Waking up for school, I was all in the school spirit. Smiling and all; my clothes were laid out and ready for me to wear. Getting out of the shower I lotioned up my body, I even put on my Victoria's secret lace pantie and bra set. Curling my hair my phone made the ting sound from a text. Finishing up my hair, I started on my make up then got dressed. Putting on my white Polo button up, pink flair skirt with my knee high sock and my all white high top MK sneakers. Folding my sleeves I put on my gold Chanel watch and Jaidell necklace. Adding on the school girl look I put on a pink tie, yes I went all out. Grabbing my phone and MCM book bag I went downstairs. "Awww look at my senior" my mom cried. I smiled and posed to make her laugh. "Mommy you like?" I smiled watching her eyes dry up. "Yes I love it. But you're growing up on me. Give me a minute" she sniffled and I hugged her. "No tears mommy. You see I still call you mommy so we good" I giggled and sat at the table. My mom always makes me the biggest breakfast for the first day of school. "Yummy!" I danced in my seat. "Yes eat up and wait for Korey. He's in your school now" she smiled. "Okay cool. Tell play boy to speed it up" I joked as she laughed. Finishing my food I sat back in the chair and scrolled to Ashton's number. And sent him a text.
Me : To be honest Ashton, this was supposed to be our year. Our last year together and it's not even turning out the way we planned. Wanting to be best friends from sixth grade until forever was our goal, but a whole thing got in the way. Starting with our feelings and being stubborn. I can't lie but seeing you kiss that girl that night bothered me so much til the point I couldn't hide it. But being the way you are I really just wanted to be your best friend and laugh at the girls you played. Like you taught me about these whack boys and everything. Not trying to be in my feelings even though its too late. Just know I miss you so much. But I know you're having too much fun with your new best friend and girlfriend to even care. I love you Ashton.
"Yo Jai you ready sister?" Korey asked while grabbing his plate. "Yeah come on" I sighed getting up and looking at my phone. "You good?" He asked looking at my phone then up at me. "Yeah" I faked a smile and grabbed my car keys. Walking out of my house I seen Marcus, Quincy, Dwayne and Luis all getting in their dad's car. "Hey ya!" I smiled waving at them. They all said what's up with their Kool - aid smiles. I laughed a little then got in my car with Korey. I blasted my music then pulled off, Korey and I was singing along the music on our way to school.
Pulling up to school, I seen Kiara and Giselle already in the parking lot. "Hey Kiki and Selly!!" I cheered parking my car. "Ya look niceeeee!!" I squealed hugging them. "Thanks but you though!! Damn who boyfriend you trying to take?!" Giselle cheered. I laughed. "Every bodies even mine and I don't even got one" Kiara said and we all laughed. "Well I do and Korey you better not look at Jaidell" Giselle joked then they kissed. We laughed. "That's his sister air head" Kiara said then they started arguing while we walked in school. This year I had every class with them so it was about to be hella fun !! And even our lockers was close together so we started decorating them already. Then walked to class, which was English 12. "Yes! Hey y'all we seniors!!" Kiara cheered walking into class. "Oh no ya not sitting together. Jaidell you in the back, Kiara you in the middle but all the way to the left and Giselle you in the front all the way to the right" Mr. Moore said. We laughed but did as told. I put my book bag on the extar table and paid attention to Mr. Cooper. He was basically explaining all the rules of his class. Like the rest of the classes did and now we were in gym. Why the whole squad had gym ? I'm talking about Ashton, Darell, Kendrick, Korey, Kiara, Giselle and I. But the only bad thing is Ashton and I don't talk. "Yoooo Jaidell!!" Kendrick yelled. "What?" I asked looking at him. "Can I have a picture with you? Like damn. You know usually I bother you but nah you owned today" He smiled. I laughed then took a picture with him. Walking over to my girls I felt somebody grab my hand. "What Jason?" I laughed still letting him hold my hand. "You looking so pretty" he smiled. I laughed. "Thanks. You look nice too" I winked at him then walked away. Jaidell is officially back ! Tripping over who ? Oh. "Jason? Never knew he was your type" Kiara said acting like she was filing her nails. "That was just a tease don't trip boobie" I smiled and Giselle started smiling. "Bye Jai. And hello Jaidell" she smiled. I laughed and we slapped fives. Today wasn't so bad ! Especially since I have every class with my girls, even though nobody let's us sit together besides in gym. But the funny part was when Kim and Destiny mouths dropped from seeing how cute I looked. Just wait on tomorrow. This should be fun. Kiara and Giselle had to go to work so I came straight home. And nobody was home so I tossed my bag on my bed then went back down to make something to eat. Working on my third sandwich the bell rang. "Who?" I asked walking to the door. "Ashton" he said. "Stop playing so much Korey" I said snatching the door open to seeing Ashton. "Oh um yes?" I asked him. Need I mentioned how cute he looked ? I even wanted to apologize for our fight when it wasn't even my fault. "Can I come in?" He asked me. I moved to the side and opened the door up some more. Ashton walked in and sat on the couch. I closed the door then sat on the couch with my arms folded staring at him. "Are you going to speak?" I asked him. And he just pulled me close to him and attacked my lips with his. Not wanting to break our kiss I know I had to, he played my mother. "Wait. Ashton you can't be doing this!" I said looking at him. Ashton put his head down. "Yeah I know. And about that I'm sorry I swear I'm sorry. Its just that I seen you all in Mikel face after walking away from me. So yeah I was furious like you rally got me mad being in his face. But its not about how mad I was. It's how sorry I am" he said still with his head down. "Jealous? Really Ashton, wow that's crazy" I said shaking my leg until he laid down on my lap. "Jaidell I swear I'm sorry. Destiny and Kim aren't no way near you. No girl is matter of fact. You are way better than them and I'm not even saying that just too" he said looking up at me. "I understand Ashton" I sighed then covered my face. I really want to be mad at him still, but I can't be mean in person. "I'll accept your apology" I mumbled and Ashton hopped up. "I missed you Jai" he said then kissed me again this time I didn't break the kiss. I actually pushed him back on the couch and climbed on top of him. "I missed you too" I said between our kisses. We started taking off each other clothes until I heard the door unlock. My heart dropped and tried putting our clothes back on faster than ever. "Who is that?" I asked breathlessly. "Korey" he said. "Thank god" I mumbled then pushed my hair back. Ashton tugged at my skirt so I could look his way. "What?" I asked looking his way. "Baby I'm hungry" he whined. "I'm not your baby stop it" I said and tried to walk away but he pulled me back on to his lap. "Say you're my baby or I'm going to tickle you until you pee" Ashton threatened. But I sighed and folded my arms. Ashton laughed then started tickling me while I tried twisting away. Ashton put me on the couch and kept on it tickling me. "Okay Ashton!!! You're my baby! What?!" I yelled trying to catch my breath from all that laughing. "Oh I thought I wasn't your baby?" He smirked. I sucked my teeth then started laughing. "You know got hella explaining go do right?" I smiled sitting on the couch. "Nobody's my girlfriend so I think I'm straight what about you?" He asked. "Been straight. Staying loyal to your ass even when I disliked you" I said. "Can we bury that? I hate being the bad guy" Ashton said. "Don't we always?" I smiled and he nodded. "Now can you feed me? Destiny always making Ramen noodles and butter bread" Ashton said rubbing his stomach. I laughed then grabbed his hand walking into the kitchen. "Awww look at you two" Korey teased eating his pizza. "Shut up but here Ashton. I made this for me but now I'm not hungry, I'll just grab two yogurts" I said passing the plate with my sandwiches to him. "Thanks Jai" he said and slapped my butt. "Annoying" I laughed then grabbed my yogurts. "No boy best friends for Giselle" Korey laughed then sipped on his juice. "I'm her best friend" I smiled then we left to my room. I turned on my TV while Ashton ate the sandwiches. "Jaidell you want a bite?" He offered me. "No eat it up" I said looking for something to watch. "Nah this got poison in it" he joked making me laugh. "No it don't, I was making that before you rang the bell" I laughed and sat up on my bed. "Oh so if I asked for a sandwich earlier you would've poisoned me?" "No Ashton.... Well maybe". And we both started laughing. "I play too much" I laughed then started eating my yogurt. "Can I get some?" Ashton asked. "Here" I said holding out my spoon. Ashton ate off the spoon then kissed my cheek. "Thanks Jai" he said. "No problem" I said eyes glued on the TV, Clueless was on. My mom opened the door and looked surprise. "Look who's here" she said. I haven't told her why Ashton and I stopped talking so he's lucky ! "Hey Ms. Cherelle" Ashton smiled. "Hi Ashton, what was ya fighting about this time? He say she say?" She asked. And we started laughing at her. We never fought over he say she say; Ashton and I forever laughed at stupid rumors. But right now we were about to mess with my mom head. "Yup. He was talking about me to his boys" I said. "Yeah and she was telling everybody not even just her girls, but everybody my business" Ashton said. "Oh no! Ya need to work on that I'll let ya be alone" she said then left the room. "Well that was easy" I laughed. "Too easy" Ashton smiled. Finishing up both yogurts I threw them away then laid on my bed wrapping my legs around Ashton. So he held my butt as we watched TV. "I hate how easy I could forgive you" I said looking up at him. "For real?" Ashton asked sounding hurt. "Yes and no. I say yes because of what you said I shouldn't be happy with you still. Then I say no because we get back together like nothing ever happened" I said. Ashton was hurt by what I just said but its the truth and I wasn't trying to hurt him. Ashton sucked his teeth then sat up letting me go. "I guess you don't accept my apologies then" he sighed about to put on his sneakers. But I hugged him from his back wrapping my arms around his neck and resting my chin on his shoulder. "Ashton I didn't mean it like that, well I did but not in a harsh way" I said. "I hear you" he sighed. "I'm serious Ashton. Now stop pouting and give me a kiss" I said and he started smiling then we started kissing. "Yo it be the best when you sweat me" Ashton smirked and laid back down. "Yeah I know" I shrugged then laid next to him.
The next day at school everybody was still sweating my outfits. I was wearing a all white jumper, blue clouds crop top, white Trap bucket hat and my Colombia 11's. So yeah I was looking like somebody's girlfriend, well Ashton's girlfriend at that. "Guess what but please don't go crazy" I said to Kiara and Giselle. "What?!" Kiara asked all excited. "Yeah what's up?" Giselle asked. "So Ashton came over yesterday and we talked for a minute or so and now I'm his girlfriend" I said rushing the last few words then I covered my ears. They both started yelling and twerking cheering Ashton and I on. "Really? That's cute!" Giselle cooed. "Yes we been telling ya this was going to happened" Kiara smiled. I smiled and sat in the back of class. "Why didn't ya Instagram this? You know it would've got the whole Benson high attention" Giselle said. And I laughed but also agreed. "That's true but nah I was just too excited to have my best friend back" I shrugged. "Boyfriend" Kiara said correcting me. I laughed and then the bell rang so the students started walking into class. Class started and the teacher was giving us lectures and making the college the topic of discussion. We do this in every class until Monday comes. And I love talking about college because I like mentioning that I'm going to be a dancer and a stylist. And all the teachers find interest in that for some reason.
Walking into the lunch room Ashton grabbed me by my waist. "Can you not?" I faked but he fell for it. Ashton furrowed his eye brows at me. "I'm just kidding hi Ashton" I smiled then tapped kissed him. "What?!" Kendrick yelled. "Wasn't you just giving him the silent treatment?" Darell asked looking at us. "Yes and now she's giving him some lips treatment" Kiara teased. And I laughed at her. "Yeah this my girlfriend. We made up right Jai?" Ashton smiled looking down at me. "Yes Ash" I smiled then took a seat. "Awww how cute?!" Giselle smiled while leaning on Korey. "Too cute but what its looking like today is Friday?!" Kendrick asked. "I have nothing in mind" I shrugged. "Oh we could drink and chill in my pool that I just installed" Ashton shrugged. "Who got a pool?!" Kiara asked. "Ashton does dingy" Darell sighed. And they started arguing making us all laugh at them. "Okay so we could do that but I'm not drinking, I barely know how to swim" I laughed then my phone started ringing. It was Kaitlyn.
"What's up Kait?"
"Brianna water just broke and she's being rushed to the hospital!"
"Oh wow really?! But its only fifth period!"
"So come on! She wanted me to call you for a reason!!"
"Okay I'm coming tell her to wait for me!"
"We in the car right now"
"Okay I'm leaving right now!". Everybody at the table was watching me. "What's up?" Ashton asked me. "Brianna is about to give birth. I'll call ya later to keep ya updated. Later Ashton" I said then kissed him. Trying to run off he grabbed my waist and pulled me back to him. "What Ashton? I have to go. Brianna is going to be mad at me if I miss Kapri birth" I said ready to take off. "Can I have another kiss?" He asked. And I smiled while rolling my eyes. "You're annoying baby" I smirked then kissed him how he like. "Yeah Ashton!" Kendrick cheered him on then I took off.
Rushing over to the hospital, Brianna was being rushed in the back. "Could we go back there?" I asked Kaityln while she looked scared as hell. "Yeah come on" she said then found Brianna room. She was laying on the bed with biggest smile on her face. "You made it!" She cooed. "Of course that's my tink that's about to be born but what about Mikel?" I asked sitting on the couch. "He's on his way back. But in a express plane so he should be here before eight o'clock" Brianna said. "And what about Corey?" Kaitlyn asked her. Brianna made the ugliest face and rolled her eyes. "Well what was that about?" I asked taking a picture of her. "Stop Jaidell! And he's not answering his phone when I been told him two hours ago I think I'm going to give birth" Brianna sighed. "We can fight him no doubt!" Kaitlyn said. "Leave him" Brianna laughed then she started breathing real fast and heavy. "Nurse!!" Kaitlyn and I both yelled. Here came the nurse rushing to Brianna's side and put the mask on her. "Just let her relax. Don't mention anything that would get her upset or anything, she needs to be calm okay?" The nurse said as Kaitlyn and I nodded. Watching Brianna slowly doze off but she kept on getting sharp pains that wake her right up. "Awww my poor Bri" I said and sat on the bed with her. Then started rubbing her hair as she softly cried. "Nurse Jackie my sister is in pain and she's crying. Can you give her anything that can soothe the pain but won't harm the baby?" Kaitlyn asked this nurse. And she nodded her head. "I'll be right back" Nurse Jackie said then left out of the room. But here came Corey rushing to her side. "Baby why didn't you call me?" Corey asked Brianna. "Do you think I'm stupid or what mother fucker?!" Brianna snapped. Kaitlyn and I laughed but stopped when Corey mugged us. "What are you talking about Bri?" He asked. "Corey I called you as my water broke. After and when Kaitlyn and I got in the car be for real my nigga! What you was doing that your phone was completely turned off?!" She snapped. Corey was still playing clueless so Brianna just dismissed him. Still waiting for Brianna centimeters reach its point here came my mom, Aunt June and Mikel. They rushed to Brianna side to check on her at first then sat with us. "Hey Mikel" I smiled hugging him. "What's up? How you and Ashton?" He asked. "That's my boyfriend now" I said not knowing what will his reaction be. "That's your what?!" My mom, Brianna and Kaitlyn asked together. I laughed at their surprised faces. "Yes that's my boyfriend" I smirked holding back my laugh. "We'll talk later" my mom said while Brianna and Kaitlyn winked at me. I laughed then looked over at Mikel. "So how was your ride home?" I asked Mikel. "It was cool. We made up but still aren't together" Mikel chuckled. "That's good and why you laughing?" I asked him. "We both wished the worst when it made a whole different turn" Mikel said halfway smiling. "I totaly agree" I smiled.
"She's ready to push. Go put on your blue scrubs" the doctor said. So we all put on our blue scrubs then came back to the room. Brianna started pushing and screaming crying. Later on in life remind me how much pain it us to give birth, thanks !! Here came Kapri twenty minutes later. She came out crying with her dimples showing. My mom and aunt June started crying staring at Kapri. Brianna only held her for like five minutes before she fell asleep. We laughed at her then took turns holding Kapri. "I swear she's the cutest thing alive" Mikel said and we awwd. Posting Kapri first picture on Instagram, my phone wouldn't stop buzzing from the comments and likes. Ashton called me.
"Hey"
"Congrats god mommy"
"Thanks Ashton, are ya still planning to chill in the pool?"
"Nah everybody switched up planning to do their own thing. So I want my baby"
"I should be on my way in like a hour"
"Okay. Later Jai"
"Later Ash". After hanging up I held Kapri again and Brianna finally woke up, so I passed her off. "Awww look at you Kapri my princess" Brianna smiled holding the baby. We took more pictures and brought her balloons with flowers. Then I left heading to Ashton's house.
Knocking on Ashton's door, he opened it shirtless. "Boy where's your clothes?" I asked walking in his house. "In my room. I can't be shirtless in my own house?" Ashton asked me. "Of course you can, I mean this is your house" I shrugged and sat on the couch. "Whatever, but how's Bri? And the baby is too cute. I want our baby to look like that" Ashton smirked. "Baby? When? We going to be thirty right?" I asked him. "Whenever you ready" he teased. I laughed then mushed him. "Leave me alone boy, but can you cook? I'm hungry" I whined taking off my sneakers and hat. "Yeah we out. Let's go get something from the store" Ashton said putting on his shirt and Nike slippers. "Alright fine" I yawned and put my stuff back on. We drove to the chicken spot. And we both ordered cheeseburgers deluxe with strawberry soda. "Heeeeey baby" I smiled leaning on Ashton's pillow. "What's up Jai? What you want?" He asked. "Just some of your soda" I smirked. "Here Jai please don't drink it all" Ashton said passing off his soda. "I wasn't planning on doing that air head" I laughed then took his soda and drank some. "Here you go" I smiled then kissed his cheek. "Jai after this you want to test the pool out?" Ashton asked me. "Is there hot water?" I asked knowing since the sun is down, it just might be a little chilly. "Nah but I'll make you warm" Ashton said climbing on top of me. "Bye Ashton" I laughed then he kissed my lips and bit down on my bottom lip. "Boy stop playing, you're going to get me in trouble" I giggled then tapped kissed him. "I hear you but come on baby let's try this pool" he said. "Okay come on" I said and we went downstairs to his backyard. The pool was filled with water and everything. So I stripped down to my panties and bra. Then jumped in the pool with the water freezing cold. "Ashton its cold!" I yelled while he laughed at me and splashed me with water. "Noooo you said you was going to keep me warm. Ashton bring your ass over here!" I laughed chasing him. "Come get me" he smirked splashing me again. I laughed and started chasing him all in the pool. Finally catching Ashton; well I think he let me catch him on purpose. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he hugged my waist. "You see its real cold" I said and Ashton smiled. "Its not that bad especially if you're moving around but turn around you'll be warmer" He said so I rested my back on him. "Its the same ugly" I said splashing him with water. "Ugly?" Ashton asked then lifted me out of the water and threw me in the water. I laughed and started splashing him. "You lucky I can't pick you up air head!" I laughed and swam off. "I'm right behind you" Ashton said then started swimming as well. He was right if you're moving around, the water doesn't seem that bad. We started splashing each other again well I did most of the splashing, Ashton kept on tossing me in the water. "I hope you know you're doing my hair" I laughed holding onto Ashton. "I got you" he chuckled then act like he was doing my hair. But all he do was wet it even more and tried putting it in a bun. "Awww how cute look at your messy bun" I giggled then kissed him. Ashton sat me on the edge of the pool and we started making out. Then Ashton started kissing on my neck, knowing my mom hate hickies I stopped him. "What's up?" He asked puzzled. "My mom would kill me if I came home with hickies" I said. "Oh nah she'll probably kill me first" Ashton laughed. "You're right. But Ashton can I ask you this?" "What's up?". He look like he was so interested in what I had to say, I giggled then started rubbing his hair. "What is our relationship is based off of?" I asked. "What you mean?" He asked. "Well I don't want our relationship based on sex. You know how you bring home girls anytime you wanted and I know ya just didn't only kiss. Now I'm not trying to call you a sex addict or anything crazed like that but I'm saying that's not what I want" I said and Ashton started smiling. "Baby, I've been telling you that you're so different from these girls. Like they're not even on the level I see you on. So it would be up to you when you want to try out Ashton junior. I'm not going to force you, I just might get a little touchy feely but rather than that you don't got to worry" Ashton smiled then kissed my forehead. I started blushing but it turned into a laugh. "Ashton junior bye Ashton!" I laughed at his freaky ass. "For real shawty" he smiled. And we shared a laugh. "You so stupid" I laughed then got back in the water. "Yo I love spending time with your little ass" Ashton said pulling me back onto him. I rested my head on his chest with my eyes closed. "I love spending time with you too baby" I smiled then opened my eyes. "Oh and I don't suck dick" I said. "What's?! And you don't know what you do when you making love" Ashton smirked. "Don't play with me!" I laughed hitting him. "Yo chillll" he laughed holding both of my hands. "So say sorry or I'm going to bite you" I smiled. "But its true, you don't know what you'll do while making love" Ashton laughed. I laughed with him then tried biting him but he spun me around. "Okay I'm sorry Jaidell" he chuckled then kissed my cheek. "That's what I thought and can we get out?" I asked him. "Yeah come on" Ashton said. I hopped out of the pool and ran into the house. That cold air though. "Here you can take these since you wet your panties" Ashton said passing me his Polo briefs. "Thank you" I said then changed in the bathroom and I had to take off my bra too. Walking back into the room Ashton was laying in his bed. "I'm going home now, I'm going to the hospital to visit the baby in the morning" I said then kissed him. "You could take my sweater you look cold" Ashton smirked. I looked down at my chest seeing my breast was poking. "Pervert!" I yelled covering my chest then took his sweater. "Later baby! Get home safe" Ashton laughed. "Thanks and see you papi!" I said then left out the house.
