"Everything is ready for tonight." I inform.
He looks up at me and drops the pen he was holding. He nods and goes back to sign more papers. "How about your dress?" He asks.
"Emily delivered it this morning." I respond.
"I want to see it on you." He states.
I come back to his room with the dress on and only then realize how small yet expensive this thing was. It was blood red pretty long but tight, enhancing my figure perfectly. "It's a bit itchy." I whine.
He rolls his eyes at my complaint. "It's fine. It looks fine on you." He comments.
"Just fine? That's all it looks? Just fine?" I question, pretending to sound offended.
He smirks, gets up from his table and walks towards me. "I'm afraid if I told you how I actually think it looks, it'll end up with you cheating on your boyfriend."
I bit down on my lip. "Don't you think you should get ready as well?" I force out trying to end the awkward silence.
He shrugs. "We still have 4 hours. I'll get ready in 3 hours."
"It takes roughly an hour to get there and the traffic isn't going to be kind to us tonight." I inform him while chuckling.
He genuinely smiles at me. "Thank you for helping me with this event."
"You're saying it like I did you a favour. It's my job to Vincenzo." I quickly realize I called him by his first name and correct myself but before I can get the words 'Mr Varallo' out, his lips crash against mine causing me to be left speechless.
His hands come down to my waist and I finally accept his embrace and put my hands behind his neck. I've missed his lips so much. The way they managed to do so much by one action only.
Without permission, he quickly brings his hand down to my ass and smacks it causing me to gasp in shock only for him to shove his tongue down my mouth. I should have hit him for that but I couldn't help myself anymore.
He attempts to pull up my dress so he could probably finger me but the stitching rips and the dress is ruined. I push him away. "Vincenzo!" I yell in annoyance. "Do you know how expensive this dress probably is? Aurora is going to sue me!"
He only had a smug look on his face. "Speak you asshole." I command, still trying to pull the fabric together.
"It's not that bad, Arabella. Just go wear another dress you have." He comforts walking towards me.
"Get away from me before you get bitch slapped." I warn. "And you don't get it? I don't have rich and fancy clothes like you people. I grew up in an orphanage. This is my first job." I rant. "And come to think of it, how the hell did I get this job if I've never worked before?"
"I don't know." He trails blankly.
"You don't know?" I mimic. "You're the one who hired me and you've just made me cheat on my boyfriend. That just makes me a slut, just like Aurora said."
"Can you please stop talking? You're giving me a headache and I'm sure as hell the whole world can hear you. I'm sorry I kissed you but it's not my fault you can't resist me. Go fucking change and get ready, I'll pay Aurora back and meet you downstairs." He orders, annoyed.
I sigh and just do as I'm told and make my way back to my room to get ready.
