Rosé’s P.O.V
A week have passed since Jennie and I met at the café to talk about our project. I don’t know why but it seems she doesn’t like to be seen with me again, that is why she won’t tell me where to meet to talk about it again. Maybe she thinks we can easily do things so she’s just letting days passes by without us doing something.
It’s actually fine with me, I would not really mind if she doesn’t like to spend time with me for doing it, I won’t force her and I could take a rest from her rudeness.
Maybe the gossips about us ‘hanging out’ makes her naturally avoid me. It is not like I am not used to it, we prefer not to see each other that much anyways.
“Hey guys!”
Oh, I was in my thoughts that I didn’t notice we’re already in the cafeteria right now. I looked at the way where Joy, Yeri, Wendy and Nayeon at. Lisa and I went on our way to their table and greeted them.
Mostly of college students have their group of friends they talked with everyday, they are the ones I belonged to a group with. They are my close friends since day one of college, but Lisa, Wendy and I met at highschool.
“How are you both?” Wendy happily asked.
“I am attending practices for Volleyball team and that makes me busy even though it’s just weeks since the school year started.” Lisa answered her with a tired tone while we comfortably sat.
Everyone laughed and Nayeon stood up and patted Lisa’s head. “As expected from you Lisa, you always complain about things but you still do it wholeheartedly.” Nayeon said and makes everyone laughed. Lisa just pouted and looks at her phone.
They looked at me. “How about you Rosé? Can you tell us what you’ve been doing in Australia first? We do have lots of time for this lunch break.” Joy asked as she looked at me excitedly.
Yeri nodded, “Yeah we still have 2 hours and 30 minutes. You can even tell us some of your sister and parents whereabouts.” She said and received a pinch at her waist by Joy.
We laughed at Yeri who is now mumbling.
“Don’t mind what she says, she’s being sarcastic at me since yesterday.” Joy said and rolled her eyes. How cute of them.
I am about to say something when we heard other students whispering and talking about something in an instant. We all looked at each other and I looked at Lisa, she just shrugged her shoulders.
“Wait. Is that Jennie and Jisoo? Wth? With Jungkook—” Nayeon said with such shocked expression at her face.
She didn’t finish her words, she immediately covered her mouth with her hands. What’s with it anyways? I mentally thought.
“What’s the big deal about it?” Yeri blatantly asked and we looked at her. She is obviously not so into what everyone's talking about. “Yeah, I have the same question.” I told them then they looked at me. “Why?” I curiously asked them because they stare at me like it is unbelievable of me to have the same question as Yeri.
Wendy giggled, “That’s Yeri and Rosé for you all.”
We laughed again, made some students to looked at us. “Jungkook is a well known artist.” Joy answered our question whispering. “He is a son of a wealthy family, he’s also known to be in a band with other good looking guys.”
“Maybe people are surprised to see Jungkook with Jennie and Jisoo, or I could say, specifically with Jennie. We know she’s not always seen to be with a guy around except with her ex before.” Nayeon added up.
I nodded with uninterested look at my face. Maybe that is why she’s not talking to me about our project because she’s busy with this Jungkook guy. I noticed Lisa just looked at Jisoo eonni and looked away. ‘Huh?‘
They continued to talk about him and some other stuffs when Lisa decided to buy us foods.
“I am hungry, let’s grab some food Chong-ah.”
She looked at me with her hand on her belly. She looks like a kid. I laughed and put my phone at my pocket. “Alright. You guys, would you buy something?” I asked them and Wendy stood up too. “I’ll go buy with them, what do you guys like to eat?” The other girls listed down what they like and gave it to Wendy.
We left Joy, Yeri and Nayeon at our table, they are busy talking about random stuffs. Lisa, Wendy and I goes to the counter and looks at the menu to pick something to eat. I noticed that the foods in the menu seems classy and elegant than before.
“Wow, the cafeteria improved, it serves foods like a five star restaurant.” I blurted out that made Lisa and Wendy chuckled. “Yeah Rosé, a lot of things changed in just one year you were gone.” Wendy told me and ordered things that the others like we carried it all together. “You could tell me those things if we can have some time together.” I told her and she smiled and nods to me as her response.
While Lisa bought us some sweet foods since we both are craving for it. We happily went back to our seats and eat our foods.
“By the way Rosé, have you dated anyone at Australia?” Nayeon asked out of nowhere that made me choked by my food.
They panicked and Lisa immediately gives me a bottle of water. Everyone looked at our table curiously. I am still recovering from the sudden choke incident and fixed myself.
“Nayeon eonni what’s with that? She almost choked to death.” Yeri asked Nayeon who is now having a sorry look at her face. “Sorry, I haven’t expected that she would be surprised by that.” Nayeon explained.
“Lower your voice y’all, everyone seems looking at us at this very moment.” Joy whispered and each of us nodded. I wipe my mouth and I feel Wendy’s hand, caressing my back to comfort me. “Are you alright now?”
“Yeah, I am. Don’t worry.” I said with a smile and I grab my food again when I noticed that everyone is still looking at me. Then we started hearing whispers about me now.
“Uhm. Sorry, I think I asked you loudly about it so everyone heard me.” Nayeon said and plays with her fingers. Yeri and Joy facepalmed in sync and Wendy just sighed while Lisa tries to suppress her laughter.
I defeatedly sighed. Okay maybe I just have to tell them the truth. “It’s alright. So I–” I was about to say the truth when someone interrupted me. “Heya guys!” Jisoo eonni greeted us and she smiled happily. Everyone of us greeted her back and that seems made every other students to mind their own businesses.
“Lisa, move your ass, let me seat beside Chaeyoung.” Jisoo eonni exclaimed and Lisa pouted but moved to give Jisoo eonni space to sit. “ She sat and faced me. “Girls let me have Chaeyoung-ah’s attention for a moment, thanks.” They nodded and indulging their foods while chatting with each other.
“What brought you here eonni? Isn’t Jennie with you?” I asked her. She pointed at Jennie and Jungkook seating together while talking I guess. In my surprise, Jennie looks at us and see me looking at them. She immediately avoided my eyes and eats her food.
Jisoo eonni giggled and looks at me, maybe noticing how Jennie avoided. “I just interrupted you guys since everyone is all ears on hearing about you dated anyone else while you’re away.” Jisoo answered and I nodded, big thanks to her, I do not really know how to tell them without the other students knowing. “By the way Chaeyoung-ah, how’s your project with Jennie? Kai and I are doing good. I don’t know that he can be serious at stuffs like that. He’s cooperating with me well.”
“That’s good for you eonni, Jennie and I haven’t talked about since we met at the café. I thought the gossips made her avoid me. She doesn’t like people talking about her and me hanging out.” I said what I honestly thought.
She looks at Jennie and frowned. “Oh I see, maybe you’re right. Why not talk to her first? Ask her about the tasks needed so you guys could pass it in just weeks.” Jisoo eonni suggested.
“I always do the first move to talk to her. Her pride can not be compared to Mt. Fuji, her pride is higher than those kind of mountains.” I said and rolled my eyes. That is the truth though.
Jisoo eonni laughed loudly that made few eyes of students to look at us and I just shook my head, she’s enjoying this torture of mine.
“That’s so funny. Anyways, I will just tell her to talk to you after school.” She said and stood up. “Thanks guys, I have to go now, see you all around.” Jisoo eonni said and waved us goodbye. She went back to where Jennie and Jungkook are sitting.
After that, I just munched my food and join the girls’ conversation about some guys who asked them out but they rejected and such and how they spend their last year without me. It is good to know they did fine while I was away. I hope things could turn into more peaceful and enjoyable times, hoping wouldn't be that bad right?

Jennie’s P.O.V
Heading my way towards the parking lot, I remembered Jisoo telling me to meet Rosé and to talk about our project. I said I wouldn't but she persuaded me so much to go and even blackmailed me to do it. Saying that she’ll just confess to Kai and Rosé that we switched partners so I have no choice but to meet her. I don’t really know where she is, we do not have the same classes everyday so I don’t have any idea, I even forgot to ask Jisoo because I was pissed off that I just went away.
I sighed and looks around the parking lot, Jisoo said that Rosé is being serviced to school and home by their family driver. So I thought she would be here to wait for her service. But she’s not here, where the hell she could be? I have to go home now.
I looked around and see few students but none of them is Rosé’s friends or so what ever. I mentally cussed and walks again going to field, maybe she’s waiting for that Lisa. Rolling my eyes out of annoyance became my habit thanks to annoying Rosé. I am walking towards the field when someone grabbed my arm.
“Hey Jennie.”
I looked at him and irritatedly removed his hand. “What now Jungkook?” I asked him and glared at him. He seem to be taken aback and looked down. “I just wanna know if you have anyone to take you home. I could drive you home.” He said with a low tone.
“I don’t need anyone to drive me home. I have my own car, aren’t you informed?” I coldly said and was about to step away when Junkook hold my hand. I looked at him with displeased look. “Let go—”
“He said that and— err. I think we interrupted something.”
I looked at the way where familiar voices is coming and I saw Rosé and her friends, Joy was the one who said that I guess by the look she’s giving me and Jungkook. ‘Jisoo is not with them, great’. I mentally sarcastically thought.
They are looking at me and Jungkook. I immediately removed Jungkook’s hand and cussed under my breath. ‘Damn it’.
“Let’s go.” Rosé told them and they all move their feet following her. Wow, is she a leader of them now?
I shook my head. I have to talk to her.
“Rosé!”
I called out and see them surprised by it. They look at each other and to Rosé who is just looking at me with her bored look. How bitchy, I thought.
“What?” She said with uninterested tone.
I walked towards her. “We have to talk.”
Initially picking up and understanding why I told her so. She just said goodbye to her friends and walks away from them. I was left there standing and noticed that Jungkook is still there. “I have something else to do, you can go home now.” I told him.
I followed Rosé and sees her sitting on a bench. I guess she chose this place for us since only a few students passed through here.
This is taking up too much of my time for today. I have to go home as fast as I could. “Rosé, about the project, I’ll just send you the details of where we could meet.” I blatantly said.
“When? When will you text me? After one week or weeks? I thought you want this to be done as soon as possible and yet you are avoiding me for a week now. Why? Is that about the rumors running around about us hanging out?”
I frowned and stares at her. She is completely and obviously pretty annoyed. What the heck? “I have my reasons, so what now? So what if that’s because of those rumors? I don’t like to be linked with being all friendly with you.”
She sarcastically smiled, she look so different right now compare to her laughing and smiling with her friends. “Oh really? I really thought you were just busy being with that Jungkook guy that’s why you did prefer to not talk to me about that project.”
Wtf? What does she know? She knows nothing about me. She’s completely getting into my nerves. “You don’t know what you’re talking about. So shut up.” I felt my jaw tightened, I am getting worked up and furious.
She stood up and looks at me irritated. “Then tell me what should I know. I am not really into paring up with you and getting all annoyed by how bad your attitude is. If only not for this project, I don’t like being around with you either!” She blurted out loudly.
Okay, I am so done with her. “I don’t have anything to tell you, I don’t have to explain my self! I am also not into this pairing shit, I can do all that project by myself! I don’t need you or anyone else!” I angrily said.
My breath got heavier and I saw Rosé shocked but immediately turned back her cold demeanor at me. I walked away and drive my way back home.
What the hell does she know about me? She thought I was just having fun with Jungkook for a week we haven’t discussed about what should we do. She’s stupid and annoying, I hate her.

Alright, I managed to wrote another chapter that contains than 2k+ words and that’s an achievement for me y’all. I’ve been having writer’s block and so I could barely make the sequence for this story. Nonetheless, I’ll continue to make this story until the end. Sorrryyy for the long wait! I published 2 chapters for now to make it up with y’all!
How are you guys? My chapters are kinda lame, so let me know your insights and you could also suggest ships you want to see. By the way, I would like to say that there will be some idols that I will use as antagonists, hope you guys wouldn’t hate that idea so much. 😆
