Gulf's POV

It have been a month since I started living with my boss, we keep ignoring each other but at least we stopped fighting like kids, we only talked about work mostly, since that interview, I received calls none stop about setting other interviews and photo shoots but of course I rejected them all except for a couple of ones that the chairman assigned.
Not bickering made everything become peaceful for me, my stress level decreased, getting ignored is better than yelling and calling each other names, but when I glance at him while working it make me feel a little sad for him, he looks so lonely like a little chick that got lost from his mother, is it because of what happened with his girlfriend that he decided to distant himself? I don't know the exact truth of what happened except from what I heard in that interview.
Well I'm not any better, I also keep being on guard with any person and can't completely trust my friend who have been with me since forever but becoming this mean because he broke up with a girlfriend is too much, whatever I don't care.
I got back to work, focusing on the reports in front of me when suddenly two man wearing black tuxedo and black glasses came closer, behind them a man who looked so rough wearing all black, ripped jeans, a shirt and a long coat and holding suitcase, next to him was a little kid wearing a backpack and looked so scared
"I'm here to meet your boss" he said with a harsh voice, just seeing them made me remember for a moment the loan sharks and shivered but then I sighed
"may I know who you are sir?" I asked formally
"no need for you to know" he gave a sign with head as one of them stepped closer to the door, I quickly jumped blocking his way
"I'm sorry sir, you can't come in without an appointment or without my boss's permission" but the man signed again as the other bodyguard came closer and the next thing I know I was down on the floor in the middle of the office
"what's going on here?" the CEO stood up in shock
"I don't know them, they forced their way in" he glanced to me for a moment than back to the man who just walked in, I looked wide eyes at Mew who was frozen and speechless, it was the first time seeing him make that kind of expression
"I will call the guards" I stood up and was about to leave
"no need, I know this bastard" he said as his expression turned into pure wrath, he didn't even look like that when we fought, I kept standing not knowing whether if I should leave or not
"it has been almost 9 years since we last met you shitty brat"
"why the fuck did you come here? " the one who looked like a mafia boss smirked evilly
"I'm here to deliver this burden your bitch sister left before running away"
"I have nothing to do with her or you so take that brat and leave"
"and I don't care what you do to this kid, it was your sister fault for getting pregnant even though I told her I don't want kids but she still kept him *chuckled* she got tired of him soon after though and two months ago she ran away with someone else to America"
"why are you telling this boring story? That girl is not my sister anymore, you do whatever you want with him, hurry up and leave" I was standing like a status listening to those bastard talking about an innocent young boy who obviously was looking scared and holding back his tears, the mafia man pushed the suitcase a little along with the boy
"look here shitty boy, I'm not asking for a favor here, I'm leaving this brat here and you do whatever you want with him
"and I clearly said that he is unwanted here you bastard so you do whatever you want with him" feeling blood rushing to my brain I stepped taking the suitcase and the boy holding him behind me while everyone starred at me
"both of you are nuts, you are the worst human being on earth, how could you talk about an innocent boy like that, treating him like some unwanted thing, I will take him" I knelt down facing the boy who starred at me with surprise
" what's your name?"
"p-Por" he faintly said with fear in his voice that made me feel so sad for him
"I'm Gulf, would you like living with me from now on?" the boy looked around so terrified
"don't be scared, I'm here, you can just say whatever you want" I assured him ruffling his hair a little as he nodded slightly with tears forming into his eyes I hugged him tightly
"you can leave now, and don't ever come back for him" I glared saying to the mafia boss who glared back and walked out followed by his body guards
"are you insane?! We live together!!! You are bringing him back to my house?!" the still angry boy shouted as I stood up hiding Por behind me
"I will take responsibility over him so it's none of your business, as soon as I move out of your place I will take him wi-"
"that won't happen!!!" I was cut off by the chairman voice who rushed inside, he looked to the boy who was trembling holding my leg then back to Mew
"he is her son?"
"that's what I was told" the old man sighed looking to me
"after work, take that kid and Mew to the hospital and do a DNA test, we will discuss what we will do after the results is out"
"yes sir" without saying another word the old man glanced at this kid again and then left
"this isn't happening" the angry CEO fell back on his chair as I took the kid out, I bought him food and kept him by my side until work hours are over, after doing the DNA test, we were informed that the results will be out in two days.

The results are out on Saturday, we all went were sitting in the living room in Mew's house while the chairman was the one to open the folder, he went silence for a couple of minute while I was holding Por's hand, for the past two days, I kept taking care of him and even took him to work, he was so well behaved that made me think he was not a little kid, he was very obedient and didn't talk much.
"so, what's the results grandfather?" the restless man asked, the old man looked at us
"he is a part of our family, he is really your nephew" I watched as Mew fell back in his place while I looked to Por who was still confused
"you're not alone, you have an uncle and a grandfather too"
"I don't approve of him as a nephew, he is just a stranger to me" I glared at him feeling enraged
"how could you say that out loud, even if you don't like him, keep it to yourself and keep your mouth shut" I said as he ignored me looking away
"actually Gulf, we have some problems with his mother and..." the old man sighed
"I don't care what your problems with her is, this child is innocent, he didn't choose to be born in this family, he has nothing to do with your problems, well it doesn't matter if you accept him or not because I promised I will take care of him" I looked to the sad boy and made him look at me
"don't worry Por, I promise I will be with you forever, I would be happy to have a cute and obedient son like you, I also don't have any family so let's stay together for a very long time" the innocent boy jumped hugging me burying his face into my chest as I could feel his raining tears.
When I first saw him, I saw myself into him, I never cared about anyone before but I just couldn't ignore this child, he's eyes looked like he was begging for help, he looked like he was living in hell, he was in a worst situation than I was and I couldn't ignore his pleading terrified sad eyes, I don't know anything about him or his circumstances but I know that my heart, for the first time after so many years, is telling me to save protect and take care of this little boy.
I smiled hugging him gently and patting his back wanting to assure him that he will be safe from now on, he was small between my hands and he looked thin, he suffered a lot even though he is only 4 years old and obviously was not loved so I'm going to give him a lot of love until he get tired of it
"are you really wiling to take care of him Gulf?" the chairman asked
"yes, I don't even mind adopting him as a son" grandfather looked a bit surprised
"aren't you curious about his real family?"
"no, I know that they don't want him so I don't care about anything else as long as they leave him alone, I will be his family from now on if Por wants to" I said looking to the short kid
"yes, I wand Gulf to be papa" he said so innocently tears still his little red cat-like eyes I smiled hugging him again
"then from now on call me papa" I know how it feel to be unwanted, abused and left by your parents, how hard it is to find someone to help you, especially as little kid that's why I want to protect him and help him
"thank you Gulf, I'm so grateful that you are here, as an old man I don't have the ability to raise a child anymore and as you can see my grandson is being childish so please take care of Por for us, I will support financially and help you"
"grandfather!!!" Mew yelled as the old man glared at him
"as Gulf said, he is a little kid and have nothing to do with adults problems, no matter how much hate you have toward your sister, don't pour it on an innocent boy, can't you see that Por also suffered because of his bad family, he didn't even had a good parents like yours so at least be good to him and act like a real adult, as his uncle, stop being childish already Mew!" I could tell that the chairman words hit Mew like thunder; he looked shocked glancing at Por who was silent next to me
" don't worry grandfather, I will take a good care of Por, I promise" I smiled as the old man smiled back, he asked Por to come closer who did and was hugged by his grandfather
"you suffered a lot my dear, you can be happy from now" the thin boy cried again hugging him back
"I'm sorry Gulf for dragging you into family matters"
"it's alright, I'm happy that I met you grandfather" we both smiled as Por came back closer to me
"oh one more thing" the old man said before leaving
"Gulf please don't move out of here, I want Por to grew up in a good environment and be close to us too, ignore this grandson of mine and just living here with your new son" he is right, Por need to grow up in a good place that I won't be able to afford, no matter what he should also stay near his real family, I nodded
"alright, I promise I won't until everything becomes better between the uncle and the nephew" I was waiting for a 'never' or 'stupid' or anything from my boss but he kept silent which surprised me
"thanks a lot, I keep forcing you to do many things, I'm a selfish old man, I'm sorry"
"please don't apologize, I'm doing all this of my own accord, so don't worry" the chairman smiled again and left.
Since that day, I've been pouring all my attention at Por, I enrolled him at a close kindergarten, took care of his meals and even goes to play out during weekends, I introduced him to Mild who was shocked when he called me Papa
"Gulf, you're the worst, you should have told me if you already had a wife" he said while we sat watching Por running around in the playground
"stupid, when will I get married, we were always together since middle school"
"that's right and you always had to work, then how did you give birth to him?" he giggled
"stop joking, I don't know the details but he is that stupid's nephew and he is left alone so I offered to take care of him"
"you seem so attached to the kid like he is your own son"
"because I saw myself in him, he was unwanted by both his parents and was even thrown away by his father, even his uncle keeps ignoring him, I just felt that I need to help and save him" my friend smiled patting on my shoulder
"you are so kind brother, I'm happy that you found someone you want to take care of him even if he is a child, of course I will support you and help you, feel free to call me anytime, I don't mind being a babysitter" I thanked Mild who went to play with Por while I took a few pictures of them before joining them in the sandbox.
I'm so thankful for having such amazing and supportive friend, makes me feel guilty for being a little suspicious of him but I really wish that Mew would at least open up to his innocent nephew so that he won't be lonely anymore, I think I'm wishing for the impossible, he is a heartless man who keeps ignoring everyone.
