Jensen and I just got back home from our honeymoon. Those two whole weeks were wonderful and we tried to make the best out of it. Everything was amazing and we didn't argue not even one time in these two weeks. It was the most amazing two weeks of my life. But on the return didn't go that well. Now, Jensen has 'Airplane ears'. It seems like his experience with airplanes and flights wasn't enough this time to prevent it, so during the landing his ears got clogged and now he can't hear a thing. He tried the usual small tricks that always work on him if that happens but right now nothing worked. It's driving me really mad that I need to yell for him to hear me and knowing that this can last even for days... Maybe I'll start texting at the end or I'll lose my voice.
"I told you that I'm fine now" he repeats and I roll my eyes. "Yes, I might had a problem when we got here but I'm fine now. I can hear you loud and clear" he continues
"Really?" I ask loudly
"Yes" he says
"Ok, then what am I saying now?" I say in a normal volume
"What?" he asks
"Exactly" I say louder. "I'm gonna go upstairs and get our things out of the suitcases, ok?" I continue
"Ok. Do you need help?" he asks
"No, you sit tight" I say and he nods sitting on the couch.
"Wait, I know what you're doing" he says "You are whisper so you make me think that I can't hear just to prank me" he continues
"Yeah, sure" I say just so he stops talking. He turns the TV on and increases the volume a lot higher. "If I'm not going to kill his stubborn ass today, I better get a good reward for my patience" I whisper to myself as I go up the stairs.

When I was done, I headed downstairs. Jensen had turned the TV off and was getting up from the couch. "Hey, I'm gonna go to bed" he says
"Ok, goodnight" I say as I sit down
"Aren't you gonna say goodnight? Are you mad?" he says. I take a deep breath and I look at him as calm as I can
"Goodnight my love" I say much louder "Don't turn the light off, I need it" I continue.
"Do you need the light or can I turn it off?" he asks
"Do you need your head or can I chop it off?" I ask under my breath
"What?" he asks
"I said that I need it" I yell as I turn the TV on again
"Ok, you don't need to yell" he says and I look at the TV . He turns the light off and goes upstairs. I lay my head back on the couch and I pretend to cry desperately.
I turn the TV off and I get up from the couch. I grab my keys, wallet and I leave the house as quiet as I can. Like he can hear me... I got some drops from the pharmacy and returned home. I went to the room and Jensen is sleeping on his side. I open the small bottle and I drop three drops in his right ear. He kinda felt it so he turned to his other side. "That makes it much easier" I whisper to myself. I drop three more drops in his left ear and I let the bottle on my nightstand.

The next morning, I wake up but turning to the side, I see that Jensen isn't there. I take a deep and I feel my throat already sore. The door to the room opens and Jensen comes in carrying a tray with breakfast. "Good morning. I hope I didn't wake you up" he says
"No, you didn't, don't worry" I say as he walks to the bed. He sits next to me and lets the tray on the bed. "Wait, you heard me?" I ask
"Yes, why?" he asks. "Ok, ok, I may had a problem yesterday but today I'm great. I have better hearing than Superman" he says.
"Ok. Take this, Superman..." I say handing him the small bottle with the eardrops "...and put three drops in each ear in a couple of hours" I say
"What? Why? Did you see me put anything in my ears last night? It happened on its own" he says
"No, I did when you were asleep. But because there are almost 8 hours after I did it and since you're a big boy now, you can do it yourself or your ears will be shut again, got it?" I ask
"Ok Dr Ackles" he says and kisses me. "By the way, that's why I was dreaming that it was raining..." he says looking down at the small bottle and I chuckle which caused me to cough a bit. "Are you ok?" he asks
"Yeah, my throat is just a little sore from all the yelling yesterday" I say
"Sorry" he says and kisses me. "I'm gonna go make you some tea with honey instead of coffee and I'll be right back" he says and gets up.
That's why I love him. He might be stubborn but at the end he takes his responsibilities and tries to fix his messes. "Jensen?" I say and he turns around before leaving the room
"Yeah?" he asks
"I love you" I say and he smiles
"I love you too" he says. He comes back on the bed, he kisses me quickly and leaves.
