Elle felt slightly sick when her and Remus arrived at the destination. She frowned noticing that they didn't seem to be anywhere magical. They were faced by a block of houses that seemed completely normal. When her uncle had described the idea of 'headquarters' and 'the order of the Phoenix' she'd imagined something a lot more exciting.
"Ready" Lupin smiled down before he pointed his wand at the houses discreetly and muttered words under his breath. A low rumbling came from the houses themselves and Elle's mouth gasped as she saw they were beginning to move. They were stretching outwards as another house began to appear. Bricks groaned against each other and curtains flapped in the sudden winds but the muggles in the windows hadn't seemed to notice.
By the time the secret house had revealed itself Elle was completely in awe. Remus walked promptly towards the door and Elle hastily followed.
"12 Grimmauld place, also known as headquarters" Lupin states proudly. The door opened and standing behind it was Molly Weasley.
"Elle dear, Remus told us you were coming" she pulled her happily into a hug. Molly smelt like fresh baked goods and Elle hungrily hoped that she had been making some.
The house itself was shabby and old. Covered in dust, it had a muffed smell which Elle couldn't quite describe.
"The meetings going to start when Severus gets here Remus" Molly bustled through the corridor and into the kitchen, Elle followed not knowing what else to do. The idea that Snape was coming certainly didn't bring her any joy but hopefully she'd be able to stay out of his way.
"Would either of you like a cup of tea" both Lupin's politely declined.

Molly opened the door into a large kitchen which has a long table where a bunch of people were sitting around.
On the far left was a muscled ginger Elle knew to be Charlie Weasley, he had cuts and burns over his forearms that he had likely received from working with dragons in Romania. He was dressed casually in a flannel shirt and had a mug of hot tea in his hands.
Next to him was a figure she instantly felt better upon seeing. Theodore Sanders. Also known as Elle's older brother. She hadn't been aware that he would be here but she was definitely happy to see him. He grinned at her which suggested he felt the same. His hair was shorter than last time and he had less prominent shadows under his eyes. He was dressed smartly in a green shirt.
Along from Theo were two women that Elle recognised as teachers from Hogwarts. They were known at the school as the astrology sisters. Elle had only ever been taught by Aurora Sinistra who usually took on the older students. She had her hair in a tight bun and looked more unimpressed that her sister in her bright yellow robes. She had a beautiful face however her frown made Elle feel as though she was in trouble.
Athena was the other sister who was dressed in royal blue velvet robes. Her hair was more unkempt and messy and she had stunning chocolate eyes and a dreamy smile. Elle recalled that one of these sisters had been the reason Angelina had realised she liked girls. Elle assumed that it must be Athena as she seemed a lot more ethereal. She beamed at Remus as he entered.
Along from the sisters was Bill Weasley. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail and he had on display an earring which seemed to be a fang. He wore a dragon hide jacket with matching boots and had a glass of what looked like alcohol sat on the table in front. Bill had always been described as the cooler brother, Elle had met him only briefly but could definitely tell why.
Arthur Weasley was slumped next to his son looking as tired as ever. Arthur had a challenging job at the ministry working with muggle artefacts and seemed to get more tired every time Elle saw him. He too had a glass of what looked like whiskey in front of him and was sloshing the liquid in his glass tentatively.
Next to Arthur was Sirius Black who Elle had hardly recognised at first. He looked better than he had done on the run that's for sure. His black wavy hair was shorter and more bouncy and his face had a lot more colour to it. He had a large smile shown as he saw his old friend Remus enter the room and seemed to have a mischievous glint in his eye that reminded Elle of the twins.
Another woman was standing by a back door humming to herself. She had vivid pink hair and a heart shaped face. Her features were sharp and she was dressed in muggle clothes. Elle would describe how she looked as cool and definitely got great vibes from this woman.
At the end of the table sat another woman that Elle didn't recognise. She was casually slumped in her chair with her feet on the table. She was wearing heavy black boots which matched the rest of her incredibly dark clothes. Her eyes were shadowed and she had choppy brown short hair. She held a bottle of whiskey tightly in her hand and winked at Elle as she looked over. The girl couldn't help but notice that beside he chair there was a black baseball bat propped up.
Elle frowned at confusion at the final woman who didn't seem bothered.
"Ah Elle the twins are upstairs" Molly beamed, Elle nodded politely before turning back to the two women she didn't know. She was about to exit the room when one of them spoke out.
"You're Remus' niece aren't you" she turned to see that girl with her feet on the table gazing at her.
"yeah i am" She looked to her uncle to was looking slightly uneasy all of a sudden.
"I'm Kennedy, Kennedy Vulpes" the girl extended a hand. She was wearing fingerless leather gloves. She shook the woman's hand.
"i went to school with moony, and padfoot here" She winked at Sirius who smirked.
"He never mentioned" Elle smiled awkwardly not knowing what to say,
"that's because we haven't seen her for fourteen years" Sirius barked with laughter "thought it would be funny to run away"
Elle moved her gaze up to the woman humming by the door,
"Tonks" she smiled also extending her arm.
"nice to meet you" Elle smiled, she definitely felt more relaxed around Tonks than Kennedy.

Everyone seemed hushed an secretive about what was going on so Elle decided to go upstairs and find the twins. The staircases were more coated in dust that the hallway. Portraits lined the walls and Elle got startled by the head of an moose sticking out the wall.
She heard muttering voices behind a door and opened it expecting to see a Weasley. Instead she was greeted by an ugly small creature that the brunette knew to be a house elf.
"filthy blood in my mistresses house" he muttered. Elle stumbled back and continued up the stairs. This particular house elf gave her the creeps.
She was sure she had nearly reached the top of the house when a voice rang out. She recognised it immediately. Elle threw the door open and two red heads swung their heads to see who had walked in.
The expressions on their faces were priceless. They obviously didn't know she was coming. Elle almost faltered upon seeing them. Their long hair was gone and they were now sporting short hair cuts which definitely suited them perfectly.
Fred and George were wearing matching shirts with green stripes on them. They looked to many eyes completely identical however Elle could tell the difference perfectly.
"Elle?" George gasped as she rushed towards him and threw her arms round his neck. He swung her around happily before she turned to his brother and hugged him tightly.
"we didn't know you were coming" George grinned.
"great surprise though" Fred beamed "we've started developing products".
Fred and George were keen to open up a joke shop. It had been their ambition for a while and Elle knew that they could do it brilliantly. So far their best products had been canary creams and ton ton toffees.
Elle gazed up at George trying to get used to his new haircut. She ran her fingers through it gingerly,
"do you like it?" he murmured,
"mum forced us to get it cut, says she doesn't want us to end up like Bill" he rolled his eyes.
"i think it really suits you" Elle smirked.
"come have a look at these" Fred called, breaking the moment between George and Elle. They walked over to a large wooden box which had Weasley and Weasley printed on the front in gold lettering.
"the beginning of the Skiving Snack-boxes" Fred nodded proudly.
"so far we've only perfected the puking pastille's" George explained.
"why would someone want that" Elle laughed.
"well just think, lessons going really badly... take one of these are you'll immediately be sent to the hospital wing" George explained.
"ahhh clever" Elle admitted.
The three sat down on the floor and began talking about the order of the phoenix. Elle didn't really know anything about it but she learnt it was all because of Voldemort's return.
"what did you think of Tonks?" Fred beamed,
"we think she's great... she's a Metamorphmagus"
"what's that?"
"someone who can change their appearance at their will" George continued "she usually just uses it to change her hair colour but sometimes she does cooler things".
"no wonder he hair was so brilliantly pink" Elle pondered "i would love that ability"
"you're perfect the way you are" George grinned before he noticed that Fred was making gagging noises behind him.
"fair enough" George shrugged.
"what about that Kennedy girl?" Elle changed the conversation,
"ah only met her briefly but she seems cool... intimidating but cool"
"why does she have a base ball bat, surely that's a muggle thing?"
"she's a pure blood i know that much" Fred shrugged "maybe she just likes it"
"she's definitely weird" George shuddered "and she's staying here"

hola, so i introduced some new characters in this chapter. Although they do have a role in this book I'm planning on writing a marauders era fanfic where these characters are included (specifically Kennedy and Athena)
Aurora Sinistra was actually in the harry potter books but i've decided to make her a larger role.
Just thought i'd put updates in this book about the other one (which i haven't started yet) obviously if you're not interested then it doesn't matter lmao.
Anyhoo just thought i'd explain why I keep adding so many characters:)
