After hearing those words leave his lips, you couldn't help but frown as you looked up at your hyungs in confusion
Jungkook: Wait-.. Sabotaged?
They nodded slowly and looked at each other, worried expressions painting their faces
Jimin: They don't know who did it, but someone tried to make sure you wouldn't make it back out from that second test Jungkook...
Hoseok: Those kelps weren't supposed to do anything to you, yet they tried to drown you...
A huff of disbelief left your lips as you tried to process what they just had told you, ruffling your wet locks gently as you subtly looked around the arena
Would that person really go as far as killing me...?
Jungkook: Hah now this? I don't understand what that person has against me...
Yoongi raised an eyebrow as he looked down at you, clearly having heard what you had mumbled under your breath just now
Yoongi: Jungkook... Has something else happened that you're not telling us about?
You flinched lightly as you raised your gaze to look up at them, not having expected anyone to hear anything, before shrugging softly as you fidgeted with your hands and uttered out a soft response
Jungkook: I've just been getting some notes in my locker trying to scare me, that's all...
Hoseok: And you haven't told us?! Jungkook!?
A sigh left your lips as you shrugged once more, holding on to the warm towel wrapped around your figure as you leaned back in your seat
Jungkook: They were just stupid taunts and threats, I don't even think these two are connected hyung... And besides, I'm sure they'll stop now since I didn't make it on the top 10...
Jimin let out a soft ''Uhm actually...'' as he grinned and gently poked your arm before pointing up towards the scoreboard
Jimin: ...You made it Jungkook, one of the students cheated and was eliminated.
Your eyes trailed over to the big scoreboard inside the arena, currently displaying the top 10 students with the highest scores who would be competing against each other in the final test, and widened your eyes in shock seeing your name listed amongst them, you had barely made it... but you did!
You couldn't help but bite back a proud grin as you mumbled softly to yourself
''Hah suck it Kim... Told you I'd meet you in the finals...''
Feeling a proud happiness bubble up in your chest knowing you made it against the many odds, you excitedly stood up from your seat as you looked at your hyungs happily
Jungkook: Oh my god hyung I made it!? You should've told me earlier I need to go change!
Just as you were just about to scurry off towards the changing rooms, Yoongi stopped as he flashed you a hesitant and worried look
Hoseok: Jungkook... be careful okay? We're really worried...
You smiled reassuringly as you patted his shoulder and looked at them all
Jungkook: I'll be fine hyung, I promise. Just meet me where the final test will be held!
Before they could say anything else, you swiftly made your way out of the arena and down the hallway towards the changing rooms, only to eventually stop in your tracks as you were met by an all too familiar face stopping right in front of you, both of you exchanging threatening looks of annoyance with each other as he spoke up tauntingly
Taehyung: Oh well that's surprising, you didn't die?
A bored huff left your lips as you crossed your arms, smirking up at him whilst speaking in a teasing tone
Jungkook: Oh don't sound too happy now Kim, I told you I'd come to beat you in the duels after all.
He rolled his eyes and smirked whilst leaning down closer to your face, tone dropping a few octaves as his dark eyes stared at you intensely
Taehyung: Sure thing, just don't cry when you lose against me Jeon
Now it was your turn to roll your eyes as you reached up and patted his shoulder, looking up at him as you acted unbothered by his words
Jungkook: Likewise...
After giving him one more teasing smirk, you walked off and headed into the changing rooms. But the moment you got inside you immediately leaned against the door, letting out a shaky breath as you placed your hand over your rapidly beating heart whilst mumbling to yourself
Jungkook: F-fuck... Pull yourself together Jungkook...

Once you finished changing into your spare uniform, you hurried back to the arena were now waiting with your hyungs for the 3rd and final test to begin.
You bit the inside of your cheek as you looked around, seeing the other 9 students who had made it to the top 10 preparing themselves to go into the final test, and god it sure as hell didn't help you relax knowing they were among the top 10 for a reason.
Meanwhile, you were there out of pure dumb luck...
Hoseok: Jungkook look at us, think of this as any other duel class. You're good at this, don't think about anything else, everything will be okay so-
The speakers soon went off, interrupting Hoseoks words as they directed you all to get into your positions, so you flashed them a soft smile letting out a ''Wish me luck...'' and waved before heading over to your platform, waiting for the instructions to continue
''Welcome to the 3rd and final test for today, you will be teleported to a dueling room shortly.
Use your powers and wands to defeat your opponent, once one duel is completed the winning party will immediately be teleported to their next opponent until we have a winner.
Good luck''
You closed your eyes as you were teleported into one of the dueling rooms as soon as the announcement ended, it was painfully quiet as you slowly moved forward scanning your surroundings attentively before taking cover behind library shelves.
Carefully listening for any sound of movement as you had your wand out and ready to begin the fight, after a while, you subtly peaked over the shelf and instantly yelled out a ''Stupefy!'' as you directed the spell towards the figure you saw swiftly moving in between the shelves
The opponent wasted no time as he fired back at you with the Confringo curse making the bookshelf you were hiding behind practically explode, so you hurried off taking cover again behind a pillar as you fired back at him, aiming at the books on the shelves next to him as you flicked your wand making them all come flying down onto him.
Without giving it a second thought you immediately took this opportunity to disarm him quickly before he could get up
Jungkook: Expelliarmus!
After successfully disarming him and catching his wand, you bowed smiling at him and then dropping his wand onto the ground as you got teleported off to the next room immediately starting the next duel.
The room was entirely different this time, it was a dark hallway inside an abandoned warehouse... You slowly moved forward, ready to fire away once you located your next opponent
And your breath hitched from surprise as you swiftly managed to block a curse being fired towards you from behind a pillar, followed by some taunting laughter
?: Come on fight me properly, dont make it too easy for me to win
You rolled your eyes as you fired back at him, making him focus on blocking your spells as you ran over taking cover behind another pillar
Jungkook: Speak for yourself, come out and stop hiding bastard!
A gasp left your lips as he suddenly fired an Expulso curse at you, sending you flying backwards into the wall which painfully knocked the air out of your lungs
?: It's hilarious to see you try this hard... You filthy mudblood...
Upon hearing the familiar and taunting slur, you instantly felt your blood drain from your face as you got up gritting your teeth
Jungkook: It's you..! You put those notes in my locker, didn't you?!
He laughed as you fired multiple spells at him, feeling your blood boil out of anger but also fear
?: Come on fight back properly, its obvious you don't have-
To prevent him from completing that sentence in front of everyone possibly watching this fight from the arena, you swiftly fired the Expulso curse back at him, sending him flying backwards before you mercilessly continued firing different curses towards him
Jungkook: Shut up!
He clearly got taken aback by how strongly you started fighting back, so he kept blocking the curses you threw his way as he hid behind a pillar once again, making you huff as you yelled out to him in a taunting manner
Jungkook: Come out you coward!!!
?: IM GONNA MAKE YOU REGRET THAT SENTENCE!
An eerie laugh left his lips as he fired the Confringo curse towards you, so you swiftly took cover behind some stacked sandbags as you kept firing curses right back at him, all whilst avoiding the curses he threw at you, but just as you got up to run off before he completely destroyed the little that was left of your cover, you heard him yell out ''Sectumsempra!''

Before you were able to react, you felt yourself get hit and let out a loud pained scream as you fell to your knees touching your chest, seeing your trembling hand get covered in blood in an instant.
The big and deep cuts across your chest sent an excruciating pain throughout your whole upper body, shaky and hitched breaths leaving your lips as you completely collapsed onto the ground whilst the blood painted your white uniform shirt a dark crimson.
He snorted and you certainly didn't miss his proud smirk before you both were teleported back to the arena, students immediately gasping finally realizing the severity of the situation, some even screaming in fear after seeing the amount of blood surrounding you on the floor.
Your vision began to blur and fade in and out as you only saw the silhouettes of people hurrying over towards you, the distant noise of people yelling out your name making your ears ring as every breath felt too painful to bare
Jimin: J-Jungkook- stay with us-!
A forced and soft smile painted your lips as you carefully reached up towards where the voice was coming from, feeling him hold your hand as he sniffled meanwhile you shivered and whimpered softly in pain, a few tears slowly rolling down your cheeks as you tiredly tried to reassure them
Jungkook: I'm o-okay silly.. I'll just.. s-sleep for a l-ittle until they b-bandage me up...
You could hear your hyungs voices that desperately were calling out to you begin to fade as you let out hitched and shaky breaths, feeling your body tense in pain with every breath.
Slowly losing your internal fight in trying to stay awake, before your hand slowly dropped from Jimin's grasp as everything just went black...
