliding through his sturdy chest and the other one is on his left cheek but because of something's I knew it's wrong my hand made it's way fell on his left arm.
I pretended I hadn't noticed. I fell my eyes on the floor, I feel so confused as I close my eyes firmly.
“I don't understand this affection, I feel like it's my duty to follow you no matter what you want me to do!” I gulped at what he said.
I stiffened when my eyes flew in that direction and meet the fire eyes of Xavier staring right into mine. Full of wonderment and weariness, he looked mad na parang hindi rin. Hindi ko maintindihan, halo halo ang emosyon na mahirap makuha o mabasa sa kaniya.
He walked towards me with the same intense etched in his eyes, he hauled my arms very carefully.
“Don't fix this right here, let's get out of here, Ylyn!” Xavier whispered.
Hinarap ko si Laxus habang nakatayo siya't kinukumbinsi ako.
“He was tricking you, Ylyn. Ayokong mabihag ka sa mga paandar niya.” panimula niya, halos hindi makatingin sa akin.
Meanwhile, Xavier was right in front of the door of their room. He dragged me here so that Laxus and I can clarify things he does a while ago. No one is here right now except the three of us.
“So what, Laxus? You shouldn't acted that way!” napailing ako sa sakit ng ulo sa kaniya. “Hindi mo na problema 'yon. Problema ko 'yon. Akin iyon, Laxus!” I scowl at him, marching back and forth.
“Problema ko din 'yon, Ylyn.” he lowered his voice and drifted his eyes on me.
“What?” nginiwian ko siya and make a critical grinned. “Paano mo naging problema iyon, huh? Sige nga, paano?” I was very irritated with what he did but I just winced at him. Roll my eyes naughtily.
Hindi siya sumagot, ginulo niya ang buhok niya at hindi makatingin sa'kin. Xavier was still there in front of the door, seems like he was observing our issues here, but doing nothing.
“Hindi mo dapat pinapangunahan ang problema ko.” tambad kong muli kay Laxus. His eyes were hiding unfamiliar feeling... he's bad mood, but he conceal it with gentle and carefulness.
Kapag kausap niya ako, pinipilit niyang maging mahinahon at kalmado. Hindi ko pa siya kailanman nakitang magalit sa'kin. He's very careful like if he screamed on me I'd be broken into pieces and never going back into toughness. I can see his gentleness when it comes to me, he will never do such things that might pain me unlike when Xavier scream at me so angrily. I got scared and shock at the same time. But, Ax wasn't like that, para siyang batang ayaw maka-apak ng tuyong dahon dahil baka mawasak niya ito at hindi na mababalik muli.
He rose the left side of his lips and his deep dimple reflect. “I bet you didn't notice, he was on the point of his tricks, the last time you've been into fights... ganitong-ganito ang eksena, Ylyn. Playboys were reaching you from the first page to the last and when you give them the chance, ang mga ex's nila ang sumusugod sa'yo. And it's all because you let them court you even though they already have a girlfriend. You let them hold you even though it's forbidden.”
“Damn you Laxus!” sinigawan ko siya sa paraang tama lahat ng tinugon niya. Wala akong ibang maisip kundi magalit sa kaniya, I hate it everytime he throw logical opinions against me.
“How dare you! You punch him just because of that? Tss!” napaawang ang labi ko at kinagat pagkatapos, he watched me doing it, ngumisi lang siya nang nanunuyo.
Dumugo ang gilid ng labi ni Thorn at wala man lang siyang magawa dahil malakas sa kahit sino si Ax, lalo na kay Mr. Ramos at sa iba pang mga guro. I know it is Laxus's fault, he's the bad intruder. But no one wants to beat him, because of his power, and he can tame everyone not only because of his family name but because he was Laxus Ivinn!
And to tell him my problems, I know it will end into war. Nothing will fixed! At kung hindi lang makikinig sakin, nothing will happen. Kagaya na lang ngayon, pinakialaman niya ang love life ko kahit sobrang labag no'n sa kalooban ko. Hindi niya na dapat pinapakialaman ang akin. Alam kong tama siya sa usapang "ang mga ex's", ang dahilan nang sabunutan namin noong minsan ni Jermaine ay tungkol sa ex boyfriend niyang nanliligaw sa'kin. Ex na lang siya pero kung makasumbat ay parang sila pa. Ax has a point, palaging ganoon ang nangyayari sa mga suitors ko, wala pa akong nakitang matino. Everytime I get a boyfriend nauuwi lamang sa gulo. It's always been like this, and it hurts to know that they were just playing around. At ang masakit pa ay ang dami ko nang nakaaway na babae. Palagi kong pinaalalahanan ang sariling huwag magpaligaw sa mga may relasyon na. Pero kung iisipin sino bang mayabang na lalaki ang aamin sa mga kalokohan niya? Wala naman hindi ba?
“Ylyn!” tawag niya nang may pagkukumbinsi at aambang hahawakan ang braso ko. Ngunit nilayo ko iyon bago niya pa magawa.
“It's none of your business, Ax! Mind your own!” galit kong sumbat at tinalikuran siya. Ang totoo, ayoko lang na madamay pa siya, ayoko ring pag-initan siya ng iba.

I feel annoyed by him at sadyang makulit talaga siya.
“Okay fine. I'll forgive you! Pero sa oras na nakialam ka ulit sa love life ko... I'm telling you, Laxus. I will never forgive you again! I swear!” bakit kasi umiinit agad ang ulo pagdating sa manliligaw ko.

Xavier wasn't here since two days. He's with his father's business trip. Sinama siya ni Tito and they were in Manila today. Kaya naman wala siya sa team ng varsity's. It's Monday and the school will having an event for the upcoming assembly. Although, officer's had planned that, isa ako sa mga iyon. That's why they've paid me ten thousand and that was the ticket. Kumuha sila ng pondo ro'n, and they used the basketball's game today for it. The varsity's will definitely having a cluster in other school.
“I thought you're going home?” I dialed Caroline while going to the gym.
She sigh with a hint of laughter in her voice. “Ugh! Still don't know when.”
“Mhm...” I bit my bottom lip. “I need a person who can put my head on her shoulder... just so y-you k-know,”
Humalakhak siya sa linya, and I can imagine her face with that.
“Uh-huh! You miss me? The last time I said I feel lonely and you were just there saying “what a cheap” tapos ngayon, namimiss mo rin pala ako puro ka pakipot, Lyvelle. Kainis ka!” I smirked with her manner, sa lahat ng sinabi niya sa huli lang ako napa isip.
“I'm sorry, Carol. I just don't admit when I miss someone, don't know why too.” umiling ako sa pansarili.
She chuckle again, ang saya niya 'ata. “Well, that's because your too numb to realize at kung hindi man manhid, good at hiding feelings, those deep thoughts of you never been appeared, you're good at wrapping it! Nakakatawa ka, Lyvelle, baka gusto mong umuwi na nga ako agad-agad.”
Umirap ako at umiling iling sabay tawa. “I may acting weird, Caroline, pero totoo ang sinasabi ko na namimiss nga kita, at hindi ka naman pwedeng umuwi that fast, so I completely understand.”
“Mhm. Ano nga palang ginagawa mo?” natanong niya.
“Ayoko sanang lumabas ng room kaso lang pinalabas talaga kami for the game. Ngayon ang laban nina Laxus at iyong mga mananalo sa ticket ngayon din gaganapin.”
“Is that so. Kaya pala napatawag ka, 'dimo kasama ang dalawa?”

“Nasa business trip ba si Xavier kasama ang Dad niya?”

The pronouncement of the event went on and on. May hinanda pa silang mga cheer dancers performed in the middle of the court. I feel so bored at talagang nanood pa ako ng mga ganito. How cheap, nilaro-laro ko na lamang ang mga paa ko, at bumuga ng hangin, nakaupo ako sa ikalawang palapag.
