We start things off with Barry in his loft. He notices how the whole place seems to be vibrating. Barry then hears a knock on the front door as he opens it. He finds out that the Black Racer is on the other side. The Black Racer knocks Barry back and when Barry hits the ground he asked "What happened?"
Black racer then responded with "Eobard's plan was going to be fulfilled if the speed force didn't intervene."
Barry got up and looked around the room and asked "So we're in the speed force right now?"
"Yes Barry, it was the only way to make sure the Legends got away." Black Racer explained
"Ok, I don't believe you're right but if you are right why doesn't the speed force send time wraith try to deal with Thawne when he showed up and fought me and Kara?" Barry asked in an annoyed fashion
"You see Barry in this new speed force I'm the main enforcer. Besides the one who is guilty for causing all this isn't Thawne.... the man who did this is still vital to restoring the Timeline." Black Racer explained
Barry was pretty confused by all this so he said "What are the timeline changes?"
"Kara Danvers seemingly changed the night of the the Meteor. Ever since then the timeline has been altered." Black Racer told him
"No! You don't know Kara like I do. Kara doesn't want to hurt the Legends or anyone." Barry told Black Racer as he confronted him. Black Racer extend out his arm and created a scythe out of speed force energy and said "You have two choices. Grab the scythe, become me and end this today or return home either way you will be granted knowledge that will convince you to join the Legends"
"Why don't you do this yourself if it's so urgent?" Barry argued
"Because I'm simply an aspect of death within the speed force. I don't have a host that could use their free will to take away life prematurely." Black Racer explained to him
"No! I'm not becoming you. I'm not becoming death! Ever! Just take me back.!" Barry answered
"This won't be the last you see of me." Black Racer told him followed by everything fading to black
Barry then woke up on a medical bed in Star labs. He sees Caitlin and Cisco although everything is still a little foggy.
"Barry! your up!" Caitlin stated as she worked up to him as she removed the IV bag. Barry then said "Oh this weird." as he rubbed his eyes he then asked Cisco "How long was I out?"
"It's been around seven weeks dude!" Cisco told him as he was on the phone
"What is the last thing you remember?" Caitlin asked as she took of her gloves and started turning off the medical equipment
"I remember going with Alex to get the Legends but the Black Racer showed up and threw my conscience into the Speed force or something." Barry explained in confusion
"The Death speedster!" Cisco said surprised "Yeah but I don't know what to think about it yet." Barry told Cisco since he was feeling a bunch of superimposed knowledge over him as he got up. He was about to ask what day it is but the tv caught his attention. The tv had the headline "A Green Lantern of Light in the sky." With a blurry picture with a green light in the sky. He asked "What is this?"
"Well new year new heroes." Cisco commented
"They're calling him or her 'The Green light' or the 'The Green Lantern'. They have been spotted in National City, Coast City, Bludhaven and even here in Central City" Caitlin explained
"Wait it's January?" Barry asked with shock
Cisco then hanged up the phone and said "Well barely is been 2022 for like three days. I was on the phone with Iris to tell her that you're awake."
"Iris." Barry whispered to himself He then told Cisco and Caitlin "I need to talk with you two about something tomorrow followed by him super speeding out and going home." He entered his loft and saw Iris.
Iris walked up to him and kissed followed by asking "Are you even supposed to be on your feet?"
"I.." Barry then paused because it seems that the more he ignores the Black Racer's knowledge the more convincing it became he then finished with "Don't know but it doesn't matter.. I'm with you."
The next morning he went to Star labs to talk with Cisco and Caitlin. Barry was getting really paranoid since he felt as if the Black Racer's presence was with him. He was frighten when he rounded to the corner and saw Allegra in the cortex. Allegra was pretty thrown off by Barry's reaction so she replied sarcastically with "Yeah nice to see you too."
"Sorry Allegra. I just had a really bad dream last night." Barry lied as he noticed that Caitlin and Cisco were in the also in the cortex
"Sure." Allegra told him in a rather unconvinced manner
"Where's Nash?" Barry asked
"He's down at the speed lab which I should go be there it seems you guys are doing something." Allegra told Barry has she left although she knew Barry was hiding something.
"You ok dude? You're acting like Tony Stark at the start Iron man 3" Cisco commented
"Something like that." Barry told them followed by super speeding them to the Time vault
"We should be fine here." Barry told them nervously
"Yo Barry your whole 'don't let the the feds now I didn't pay my taxes' vibe is a little freaky." Cisco commented
"This is going to sound crazy but ever since my encounter with Black Racer I have been hearing.. I don't thoughts or voices." Barry explained as he paced around the room
"You sound schizophrenic." Caitlin commented
"I'm not though. The Black Racer superimposed me with this knowledge. I think Kara is evil or something. "Barry told them
"Yeah you've lost it." said Cisco in reaction to Barry statement
"Listen it's complicated okay. I need some time to gather evidence, just give some time." Barry pleaded with Cisco and Caitlin
"Fine, take your time but you kind of need to be somewhere right now." Caitlin told him
"Where?" Barry asked in stress since he feared the worst
"You see J'onn has been covering for you and since your up you have to meet up with Lena at L corp. It's about some forensic reports." Caitlin explained
"Great ." Barry said sarcastically followed by opening the time vault and heading to L corp. Once he got there he entered Lena's office where Lena was sitting at her desk.
"Glad you could make it." Lena told followed by her signaling him to sit. Barry he did and noticed that he was slightly less panicked as if talking to Caitlin and Cisco helped him out. "Yeah totally. So what is this about?"
Lena then gives Barry two documents and says "It's about the forensic reports on Helena and Curtis."
Barry then freaked out as he heard the names but worse was when he saw the trauma both of them sustained "These traumas are.." Barry was saying with Lena finishing his sentence by saying "Inhuman yes, I was theorizing that since Deathstroke was here it's possible he did it."
"Via the means of the mirakuru super strength." Barry affirmed in an attempt to guess where Lena was going with the information
"Exactly! What do you think?" Lena told him
Barry had worked with mirakuru before and he knew this was above that level of strength. He knew this was a possible lead on making a case against Kara. "Um yeah I mean that's clearly our most possible explanation" As Barry was giving her the documents he said "Um can I have a copy of these files? You know for CCPD."
"Well if that's the case just let me get a copy of these real." Lena told Barry followed by her getting up and leaving her office . " Barry got up to walk around the room and saw the open door he saw Kara and said in a startled fashion "Kara!"
Kara hugged him and said "Caitlin told me you woke up yesterday." Barry was really nervous so he really didn't respond Kara backed off and asked "What did the legends do to you?"
"It's nothing I.... I think the Black Racer came back and attacked me." Barry told Kara as he started to keep his cool
"That monster came back! Here I though it was Wally or something." Kara told him
"Where's Wally? Barry asked with worry
"He's locked up at the DEO for helping the Legends." Kara told him as if it was good news. Before Barry could continue the conversation Len walked into the room and gave Barry the documents
"Well thanks Lena but I should get going. and give you two the room" Barry told her as he grabbed the files
"Just know you're welcome to come by at any time." Lena told Barry followed by Barry leaving slightly in a rush
Barry then went to work and started to read up on everything he missed. He started noticing that most reports of "The Green Light" were actually out of Coast City. He discovered that the Legends had gone to ground and haven't been spotted since the raid. He read some of Saffron Bell's FBI reports that were public. Out of nowhere Barry is hit with the realization that Mia is on the run. He intended on finding a way to give Mia immunity after the raid so he grabbed his phone and called her but got no respond. Joe then walked into the room and said "Well it seems you're trying to get up to speed on everything."
"Yeah I noticed there has been an increase in missing people." Barry told him
"Sadly we haven't gotten any leads, at best every missing person has a troubled past but nothing obvious." Joe told him. As Barry heard this he had an idea so he asked Joe "Do we know we when and where they went missing?"
"Yeah but the files haven't been digitized." Joe told him
"That's fine I can still compare them and extrapolate a possible place where these people are being kept if these are kidnappings." Barry explained
Joe critiqued "Kind of a stretch, don't you think?"
"Doesn't hurt to try." Barry told him
At DEO interrogation room
We have Mia who is handcuffed to the table. She has a bored look on her face as Alex is pacing around the room.
"Are we done now?" Mia asked with boredom. "No! You have to know something about Sara's location." Alex told her firmly
"If I knew something I would've set it, like a couple interrogation ago. Plus as far as interrogations go this is child's play." Mia told her
"I don't want to hurt you Mia I just want answers. You have to stop protecting those criminals." said Alex with authority
"Someone set Sara up. She didn't try to kill Kara!" Mia told her defensively
"If that were true, She should've just brought herself in." Alex argued
"Fine whatever. Can I go now?" Mia told her. Alex then told the guards to escort her back to her cell. Once she got there Mia tried meditating. She was trying to recall her original time but she still didn't have a clear image of anything at best she could visualize events but not the people in those events the only person she can recall is William. She thinks it's because William is the only one who exist in the present.
Back with Barry he starts reading report of a 'Red Goatman" they're some pixelated images of a red light with long goat horns. He looks up all the locations and seems the Green light and the Red Goatman appear around the same places. Barry finds a possible place where the missing people could be. He decides to walk there instead of super speeding. As he walks around he sees a building to his left light up from the inside with a red glow. He takes cover around some bushes as he tried to look into the building then out of nowhere Barry sees green energy surround him and now he is seemingly inside a cube. He looked around a saw a man land in front of him and says "Do you have anything to do with whoever is in that building?"
"What? No I'm just CSI names Barry Allen." Barry explained. The man then responded with "Then stay out of this." The man then flew into the building Afterwards Barry suited up and super sped into the building. We see all the missing people. Barry super speed them to CCPD. When he came back he saw the green and red light fly out of the building and fight as they ended up in the outskirts of the city. Barry super speeds to the the lights. When he gets there he says "Need some help... Green light?"
The man blasted the figure within the red light back and said "I prefer Green lantern." Green lantern then recognized the voice a said "You're Barry the CSI guy!"
"No I'm the Flash!" Barry told him defensively. "Oh come on I was just talking to you!" Green lantern argued
"Well we were masks for a reason!" Barry told him
"Fine whatever." Green lantern told him as his mask disappeared "Names Hal Jordan. Now we're even Barry" Hal (Sam Claflin) told him followed by his mask reappearing Barry responded with "This is so irresponsible!" Although the next thing Barry saw was a light construct of a small spaceship speeding towards them and running over Hal. Barry was then able to get a clear look at the flying red figure and saw that he really looked like a humanoid goat.
"What the hell is that?" Barry asked Hal. Hal got up and said " That's Skallox and I'm here to stop him!" Hal then made a giant hammer and rushed at Skallox. Skallox then created a bunch of red orbs and threw them at Hal. "Try and stop this!" Sakllox told him. Hal couldn't stop them all so he got knocked back.
"Can you make me a ramp?" Barry asked Hal. "On it!" Hal told him. Followed by a green ramp appearing in front of Barry. He ran up it and super sonic punched Skallox. Skallox then got up and hit Barry with a red beam of pure rage. As the beams power intensified Hal said "Flash here! My ring my rules." Hal's ring then went to Barry and said "Barry Allen you have the ability to outrun great fear." the ring went on Barry. Through the speed force he was able to understand how the ring works and he generated a wall to stop the laser he then made himself a jetpack and rocketed at full speed at Skallox and hit again with an extra powerful super sonic punch. After Barry landed the ring went back to Hal.
"Thanks for the help.." Hal was saying only see Skallox flying at them. Hal then created a rocket around Shallox and sent him into space. "He was kidnapping people to find new Red Lanterns recruits but he'll probably be back after reporting to Atrocitus but hopefully this sector of the galaxy is safer" Hal told him
"So you're part of some sort of space police. That's kind of cool." Barry commented
"Hey I know we just met but I kind of need a favor." Hal told him. "Sure, what is it?" Barry responded "I'm looking for someone." Hal told him "Who?" Barry asked "The guardians call her the last daughter of Krypton." Hal answered
"Well then things got a lot more interesting." Barry commented
Afterwards both of them went to Star labs. They walk in with casual clothes and spot Caitlin and Cisco
"Guys this is Hal. Hal this is Caitlin and Cisco." Barry said with excitement
"Great but who is he?" Cisco asked since he didn't get the urgency of this meeting. Hal then called the ring to him and his Green lantern suit was on him.
"You're the Green Lantern!" Cisco exclaimed with shock
"How did you get your powers?" Caitlin asked
"I got them after testing a prototype aircraft went sideways I ended finding a dying alien who granted me with with this power ring." Hal explained
"and that's not you all. Look at these documents on Helena's and Curtis' death. There is inhuman trauma way worse than even mirakuru and Hal here is on a mission." Barry added
As Cisco was reading the documents he said "Go on."
"The Guardians ,they're a super smart and powerful race of aliens. They think the last daughter of Krypton has been trying to control earth. I have been sent to find out about her and report back to the Guardians" Hal explained
"See at bare minimum we should at least keep our guard up with Kara." Barry told him. Hal then asked "Who's Kara?"
Caitlin responded by displaying footage of Supergirl and saying "The last daughter of Krypton which you're so eager to find."
"In fact you should know her she was in that National city High school with you." Barry added as an image of Kara with glass was displayed "So do you know her" Barry asked
"Oh she must of dyed her hair. Yeah I remember her." Hal stated which Caitlin replied with "No that's Alex Danvers."
Hal then said "Yes Alex, I didn't know her well but she was cool." Barry hen said "You don't remember a Kara Danvers do you?"
"Yeah I've never seen that woman in my life." Hal admitted awkwardly
"Well your going to meet her tomorrow so look around the place and pick a sleeping quarter." Barry suggested followed by Hal leaving. Caitlin then asked "Are we going to tell the team?"
"No this stays between us for now." Barry said followed by the three of them leaving. When they all left we see Allegra walk into the cortex as she was writings some notes down on a notepad. Allegra then said "The truth always prevails" Allegra overheard everything. She then located the forensic document that Cisco left and took pictures of them with her phone. She then headed to her apartment and starts writing on her laptop with the headline 'Supergirl's true colors' Allegra understood why the team wanted to keep this under wraps but she knew that this was going to be the story of the century.
The next day Hal and Barry went to Jitters. Barry just paid for their coffees and Hal commented "You know I never thought you by able to pay stuff with your phone."
Barry gave him his coffee and jokingly said "Well the future is now old man."
"Anyways. You sure your friend Kara isn't mistaken? I feel like I would've remembered if Alex had a sister." Hal told Barry. As Hal was saying this Kara walked into Jitters and Barry said "Well it's the moment of truth." He then told Kara "Hey Kara this my friend.." Barry by Kara who said "Jordy!" as she hugged Hal she then backed off as Hal told Barry "I guess you weren't mistaken. Before I joined the air force everyone just called me Jordan."
"What happened I though you died in a test pilot accident." Kara asked as she grabbed Hal's shoulders
Hal was a little uncomfortable by Kara's whole attitude but he replied with "Uhh the US military faked my death. You know I'm just that good."
"Oh trust me I know you're that good. Anyways you remember me right? Kara!. I helped you with your chemistry homework." Kara told him
Hal thought back but still couldn't connect the dots so he just lied by saying "Yeah without you I probably would've failed that class."
"Well can you let me talk with Barry for second?" Kara asked. Hal gladly walked away followed by Kara telling Barry in a strict way "Since when do you know Jordy and why didn't you tell me?"
"It's complicated you see his wife.." Barry was saying only to have interrupt by saying "I used my x ray vision he doesn't have a ring.' worry then hit Kara and she asked "Does he have a girlfriend?"
"No he's single. What I meant to say is that his brother's wife had her car robbed and reported it to CCPD and so we meet when he passed by." Barry lied
Kara then asked "How long ago was this?" Barry replied with "Uhh around November."
with the legends in the arrow base
We have Nyssa and Sara sparing while Ava reads up on what's happened with Supergirl. Although she can't help but over hear Sara and Nyssa who are talking as they spar.
"When did you learn that?" Ava heard Sara ask but she rested the temptation of looking at them. She then heard Nyssa respond with "The league of heroes has gone far beyond what my father ever did. You should let me train you sometime."
Ava the lost it and turned around and said "I'm reading over here!" Sara and Nyssa both stop sparring and look at Ava. Sara then says sarcastically "Okay great."
Behrad walks in and says "You know this is a little crowed don't you think."
"Well ever since we lost Rory we lost our ace in the hole so getting the Waverider back is near next to impossible. So we have to keep our heads down while Talia and Emiko work on locating Rory and Mia" Sara explained
Mick then walked down from the up stairs are with a fancy beer bottle in his hand saying "Hey this guy wants to talk with us."
Sara then asked "Who?" only see the man walk down the stairs "Hello Sara." Said Lex Luthor
