"Constantine did it." Charlie says. "He changed the timeline back in New Orleans. He saved old Dez." Zari-Cat meows. "Unfortunately, I have no idea why you're a cat, Z. Or you're a bunny..." She says, looking at Brooklyn and Maddie in bunny form. Bunny-Brooke huffs. "Oh, quit your whinging. I know it's a pretty raw deal for you three. Especially 'cause... Well, who knows what they put in animal food. On the plus side you three are cute as hell." Charlie squats in front of the three animals so she is eye level with them. "Z, B, baby M, it has been an experience. Now, I'm gonna set the autopilot to take you back to the Waverider, but first we're gonna drop me off somewhere fabulous."
Charlie takes control of the jump ship and flies

The Custodians of the Chronology...starring everyone's favorite legends
"Man, Garima is gonna flip when she hears we met Marilyn Monroe." Ray exclaims as him and Nate walk into the waverider's cargo bay
"Do you think a murderous alien queen that sprang to life from Mick's fantasies is into Marilyn?" Nate asks
"Yes." Mick says, walking in
"Hmm." Nate shrugs
The three leave the cargo bay and in creeps Charlie
"What is up with these guys?" Charlie mumbles to herself
Charlie walks through the hallway
Ray, Mick, Garima, and Nate walk into the parlor
"Gideon, any messages while we were gone?" Nate asks
"You missed calls from Barry Allen, Oliver Queen, and Kara Zor-El." Gideon announces
"Sounds like the annual crossover." Ray says
"Yeah, that's gonna be a hard pass." Nate says. "Did I tell you Oliver owes me money?"
Charlie walks through the hallways
The sound of a cat meowing catches her attention
Charlie walks into the library where Zari-Cat and Bunny-Brooke were on the desk. Bunny-Maddie rests asleep on top of Bunny-Brooke
"Oh, Zari. Brooklyn." Charlie greets them. "Well, I'm glad to see that you made it back to the ship okay." Zari-Cat hisses. "Okay, I hear you. You're still mad at me. Listen, I really need your guys' help." Zari-Cat and Bunny-Brooke share a look before Zari-Cat meows. "All right, yeah, I can see that being animals is your main concern right now, but I still don't know why you're an animal."
"Ms. Tomaz, Miss Cooper, and Miss Madelyn were turned into animals during the team's encounter with a Fairy Godmother." Gideon tells Charlie in hologram human form
"Whoa, Gideon, your latest upgrade, smoking." Charlie says
"Thank you, Miss Jiwe." Gideon says
"Amaya Jiwe, yup, that's me." Charlie says
"And may I say your new upgrade and accent are also smoking." Gideon tells her
"Oh, yeah." Charlie says. "You know, I'm just trying something out."
Zari-Cat meows as Bunny-Brooke flips her ears, both in attempts to get Charlie's attention
"Yeah, okay, one last question." Charlie says to Gideon, noticing her friends' signals. "Why are the Legends homicidal w*nk*rs now?"
"If you're referring to the Custodians of the Chronology, their policy towards magical creatures has been shoot on sight since their disastrous encounter at Woodstock." Gideon says
"Right. Thanks, Gideon." Charlie says
Gideon disappears
"Must be fallout from Constantine altering the timeline." Charlie says. "Right, this zero tolerance bollocks ends now."
Charlie shapeshifts into Sara
Charlie-Sara walks into the bridge
"Hey, people!" Charlie-Sara exclaims. "I have an announcement to make. Please, gather around. Come listen." Ray, Garima, Mick, and Nate stare at her as she talks. "So I know our shoot-first, ask-questions-never policy has lead to some interesting decorations, but it's time to change. From now on we are going to capture the magical creatures and bring them to the Bureau like we are supposed to. Why are you looking at me weird?"
"Well, just seems like a shame to change our policy now." Ray says. "Considering we're so close to capturing our white whale."
"That's a Moby Dick reference." Nate says
"And what is your white whale?" Charlie-Sara asks
"The only creature we haven't been able to capture because it's quite elusive" Ray says. "Maybe because it has the ability to change shape."
"Shapeshifter!" Mick accuses Charlie-Sara as the others pull their weapons on her
"How dare you step on this ship and pretend to be our dead captain." Nate says
"What? Wait, Sara's dead?" Charlie-Sara asks, surprised
"Yeah, that's why we know you're not Sara." Ray says
"Is that why you guys are like this?" Charlie-Sara asks
"Like what?" Nate asks
"Hunting down magical creatures like it's a--" Charlie-Sara didn't get to finish her sentence because Garima had rammed a sword through her back
"Yes!" Mick exclaims
"Damn it, Garima. I called dibs on killing shapeshifter last week." Ray says
Garima pulls the sword out from Charlie-Sara's back and Charlie-Sara falls dead to the ground
"You know what?" Nate says. "He did. You remember when we were roasting that little baby Gryphon, which was delicious, by the way, but you guys got into an argument about who actually killed it, so then Ray got upset and he was like, 'Hey, I wanna kill the shapeshifter.'" Charlie gets up and runs. "Oh, it heals itself and turns into Amaya. This is not good."
"Kill her again!" Mick yells
"I get to kill her this time!" Ray says
"After her!" Nate yells
Charlie runs down the hallway
A cat meowing catches her attention
"Zari." Charlie whispers. "Oh, bollocks."
Charlie puts Zari-Cat and Bunny-Brooke along with Bunny-Maddie into a pink animal carrier backpack
Charlie makes her way to the jumpship and flies away with the three animals out of the backpack and on the seat next to her
"They've become maniacs." Charlie says. "Okay, this is bad." Bunny-Brooke flaps her ears and Charlie watches. "What, Constantine? Yes, this is his fault. He needs to help us fix this, but where is he?"
Zari-Cat touches the computer screen and a location pops up
"Nice work, Zari cat." Charlie says
...Charlie flies the jump ship to the Time Bureau and puts the three animals back into the backpack. She walks through the Bureau but gets stared at by someone...
"I can't very well walk around here looking like this." Charlie mutters. She looks at a picture of Gary and shapeshifts. Zari-Cat meows. "Oh, hush, it's still me despite the insane grin on my face." Charlie-Gary walks through the hallways and sees a plaque of Sara. "I don't remember there being a memorial here. Sara Lance struck down by unicorn. Bollocks."
Hank walks in
"Gary, you're late." Hank says
"Uh, sorry, Mr. Heywood, my animal-sitter quit on me, so..." Charlie-Gary says, gesturing to the backpack
"This place is going to hell in a hand basket." Hank mutters
"Yeah, it's my bad, sir." Charlie-Gary says
"Look, the Custodians of the Chronology just destroyed a freaking leprechaun!" Hank says through his teeth. "All right, you know what? If you see them, tell them they're getting a scream-down from me."
Hank turns to leave
"Oh, one more thing, Mr. Heywood." Charlie-Gary says. "Have you seen John Constantine around?"
"Is that a joke?" Hank asks, annoyed. "He's been in confinement for months. You put him there." Hank turns to leave. "Idiots."
"Right." Charlie-Gary whispers
...in his Bureau confinement cell, Constantine is mumbling crazily to himself...
"This isn't the when... when I'm supposed to be." Constantine mumbles. "No, the truth is not the truth! All right, this is not the when when I'm supposed to be. Reality is fractured, but the pieces, they speak to each other like light between broken mirrors."
"John Constantine." Charlie says with a tablet, standing outside his confinement. "Confined for becoming dangerously unstable after suspected time crimes."
"Are you real?" Constantine asks as Charlie walks over. "Do you exist? Because it's really hard to tell these days."
"Yup, bloke's gone cuckoo." Charlie says
Charlie takes the backpack off and Constantine sees the animals
"I sense a familiar face." Constantine says. "Who are they?" Zari-Cat meows. "Z, Is that you? And Brooklyn's the bunny? Why the transmogrification? Let's get this sorted out." Constantine says, reaching into the bag and pulling a piece of hair from each animal. Zari-Cat winces and Bunny-Maddie whimpers. "Yeah, all right, I'm sorry, but this is the only way that you will know your true self."
Constantine chants a spell
Zari, Brooklyn, and Maddie turn into their normal human selves. Brooklyn holds Maddie to her chest, bouncing her gently up and down to stop her whimpering
"Oh, finally." Brooklyn whispers, holding her baby close to her
Zari starts coughing and then hacks up a hairball
"Hairball." Zari growls, looking at Charlie and Constantine. "Because of you dicks, we have been animals for so long. Do you know where this tongue has been? Places."
"I wasn't sure that reversal was gonna work because I've been feeling a little, you know, insane lately." Constantine says
"Yeah, well, you only have yourself to blame." Zari says
"Wait, what?" Constantine asks
"You created a time wave when you changed your past with Desmond." Zari starts
"And because you're the epicenter, your experience of this timeline and that one both exist in your brain." Brooklyn finishes
"Just give me a break here." Constantine says. "All right, what you're trying to say is that I broke time?"
Zari and Brookyln share a look before looking back at Constantine
"Yes." Zari and Brooklyn say in unison
"Back in New Orleans." Brooklyn says
"Sure, you don't have to live with the guilt of damning Desmond, but you also never joined the Legends." Zari says
"Without John's help with the unicorn at Woodstock, Sara died, which made the Legends into killers." Charlie says. "Well, there's only one way to fix this."
"We go to back to Woodstock and we save Sara." Constantine says
"Yeah." Charlie says
"No!" Zari protests
"What's wrong with you guys? You're not listening to us." Brooklyn says
"You have to go to New Orleans and set history back on track." Zari says
"Whoa, whoa, Z, B." Charlie says. "You're suggesting a total reset of the timeline. What we need is a surgical strike. Now, if we save Sara, then the Custodians of the Chronology never exist. I keep my powers, Dez is de-demoned, Bob's your uncle."
"I'm sorry, guys." Zari says. "We have to stop you before you before you make this any worse."
Constantine pulls a strand of hair from Zari's head
"Ow!" Zari exclaims
Brooklyn tries to leave but Charlie grabs hair from her and Maddie's heads too. Maddie starts crying again and Brooklyn gives Charlie a glare
Constantine chants, turning the three back into animals
"All right, then." Constantine says. "I'm sorry, loves." He says, grabbing the animals from the ground. "Until you two can learn to stay out of my way, then you three...are animals."
Constantine puts the animals in the backpack and zips it up. Charlie shoulders the backpack
"In the mood for a prison break?" Charlie asks
"Oh, yes I am." Constantine says
Charlie and Constantine open the door to the confinement and Charlie looks around the hallway
"Is the coast clear?" Constantine asks
Something clanks and they look over to see Mona
"How much of that did you hear?" Charlie asks her
"Uh... nothing at all." Mona says. "Nothing about breaking out or hacking history. Please don't turn me into an animal."
"Well, I didn't turn them into animals." Constantine says. "I returned them into being animals, which is considerably easier, believe me."
"But if you gotta, maybe a Calico and real fluffy. Ooh, actually, I wanna be a bunny." Mona says. "Okay, I'm ready. Do it."
"What are we gonna do with her?" Charlie asks
"I have no idea." Constantine says
"You don't have to do anything." Mona says. "I wanna help."
"You do?" Charlie asks
"The Custodians of the Chronology must be stopped." Mona says. "They turned my Kaupe friend into a rug. So if you're trying to defeat them, I want in."
...Charlie-Gary and Mona walk down the hallway with Constantine hiding in a janitor cart...
"Oy, watch the bumps, yeah?" Constantine complains and Charlie-Gary kicks him. "Oy!"
"Shh, someone might hear you." Mona says
"Red Alert, the Waverider is landing." An alarm goes off. "Red Alert."
"Oh, man, the Custodians are here." Charlie-Gary says. "Could things get any worse?"
Charlie-Gary bumps into Gary
"Wait, stop right there." Gary says. "Are you me?"
"Yes. From the future." Charlie-Gary says
Gary gasps, excited
"Do I ever find love, or at least my sunglasses?" Gary asks. "They might be in my other pants."
"Yes, Gary, all that and more." Charlie-Gary says
Laser blast and glass shatters
"It's the Custodians!" Someone yells
"But right now, I need you to delay the Custodians." Charlie-Gary tells him
"Okay. Oh, but be careful." Gary says. "There's been reports of a shapeshifter on the loose."
"Yeah, I know that already." Charlie-Gary says. "Because I'm you from the future, dummy."
Gary runs the other way
"Come on. We gotta find a place to hide." Charlie-Gary says
Charlie-Gary and Mona leave as Nate, Mick, Garima, and Ray walk in
"Knock, knock, anybody home?" Nate asks
"Come on, hurry up! Let me out of this thing." Constantine says as they arrive in a dark room
"Where are we?" Charlie-Gary asks
"This is Ava's office, but she's gone." Mona asks
"Gone, gone?" Charlie-Gary asks
"I'm right here, you idiots." Ava says with dark hair and a dark outfit
...in the main room....
"Dad, we tracked a shapeshifter here, so we're gonna need you to stand down and let us our job and bag it for you." Nate says
"Your job, son, is to bring the creatures back to the Bureau alive." Hank says. "Not leave their insides strewn through history."
"It's called payback for what they did to Sara, and don't get in our way." Nate says
...over with the others...
"Sharpie?" Constantine asks. "What happened to you?"
"I'm allowed to grieve in my own way." Ava says. "Why the hell are you out of your cell?"
"Well, plans change, love." Constantine says
"Are you sure you're okay, Director Sharpe?" Mona asks
"I'm fine!" Ava says. "I'm just taking some time to get my head together after Sara was unicorned."
"I'm really sorry about that." Charlie-Gary says. Charlie-Gary shifts into Charlie. "Things are not as they seem."
"Amaya?" Ava asks
"No." Charlie says. "Well, it's a long story, but time is... Well, broken."
"What are you talking about?" Ava asks
"Well, you see, you're living in a timeline that doesn't exist, and we are from a timeline where your hair is still blonde." Constantine says
"Okay, I don't have time for this timey-wimey crap." Ava says
"No, no, this is the truth." Charlie says. "Now, listen. The Custodians of the Chronology are actually the Legends of Tomorrow and they're the good guys, mostly."
"Yeah, and the kicker is Sara is supposed to be alive." Constantine says
"Did you say Sara's alive?" Ava asks
"Yeah." Constantine and Charlie say
"I knew it!" Ava exclaims, standing up. "I knew something was wrong. I mean, I like the Indigo Girls, but they should not be a way of life."
"Then let's help them set things right." Mona says
"What do you guys need from me?" Ava asks
...Ava, Constantine, Charlie, and Mona walk down the hallway...
A gun clicks and the group stops to see the Custodians of the Chronology
"Well, well, well, look who's helping our magical fugitive." Ray says as they raise their weapons
"We were looking for you." Nate says
"Thought you might want to have some fun." Ray says
"I got 12 gauges of fun right here." Ava says, holding her gun up
"That's it." Hank says. "I'm placing you all under arrest."
"Shut your mouth, pops." Mick grumbles
"Go!" Ava exclaims and they run as the Custodians shoot
Chaos fighting ensues
Charlie, Constantine, Mona, and Ava hide
"I'll cover you. Go save Sara." Ava says, jumping up and shooting as the others run
The jump ship flies away
"Did they really all just kill each other?" Constantine asks
"Don't think about it." Charlie says. "And we'll go back in time and we'll fix things. We have to." They jump to unicorn time. "Target ahead. Arming the weapons now."
...down with the unicorn....
"Is that what I think it is?" Ray asks
"Twilight Sparkle come to life." Nate says. "We didn't screw things up for the better this year. We screwed things up for the more magical."
The jump ship blasts the unicorn dead
"Yes!" Charlie exclaims
"Nice shot!" Constantine says
"Who the hell's in the jump ship?" Nate asks
"Who cares?" Mick grumbles. "Mission accomplished."
"And you guys thought we needed Constantine." Sara says
...in the jump ship...
"Yeah, we saved Sara's life." Constantine says. "Now that should fix everything."
"The Custodians should be back to being the Legends." Charlie says. "Zari should no longer be a cat and Brooklyn and Maddie shouldn't be bunnies anymore."
Charlie and Constantine turn around to see the three they were talking about still in animal form
"All right, this might be a crossed wired thing in my brain, but that is still a cat and two bunnies sitting there, isn't it?" Constantine asks
"Killing the unicorn didn't solve the problem." Charlie says. Zari-Cat meows. "No, Zari, we're not going back to New Orleans."
"We need to find out what's wrong with this timeline and fix it." Constantine says
"All right, we go back to the Bureau, figure out our next step." Charlie says
They time jump

Charlie walks through the Bureau
"Charlie, come on. Talk to me, love." Constantine says through the comms. "What's happening? Is everything normal?"
"No. In fact, things are pretty far from normal." Charlie says, looking at the plaques of Mick, Ray, and Nate. "No reason to panic. We still got this. Right, we'll find out how the boys died in this timeline, then we'll go back and save them, and hopefully when they return they won't be magical creature murderers."
"Right, sounds so simple." Constantine says
"Out of the way, suckers." Sara says, walking down the hall with Ava and Gideon (in human form). All three wear matching outfits and leather jackets
"Make way for S.O.S." Ava says
The three get into an elevator
"What the hell is S.O.S.?" Charlie asks
The three girls, flip their hair over their shoulder and pose
Sirens of Space-Time (SOS)...starring three badass women
"Good morning, Sirens." Hank greets as SOS walks into his office
"Good morning, Hank." The three reply
"Well, I hope you're ready to go to work today because we have one hell of a case on our hands." Hank says
Charlie ducks in the corner to hide
"If anyone knows what happened to the guys, it'll be them." Charlie says through the comms. "Hang tight on the ship. Looks like I'm joining the S.O.S."
...Charlie shifts into Amaya...
"All right, ladies. Weapons check." Sara says, opening a case full of weapons
"Way ahead of you, babe." Ava says, holding up a blaster
"My pistol's hot and ready." Gideon says
"Hey, girls." Charlie-Amaya says, walking in. "Save some fun for me."
"Amaya, what are you doing here?" Sara asks
"We thought you went back to 1942." Ava says
"I did, but then I heard about your monster problem, and, well, I couldn't stay away." Charlie-Amaya says
"It's perfect timing." Sara says. "We are up to our peaches with magical creatures and about to kick some ass."
Sara hands a gun to Charlie-Amaya
"I'm in." Charlie-Amaya says, taking the gun
...in the jumpship...
Zari-Cat and Bunny-Brooke sit on a chair as Bunny-Maddie rolls between the two
Constantine grabs his head
"Get it together, John!" Constantine yells at himself, smacking himself in the face. "Come on. Get your head together."
Zari-Cat meows
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking." Constantine says. "You want me to put things back the way they were, but that's not gonna bloody happen." Bunny-Brooke flops her ears. "No, I'm not all right to be honest."
...with SOS...
"So what kind of fun costumes are we gonna need for this mission?" Charlie-Amaya asks
"We don't do costumes anymore." Sara says
"Yeah, we stopped so we could streamline missions." Ava says
"Yeah, why get all dressed up if we're just wasting these magical creatures straight away." Gideon says and Charlie-Amaya chokes on her drink
"I mean, please tell me you don't keep a trophy room of their skulls." Charlie-Amaya says
Ava and Sara laugh
"What do we look like? Barbarians?" Sara scoffs. "No, we just toss them." She says, seriously
"You what?" Charlie-Amaya asks
"Yeah, ever since that Fairy Godmother killed Nate, Ray, and Rory we just waste any magical creature that comes in our path." Ava says. "No questions asked."
"Well, they can't all be bad." Charlie-Amaya says
"We haven't met a good one." Sara says. "Hey, how is Zambesi? Hmm?" She asks Charlie-Amaya
"Who?" Charlie-Amaya asks
"Zambesi. Where you're from." Gideon says
"It's great." Charlie-Amaya says. "Yeah, it's, like, chill. Super chill." She says, laughing nervously
...in the jump ship...
"If I do what you guys ask, I'd be sending Desmond to hell." Constantine tells Zari-Cat and Bunny-Brooke. Zari-Cat meows. "Yeah, I know, maybe I deserve this insanity." Constantine pets Zari-Cat and Bunny-Brooke. "Oh, you're all soft."
...with SOS...
Charlie hides in a corner
"Oy, wake up, losers." Charlie-Amaya says through the comms. "I know how to fix it. Right, we got to take care of the Fairy Godmother in Salem. Fire up the ship. I'm heading up there now."
"Cor blimey." Sara mocks. Charlie-Amaya turns around to see SOS with blasters. "No more tea and crumpets for this dodgy doppelganger. Hard Drive here knew you weren't really Amaya all along."
"I'm equipped to detect shapeshifter pheromones." Gideon says
"How fortunate our white whale swam right into our net." Ava says
"What is with you guys and white whales?" Charlie-Amaya asks. SOS walks closer to Charlie-Amaya. "Oh, you really think you three can take me?"
"Oh, I can take you alone." Sara says
Charlie-Amaya runs
"Damn it." Sara mutters. "Get back here!"
Charlie-Amaya runs to the jump ship
"Oh, hey. How were the Sirens in Space-Time?" Constantine asks with a crazy look in his eye
"Well, they're not the Custodians." Charlie-Amaya says. "They may actually be worse. Now, let's go save the lads." She says, sitting down
...in Salem...
"The three of you have been so rude with your nasty attitude." Fairy Godmother sings to Nate, Ray, and Mick who were trapped. "It will be ever so sublime. To slowly choke you up with vines."
"Whatever you're gonna do, Charlie, you better make it fast." Constantine says through the comms
"I got this." Charlie says, watching Prudence sing
Charlie shifts into Fairy Godmother
"Prudence." Charlie-Fairy Godmother says, walking over
"Fairy Godmother, are you finished?" Prudence asks. "That was fast."
"Yes, and I was thinking, if I'm to be your Fairy Godmother, you must start behaving like a proper young lady." Charlie-Fairy Godmother says
"How do you mean?" Prudence asks
"Oh, nothing dreadful or out of the ordinary." Charlie-Fairy Godmother says. "Just chores, daily baths, church service each morning,and you must start eating broccoli."
"But I don't want all that." Prudence says
"Well, until our bond is severed, I'm afraid that's the way it must be." Charlie-Fairy Godmother says. "Now, eat the broccoli."
"Fairy Godmother, I relinquish you." Prudence says
"That's cool." Charlie-Fairy Godmother says
...over with the real Fairy Godmother...
"I alone may become satiated." Fairy Godmother sings. "When you're all asphyxiated." Fairy Godmother's magic disappears. "My bond with Prudence has been severed."
Mick aims his gun at Fairy Godmother
"Oh, fiddlesticks." Fairy Godmother mutters
...the jump ship flies...
"You know, I hate to jinx us, but I really think we nailed it this time." Constantine says
"We just hope you guys are right." Zari-Puppet says and Constantine and Charlie turn to look
"What's wrong?" Brooke-Puppet asks and they look at her. Brooke-Puppet holds a smaller Maddie-Puppet in her arms. "What are you looking at?"
"There something on my nose?" Zari-Puppet asks
"Bollocks." Charlie mutters

"Anything yet?" Charlie asks through the comms
"Don't rush me, love." Constantine says, walking through the waverider. "Who knows what surprises wait for us in here."
"Looks like there's reptilians in the Renaissance." Sara's voice is heard
"Sounds like a team meeting." Constantine says. "I'll just pop in and say hello, shall I?"
Constantine Walks into the bridge
"So put on your period-appropriate boots because we are going lizard stomping." Sara says and Constantine stops, seeing they're all puppets. "Oh, hey, everybody, look. It's our good friend, John Constantine."
"Yay." The puppets cheer
"What the..." Constantine mutters
"Flying through history." The Puppets of Tomorrow sing. "Solving some mysteries. We give bad guys the boot. In superhero suits. We'll win our victory. By stopping witchery. So they've got magic. Well we've got heart and fabric. Puppets of Tomorrow. Puppets of Tomorrow today."
"Fraggle Rock is going on here?" Constantine mutters
"Well, today we learned about the importance of cooperating." Sara-Puppet says
"And about the number three." Ray-Puppet says
"And about a famous man from history named Napoleon." Nate-Puppet says
"Mm-hmm, mm-hmm." The Puppets of Tomorrow say
"I think I need a drink." Constantine says
"Ooh, we can help." Sara-Puppet says
"When you're thirsty for a drink. And you just can't reach a sink. You gotta ask for a help." The puppets sing
"No, stop. All right, please, please." Constantine says. "No more singing. Just tell me, why are you puppets?"
"Because Rory called us a bunch of Time Bureau puppets." Sara-Puppet says
"Yeah, and then he ran off with his new partner in crime." Nate-Puppet says

"So did you figure out how we turned into damn puppets?" Zari-Puppet asks
"Gotta admit, it's a step up from animals." Brooke-Puppet says
"Yeah, it's worse than I thought." Constantine says. "After we managed to separate the Fairy Godmother from Prudence, she somehow glommed onto Rory. You can probably figure out the rest."
"Well, we're just gonna have to keep fixing what's broken until we get it right." Charlie says
"Yeah." Constantine says
Charlie flies the jumpship as Brooke-Puppet rolls her eyes

Charlie keeps screwing with time until there are no plaques
"No plaques." Charlie breathes. She runs to where Constantine, Zari and Brooklyn (no longer puppets) and Maddie are. The door opens and Brooklyn, with Maddie on her hip, turns around. "No plaques. No plaques. We did it. I'm shocked to bits. Everyone's alive, the gal trio are human again, and I still have my powers."
"Ah, that's smashing news, love." Constantine says, strained
Zari and Brooklyn share a concerned look
"Yeah. I mean, sure, it's got a few cracks, but fixed the timeline." Charlie says. "See that, gals."
"Constantine, are you okay?" Brooklyn asks him, ignoring Charlie
"Yeah, yeah, it's... Never better." Constantine groans. His eyes roll back and he falls to the ground
"John. John." Zari says, shaking him
"What happened?" Constantine asks as Zari and Charlie help him up
"Passed out, mate." Charlie says
"He didn't just pass out." Zari says. "His brain can't handle this wad of bandages you call a timeline."
"I can take the pain, love." Constantine groans
"What if you can't?" Brooklyn tells him
"Aww, you care for me?" Constantine teases
"What if you die, John?" Zari says. "What happens to all the people who need you alive and Constantine-y?"
"Yeah, well, you can leave that to the real heroes, all right, because I'm done giving a damn." Constantine says
"Oh, I see." Zari says. "This isn't about saving Desmond anymore. It's an excuse for you to give up on yourself."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, just leave him alone, will you?" Charlie says
"Hey." Brooklyn interrupts. "You think because there's no plaques the world is fixed? I promise you, it's just as messed up out there as it is in Constantine's brain."
"I know you don't want to send Desmond to hell, but that doesn't have to be the end of the story." Zari says. "You of all people can find a way to keep fighting for him. Go to New Orleans and set things right."
"Please, listen to us." Brooklyn tells him
"Don't listen to them." Charlie says. "Come on, John. It's you and me. We can make this timeline work."
"No, Charlie." Constantine says. "We've tried over, and over, and over to get what we wanted and it hasn't worked. Zari and Brooklyn are right. There's still hope for Desmond, and maybe there's still hope for your powers too."
"Hope?" Charlie says. "My powers aren't some magic trick. They're who I am. I'm not gonna just sit around and hope that they come back. I'll fight for them."
Charlie lunges forward. Zari shoots her hand out and blasts Charlie with wind and Charlie is thrown back
Zari and Brooklyn leave
Constantine sighs, leaving too
"This ain't over." Charlie says from the ground. "Not by a long shot." She says, shifting into Ava
....a portal opens on the waverider and Charlie-Ava walks in...
"Ava, I wasn't expecting to see you here." Sara says
"Yeah, the Bureau got an emergency alert about a magical presence in New Orleans, 2018." Ava says. "I thought maybe we could check it out together."
"Let's get to work." Sara says
"Cool." Ava says

Brooklyn and Zari wait for Constantine by the jump ship in New Orleans. The girls sit on a blanket on the grass with Maddie in the middle of them on her tummy as they eat Beignets
"Jeez." Constantine groans through the comms. "I didn't live this specific moment, but I remember it. It's all part of jumbled, bloody memory."
"By the way, only about 10% of what you're saying makes any sense, but by all means continue." Zari says, taking another bite of her beignet
"Right, so the earliest me just left for the market." Constantine says. "The other one is upstairs breaking up with Dez right now, and when Dez leaves upset, I stop him. Put things back to normal."
"All right, good luck." Brooklyn says
....on the waverider...
Ray and Mick bring out weapons
"Blimey, that's a lot of ammo." Charlie-Ava says
"Blimey?" Sara asks
"Huh?" Charlie-Ava asks. "Oh, I meant wow."
"All right, boys, orders are shoot to kill." Sara says
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait." Charlie-Ava protests. "Shouldn't we discuss what kind of creature we're dealing with here? We can't just go in guns a-blazing. What if whatever's causing this is just a little misguided?"
"It's a magical fugitive." Ray says
"We kill those." Mick says
"You two head out." Sara tells Ray and Mick. "Stay on the comms."
...at the jump ship...
"Okay, right, I think... I think that something should be landing right here any second now." Constantine says through the comms
Zari looks at Brooklyn who shrugs
"Got it." Constantine says after a moment
....on the waverider...
"All right, Gideon, what are we looking at?" Sara asks
"I've located multiple targets on the ground each one with a substantial magical signature." Gideon says
"Do we have a visual yet?" Charlie-Ava asks
"Coming up now." Gideon says
Constantine's picture comes up multiple times on the console
"Wait, that's John Constantine, and there's more than one of him." Sara says. "Looks like our shapeshifter has a shapeshifter friend."
"Wait a second, how do you know that that's not really Constantine out there?" Charlie-Ava asks
"Because it's John Constantine. He doesn't time travel." Sara says. "Believe me. I tried to recruit him."
"Okay, so why don't we capture all three of them so we can find out if any of them are the real John?" Charlie-Ava suggests
"What is wrong with you? You feeling okay?" Sara asks
"I'm fine." Charlie-Ava says. "I'm just a firm believer in taking precautions."
"Precautions." Sara laughs. "Good one." She turns to her comms. "Ray, Rory, what's your status?"
"All right, we're in position, with our sights on the shapeshifter." Ray says
"When do we get to shoot?" Mick asks
"All right, on my mark, open fire." Sara says
"Sara, don't!" Charlie-Ava yells
"Damn it, Ava, why not?" Sara asks
"Cause I'm the shapeshifter." Charlie-Ava says, shifting back into her normal form
"Guys, stand down, we have a code blue on the ship." Sara says
...with Constantine...
"Hey, you... you dropped this." Constantine says, walking over to Dez with his phone
"My phone. How did you get down here?" Dez asks. "You were just upstairs."
Yeah, never mind about that right now. I have something really important to tell you." Constantine says
"You know what? I think you've said quite enough today already." Dez says, trying to leave
"No, no, Dez, please." Constantine says, stopping him. "Give me a minute, all right?"
...on the waverider...
"So you're the shapeshifter." Sara says to Charlie. "Why do you look like Amaya?"
"It is complicated, but this is how you know me." Charlie tells her. "What's happened to the Legends to make you like this?"
"What do you mean?" Sara asks
"You guys are so intent on killing magical creatures." Charlie says. "Can't you see that this is wrong?"
"Not really." Sara says, snapping Charlie's neck
...with Constantine...
"Look, now I know this sounds crazy, but the me that you were just speaking to upstairs is my past." Constantine says
"So you break up with me out of the blue, act like a total ass, and suddenly that's in the past, just like that?" Dez says
"Listen, literally, that is me from ages ago, but the person who's standing in front of you right now is a little bit older and he's a little bit wiser." Constantine says
"Sure. Still playing games, clearly." Dez says. "Look. I thought this was real."
"Yeah, it is real, Dez, and that's why I moved heaven and earth so that I could save you from a lifetime and eternity of anguish, anguish that I caused." Constantine says. "Look... I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm sorry you ever even met me."
"Don't be sorry." Dez says. "Only a fool would fall in love in John Constantine and not expect it to be rocky. I knew the risks and I took 'em anyway for you. I'm still pissed at you. Why can't we just go back to the ways things were?"
"That's exactly what I was thinking." Constantine says, pulling out a memory flasher
"What is that?" Dez asks
"Know one thing, Desmond." Constantine says. "I'm not quitting on you."
Constantine flashes Dez
...on the waverider...
"Sara, crazy-looking Constantine just memory-flashed a civilian." Ray says through the comms. "Can we shoot him yet?"
"Wait for my signal." Sara says. Unknown to her, Charlie is healed now and stands up. "I'm dealing with a situation on the ship. Constantine might be..." Sara notices Charlie and stops talking
"Sara? Sara?" Ray asks through the comms
"Hold on a second, Ray." Sara says. She walks over to Charlie. "Look, I don't know who you are, or why you are on my ship, but you're never leaving."
Sara clicks a gun at Charlie's face
"Wait, Sara, please." Charlie says. "Just tell me why you're so intent on killing magical creatures."
"Because that's how we stay alive." Sara says, shooting Charlie but Charlie is fine
"Stop doing that!" Charlie yells. "Don't you remember London?"
"No." Sara says
"When you and I first met and I helped you see the truth about magical creatures." Charlie says
"And how did you do that?" Sara asks
"By being me?" Charlie says. "By showing you that I'm not here to hurt humans. That not all monsters need to be put down."
"That's cute, but never happened." Sara says
"What... How can you not remember? " Charlie breathes. Then, she realizes. "Bollocks. Because of Constantine, you and I never met and you never changed. I'm the missing ingredient in every one of these botched timelines."
"I'm sorry, but all I see is a threat that needs to be taken out." Sara says. She turns to her comms. "Ray, fire when ready."
...out on the street, Dez and Past Constantine kiss and everything freezes...a blue warp covers the group, setting everything back to normal...

Zari, Charlie, and Brooklyn step out of the jump ship and walk over to Constantine
"John, you okay?" Zari asks
"Yeah, well, my mind is no longer split in two, but can't say the same about my heart though." Constantine says. "You?" He asks Charlie
"Well, lost my powers." Charlie says, sadly. "Back to being mortal."
"Sorry, guys. It had to be done." Brooklyn says
"Well, let's go on and find the Legends, shall we?" Constantine says
"Yeah, see if all this was worth it." Charlie says

The jump ship docks and the group boards the waverider
The walk into the bridge
"Well, everything seems pretty normal so far." Constantine says
"This isn't over, you dingalings!" Puppet-Stein yells. "You better watch your knees, Sara Lance."
"Ugh." Brooklyn mutters, her free hand (her other one with Maddie against her hip) rubbing her forehead
"Oh, no, is everyone a puppet again?" Zari asks
"What?" Sara asks, walking over. "What are you talking about?"
"I'll kill you all!" Puppet-Stein yells
"I got an anti-magic isolation chamber with your name on it, Mike the Spike." Ray says, tying up the puppet and leaving
Brooklyn sighs in relief
"Ah, the usual insanity that passes for normal around here." Charlie says happily
"What is this?" Sara asks. "Why are you being so weird?"
Zari, Brooklyn, and Charlie share a look before Zari pats Constantine on the shoulder and the three leave
"Well, I... I do have a little bit of a tale to tell, to be honest. You fancy a drink?" Constantine asks
"Hmm, one of those stories." Sara says. "Let's go."
Brooklyn, holding Maddie, and Zari walk through the hall
Charlie runs over to them
"Hey, Zari, Brooklyn, I wanted to say that I'm sorry." Charlie says
"For what?" Zari asks. "For stuffing us into a bag or almost destroying all of history?"
"Well, yeah, that too, but what I'm really sorry about is that we got off on the wrong foot." Charlie says
"You're a shapeshifter." Zari says. "Your whole deal is tricking people."
"Yeah, but now I'm being honest with you two." Charlie says. "You know, I could have been anyone when I got my powers back. Do you know why I kept coming back to this form?"
"Because Amaya is very hot?" Zari suggests
"It's because this is the form I was when I joined the Legends." Charlie says. "Now, I have been a part of many crews, and you guys... Well, you're not rubbish."
Brooklyn and Zari share a look
"Listen, destroying history for personal gain, it's happened to almost everyone here." Zari says. "Rite of passage."
"So you think I'm hot then?" Charlie asks Zari and Zari rolls her eyes
The three make their way to Brooklyn's room. Brooklyn walks in with Maddie in her arms, Zari plops down on Brooklyn's bed and Brooklyn passes Maddie off to Zari. Brooklyn kneels to the floor next to a backpack, zipping it closed
Brooklyn looks over and sees Charlie standing awkwardly in the doorway
"You can come in." Brooklyn tells her
Charlie smiles, walking in and sitting in Brooklyn's desk chair
"Why are you packing?" Charlie asks
"Jax is picking me and Maddie up." Brooklyn says. "We're gonna spend a few days together and then I'll be back."
"And Jax is...?" Charlie trails off her question
"Maddie's father." Brooklyn says, standing up and tossing her jacket on
"Why isn't he on the ship anymore?" Charlie asks
"Stein, Jax's metahuman other half, died." Brooklyn explains. "Jax felt he needed to leave the ship to grow...and we both knew the waverider is where I belong."
Charlie nods
"Do you miss him?" Charlie asks
Brooklyn is quiet for a moment. She lifts her backpack up and shoulder it
"Everyday." Brooklyn whispers
