This book is so poorly written lol and very very dramatic. My other books are much better I swear 😂🤦♀️
She stood in front of the slightly foggy bathroom mirror and looked at the reflection in front of her. There were circles under eyes from lack of sleep and bruises on her wrist, the memory of last week which she has been pushing back for what felt like forever came flooding back up and tears rolled down her cheeks.
**flash back**
"Taylor where the fuck are you stupid slut?!"
Adam shouted as he walked through the front door, his words slurred and lips curled into a smile.
" what the hell adam, where the hell were you?" She had the courage to shout back
The first few months of their relationship everything was perfect but as time went on Adam started to go out and get drunk and sleep around with whoever would agree. He was always rude and sometimes even verging on aggressive but had never ever been
this bad before.
"Taylor honey? Come here please!"
She held her breath and she walked slowly down the stairs
"Adam please stop this if you don't stop drinking then I'll have to leave. I mean you've left me no choice, you leave for weeks, sleep with every model you meet and then come back screaming at me before expecting me to sleep with you. I can't do it"
He grabbed her wrists tight making her try to pull away, tears welling in her eyes, but his grip continued to tighten to the point where she was sobbing from the pain.
"Oh come on don't think I don't know that you've been fucking other guys slut?"
"Seriously I wouldn't ever do that, you know that" she cried
"Lair." He whispered an inch from her face, she could now smell the alcohol on his breath.
He slapped her hard across the face leaving a red mark and slammed her against the nearest wall, his grip still strong. He started to feel around her body with one hand, the other on her wrist. He started groping and feeling her with her begging for him to stop, squirming under him and using all her strength to try and push him off.
"Ok now get on that bed and let me fuck you"he whispered
His words sunk her heart which would have seemed Impossible seeing as how he treated her but the truth was that she still loved him and the what he was doing broke her heart.
"No. No no please Adam leave me alone!!" She managed to whisper his weight pushing her against the wall
"I wasn't asking bitch" he pushed her onto the bed but she got up ran down the stairs and got into her car.
The driver looked at her in horror, she hadn't realised how bad she looked before she went and was now sitting in the back seat with her top hanging of her shoulder, tears streaming down her face and a read mark of her cheek.
"Please just take me to my apartment." She asked politely in response to the question she knew he was about to ask
"Ok miss" he replied with pity all over his face
She buried her head in her hands and silently cried. Up until now she thought that they could save their relationship but clearly that wasn't the case.
** end of flashback **
She put on her long sleeved shoulder-less dress and applied natural makeup to cover her marks. Her hair was bleached. Adam hated it. Then she walked down stairs and took her medicine for her anxiety hoping that it would stop her hands shaking before she arrived. She hadn't told anyone about her anxiety except Adam because the first day she brought them back he found the pill on the counter that she was about to take, the reason she never said was because of his reaction, he never let it go, always using it as a reason to call her insane. she got in the car and drove off to the met gala
