Manik barged in ISRO office with all his might and aura .
He was greeted by Nandini's assistant who was there sitting outside Nandini cabin
Nandini assistant who was clearly smitten seeing her favourite rockstar in front of her controlled and composed herself for professionalism
Nandini Assistant : good afternoon sir
Manik : good afternoon . May I please know the time Miss Nandini will be free
Nandini Assistant : sir mam will be free in another 30 minutes . Do you want me to go and tell her about your arrival
Manik understanding the gravity of the situation and the seriousness of Nandini towards the project politely denied the assistant and after that to the much delight of the assistant he himself offered for a selfie as she was looking at him like a fan girl and after signing about 5 autographs for her friends he excused himself and went inside Nandini cabin
He entered the cabin and found the biryani package there .
He removed his coat and untucked his shirt folding his cuffs and then brought out the biryani and called a peon and asked him to reheat the biryani and then he himself ordered a quick delivery for a Nutella waffles
The waffles was delivered in about 15 minutes and peon also gave the reheated biryani to Manik who by now was impatiently waiting for Nandini to arrive
About 5 minutes later Nandini arrived inside her cabin with woobly steps as if she has used even the tiniest bit of her energy.
Manik immediately stood up and picked her up
Nandini : manik when did you came ?
Manik : look at yourself. What have you done to yourself barfii . Aisa karta hai kya koi ..
Nandini : Manik I am fine
Manik : don't even try to say that you are fine. How dare you keep my baby hungry for so long. You know how much I want to shout on you but you make me week on my knees with this innocent pout of yours
Nandini : tumne kuch khaya ?
Manik : ofcourse because I thought you will also eat . I am feeling so guilty ..
Nandini : guilty ?? Ye kya baat hui Manik . You had food and what is there to be guilty about
Manik gently put Nandini on a couch and bought the tray with biryani and waffles infront of Nandini who was constantly ranting like a kid " Manik this is not fair please barfii is sorry na monster "
Manik pulled Nandini towards himself and kept the plate between them and forwarded a bite of biryani infront of Nandini
Nandini : no no noooooo I will not eat till you forgive me . Barfii is sorry na
Manik : barfii khana kha lo . Don't raise my anger quotient.
Nandini : please
Nandini said making the most innocent face
Manik : kya karu main ?? Tell me . Do you have any idea that it is 4:30 and you have not eaten anything since morning breakfast which was at 8:00
Nandini : sorry
Manik : acha ok barfii . I am not angry but please eat something .
With this Manik forwarded a bite and Nandini had it and Manik feeded her with the whole plate of biryani while Nandini was enjoying her waffles while Manik feeded her the biryani making sure she has a lot of veggies and patato for energy
Nandini finished with her meal and went to the washroom while Manik dumped the used cutlery
Nandini came outside of the washroom dabbing her face with a towel said
Nandini : the food was yumm
Manik : glad you liked it baby but this is your last warning and if you don't eat your meals on correct times after this . I swear I will take you with me in my office and pin you there and will keep on feeding you
Nandini chuckled listening to his threat and made a fake scared face to which he made a "I am serious " face but couldn't control his smile and hugged her to his life
Nandini still being in the hug said
Nandini : Manik the weather is getting better . I think we will be able to launch it on the second last buffer day that is day after tomorrow. I just hope everything goes as per plan
Manik carresed her hair and bussed on her forehead and made her sit on her seat and kneeled infront of her keeping his hand on her lap and said
Manik : everything will be fine. Universe is adding all these difficulties in your path because the universe also wants to add more shine my brightest star
Nandini pulled him upwards and placed her lips on his not caring for the place they were in and kissed him with all her love . The kiss was a slow one as if Nandini was pouring all her love in the kiss while Manik got so overwhelmed by the kiss that he didn't realise when his tears started getting formed in his eyes and escaped from his eyes while Nandini being aware of the tears but she chose to let them flow today
Nandini broke the kiss and joined their forehead while Manik 's eyes were still closed . He was still in the moment
Nandini broke apart and gently wiped her tears and Manik opened his eyes and hugged her . Staying in the position for a long time they broke apart and Manik pecked her forehead
Manik : that was blissful
Nandini : pure bliss
They were still in their moment when someone knocked on Nandini door
Manan came at a safe distance as they didn't want any bad eye on their relationship so they always maintained a safe distance in their work places
Nandini settled her dress and hair and shouted for the person to come in
Nandini assistant came inside
Nandini 's Assistant : sorry to disturb you mam but Anant sir is calling you in the meeting hall.
Nandini : Ya I know about it . You need to come with me and take the notes of the meeting so get everything ready . I will just come in 10
Nandini's Assistant : ok mam. Thank you mam , thank you sir
Manik formally smiled at her and she left
Nandini came to Manik and locking her arms on his neck said
Nandini : I have a meeting with Anant sir . Got to go . Sorry couldn't spend more time .You came all the way along and I have to leave you now.
Manik : So what it is your work right and it is equally important and making your country proud is certainly not a easy job and I understand that barfii . You go and do your work and I will do mine
Nandini : how was your metting with the traders
Manik : it was good . They agreed to invest in the project . Their are few problematic clauses but I think I will handel it .
Nandini : ofcourse mere rockstar buisness man you will definitely handel it
Manik : ok meri rockstar scientist
Nandini went to the other side of the cabin and picked up manik's coat which he removed and made him wear it and while making him wear it she spoke
Nandini : so going to the office
Manik : no I am going to my designer need to attend the buisness summit in the evening .
Nandini : You had a buisness summit today . Oh god I should have remembered it .
Manik : aree what is there to remember in that buisness summit .
Nandini : so who is joining you this time
Manik : cabir is going with me
Nandini : okk bhaiyu is joining you . Tell him that his angel misses him
Manik : ya and if I tell him this na he will chuck the buisness summit and come to you
Nandini laughed at him and then kissed him a goodbye on his cheek and he left and soon after him Nandini also left for her meeting
Here Manik first chose a outfit for himself and then reached his office and came in cabir 's cabin to find cabir engrossed in his file

Cabir : aree Manik come have a seat
Manik : will leave at 7;00 for the buisness summit
Cabir : what is time now.
Manik : it's 6:30 now . Tu ready hoja then we will leave
Cabir : Give me 5 . I will be back by the way

Reached cabir's office. Will leave at 7:00 for the summit . Will be home by 9:00 . When should I send the driver to pick you up ?
Nandini was in the metting when she saw manik's message . She immediately replied

Will be free around 9:00 so you only pick me up and don't worry we all will be having dinner together today so I will have my meals . Best of luck for your summit . I love you 💛
Manik saw the message and was relieved that she will atleast have her meals and happy as he will be picking her up and replied

Manik : do you want to get punched before going . See I have no problem but black tuxedo and blue eye is not a great combination
