- You groaned as you stand up. The last person you killed using a magic weapon was back when you were fourteen. It truly is nostalgic to go against one again -
"You dare speak to our God like that! Yet, you can't even handle a magic sword!" The knight laughs, you just shrug his insult off, hearing so many knights boast, made you immune to it
- In an instant, you disappear and appear behind him, wanting to cut his head clean off, but he proved to be a worthy fighter. The knight, out of instinct, raised the magic sword to block the hit, breaking it. The knight retreats -
"You destroyed my magic sword! Do you know how hard it is to make one! But I guess they'll just provide us with more as long as we keep paying them." The knight says, this piques your interest
'Who would make so many magic swords?' You thought to yourself, but it was cut off by the knight laughing
"Well! It's been fun, but God Ares is waiting for me!" He declares, to your surprise, he pulls out another magic sword, also with fire magic
- He swings the sword releasing another stream of fire towards you. He smiles, but it was quickly gone when he sees your scythe emitting a fiery glow. You swung your scythe and fire came in the form of a sickle. The two projectiles hit, but rather than hitting each other and exploding. Your fire sickle cut through the knights projectile before absorbing it, making it faster, stronger, and larger in size. It hit the knight burning off parts of his armor before sending him flying before colliding into a nearby house -
"*whistles* Whoa! Ptah did a good job on this!" You say awestruck, swinging your scythe in a circular motion as you walk towards the knight
"H-how!" The knight said in confusion
"Easy! When my scythe collided with your magic sword, it did not just break it, it also absorbed all the magic inside it." You explain, the knight's eyes widen as he hears this
"B-but how!? We were the only ones who could make magic weapons!" The man shouted in confusion
"That's what happens when your mind only revolves around your Kingdom and your God." You say to him, as you point the axed end of your scythe to his throat
"Now! Tell me who made those magic weapons!" You shout at him
"I'll never tell! You can kill me if you want!" The knight shouts back at you
"You know? Before, I would just clamp bear traps to my hostages to get them talking, but now that I have a whole array of different killers at my disposal. I can torture you in so many ways!" You say sinisterly, the knight gulps in fear
- You took out the Plague pendant and crushed it in your hand, smoke engulfed the area, a slender woman appeared -
"Hohoho! Things are about to get gruesome!" You say as you forcefully open his mouth
*WARNING*(Sorry for those who are reading this while eating)*WARNING*
- You winked at Plague, signaling her to start, she goes closer to the knight before puking inside his mouth, before making him forcefully swallow it, you let him go as he tries to puke it out but to no avail -
"W-what did you make me swallow!" The knight shouted in fear and disgust
"That my friend is the Plague. It will slowly rot you from the inside! Now! Will you tell me who made the magic weapons in exchange for this?" You say as you held up a vial with red liquid inside
"The Crozzo's! They got a skill that helps them make these kinds of weapons!" He hurriedly answers, wanting the antidote
"The Crozzo's, huh? Interesting. Here!" You say before throwing the vial, he swiftly drunk it before sighing in relief
- You walk away before looking back at him with a cheeky smile -
"Have fun dying!" You say, waving at him like a kid
"But you gave me the antidote!" He replies back, confused
"That's not the antidote! That's the blood of one of your knights!" You say at him while laughing
- That angered him, he started throwing curse words at you, you just watch him panic, still having that cheeky smile -
"You fucking monster! You'll get what you deserve! God Ares will mak-." He started before his head was crushed by Oni's large hand
- You look at him, satisfied with your work, you turn around and see Ryuu looking at you in disgust, the two of you started to head back to Orario -
"You could've just killed him! Why did you have to make him swallow puke! That's disgusting!" She shouts, punching you repeatedly on the shoulder
"You're the one that decided to watch! By the way, how's the other village?" You reply with a smug smile, before asking
"They're saved now. The knights that attacked there weren't as many." She explains
"How many of those do you have?" She asks
"Twenty." You casually answer
"Can you get more?" She asks, this sparks an idea in you're head
"Wait!" You say excitedly
- You raise your right hand before saying rise, but nothing happened, you slumped your head in defeat -
"I guess 20 is how far I'll go." You sadly say
"It's fine! You're strong enough as it is!" She comforts you, patting you in the back
- You look up, both of you stare at each other, admiring each other's facial features, but after a few seconds, Ryuu looked away, her cheeks are suddenly kissed pink as a spring rose -
"So, uh, I guess this is the last time we'll go together on a mission." She awkwardly says with a hint of sadness
"After seeing those douchebags use magic weapons, I think I'll stick around for some more missions!" You happily say, Ryuu, out of pure happiness, hugs you and starts happily jumping up and down, different from her always stoic expression and monotone voice
- Ryuu quickly realized what she was doing and hurriedly let go before turning away, hiding her blush that now rivaled the color of a rose. You let out a chuckle at her cute antics -
