"Its positive..." Kori tells Kacey as she feels her stomach drop to her ass. For some reason she was feeling disappointed in herself even though her and Kapri used a condom every time they did have sex.
"What?!" Kacey grabs the test from her forgetting that this was Kori's pee she was touching as she looked at the test that read positive. She was kind of nervous but their were other test there and some test didn't always give off the right information.
"Check the other five." Kacey tells Kori as she still looks at the test in shock.
Kori picks up one test looking at the test as her face drops from the frown she had before. She looks at the others before she releases a sigh of release.
"They're all negative."
"That's good but sometimes it could still be a misunderstanding and this one test probably is telling the truth."
Kori pushes Kacey's shoulder rolling her eyes, "Well, damn, you gotta be a negative Nancy all the time?"
"Sorry." Kacey apologizes. "I'm just saying make sure you go to the hospital so you can know for sure if you're with child or not. I'm just saying cause I would know cause I've been through the experience."
Kacey waited in the living room for Kori who was cleaning the bathroom, Kori was going to wait until the morning to make an doctors appointment because she needed to know if she was pregnant or not. Of course Kacey was going to go with her because she didn't want her to be alone.
While Kacey looked for something to watch, Kori sat down next to her. "Something's bothering you."
Kacey turned her head, "What're you talking bout?"
"You just sitting here looking into space on the guide, so I know obviously something is wrong, Talk to me."
Kacey sat Indian style as she sighed, "Do you think I'm embarrassing myself? Or I'm just thinking too much on the situation."
"What do you mean embarrassing yourself, how would you be doin that?" Kori genuinely asked confused by that question.
"She told me that I was basically embarrassing myself by being with Montana and that she slept with him knowing we were together."
"Oh my god, Kacey. You're really gonna let what some low bitch said get to you. Obviously she's trying to get under your skin."
"Well it's working!" Kacey stressed moving her curly mane out of her face. Kacey couldn't help but think about what Charisma said.
"You don't think what she said was true?"
"No...but you do, because if you didn't you wouldn't be making a big deal out of it."
"I just," Kacey scratched her head. "I don't know what to do." At this point Kacey was stressed and didn't know what to do or think. The only good thing is she had therapy the next day so she could hopefully open up and get the help everyone wants her to get.
"Just because you take him back doesn't make you stupid."
"Yeah, you're right." She agreed, "That doesn't make me stupid but him having a baby on me does."
"You don't even know it it's his baby yet, you need to stop thinking negatively."
"I'm trying but it ain't workin' he didn't deny sleeping with her so it could be his baby and if it is I don't know what I'm gone do."
"You need to stop thinking so hard on it and if you do just go talk to him. No arguing, speaking over each other, communication is key."
24 hours later, Kori wasted no time making an appointment with her doctor to find out it she was pregnant or not. Good thing her doctor was able to schedule an appointment for her that same day, Kori didn't know how to feel. Babies were blessings and all but her and Kapri had only been together for a couple of months. She didn't want to be just another baby mother but in fact a wife first.
She was sitting down nervous waiting on her doctor to come back with her results, she could feel the butterflies forming from how nervous and scared she was.
She took a deep breath once her doctor finally walked back into the room with a folder in her hand, this was the moment of truth.
"So..."
"We got your results back and you're indeed not pregnant."
Kori sighed in relief at hearing those words not, she was not ready to be a mother and she didn't want to put any more pressure on Kapri than he already had.
This for Kori was a one time pregnancy scare and she didn't want to have to go through that again. Her doctor was able to prescribe her with birth control and that was all so she was able to go on about her day.
Kori walked outside and found Kapri's car, since he insisted on picking her up.
"Good morning." Kori pecked Kapri's cheek once she got inside the car.
"Morning." He looked up from his phone to her. He had just came from the studio with Montana and they had been up all night, surprisingly he wasn't tired and offered Kori a ride home.
"How was your day?" She questioned grabbing her seatbelt.
"It was straight, even though it just started, how was yours?"
"Good, so far you can say?"
"How come? And you ain't tell me why you had a doctors appointment?"
Kori looked at him who was staring back at her. She was kind of caught off guard because she didn't expect for him to ask that. But she wasn't going to lie to him about it, just because she didn't want to base their relationship off of secrets.
"Uhm, I had to confirm If I was pregnant or not." She says nervous as he stared at her with his normal facial expression. She couldn't tell if he was scared, nervous or anything.
"And?" He asked nonchalantly awaiting an answer to if she was pregnant or not.
"I'm not, yesterday I took some test and they all came back positive except one and I needed to know for sure, but we're all good."
"That's cool, least you kept it a buck wimme."
"It's no point in lying about something like that, and it's not serious, since I'm not pregnant."
"You going home or you want to drop you off somewhere."
"Yeah, to your house." She chuckled, "Unless you're busy or something."
"Gotta go upstate, but I can drop you off at the crib and you could wait till I get back, your choice."
"Yeah, sure." Kori shrugged, "How is she?"
"She been doing good." He replied, knowing she was referring to Alyssa. "Baby ain't been giving her no trouble and we find out the gender in two weeks." Kori could see the smile forming on his face.
Kori couldn't help but to smile seeing how talking about the baby made him smile. "That's good. What're y'all hoping for?"
"I want a lil boy, she don't really care that much just as long as the baby healthy."
"Is there going to be a gender reveal?"
"Nah."
"Baby shower?" She raised her eyebrow.
He chuckled, "I don't know yet, we ain't talk bout that yet, she ain't that far along yet. Why you asking all these questions?"
She played with the bracelet on her wrist before narrowing her eyes at him and said, "I don't wanna be that girl but I just think it would be weird if y'all did have a baby shower."
"How would It be weird?"
"Because you guys aren't together and I would be there and your family would—"
"Would what?" He interrupted her as he placed his phone in his lap, "Look at you some kind of way, who the fuck care as long as you already know wassup with us."
"Babe.."
"Kori, I ain't bout to argue with you cause you feeling some type of way about a fucking baby shower."
"What? How would you expect me to feel!" Kori sniped, "You're gonna pretend like you're a big happy family with her while I stand back having to watch that."
"You' acting childish, you wasn't thinking bout none of that when we got together."
"Yeah, because I tried to push the thought away that you were having a baby by a girl you were sleeping with on the regular."
"Man look, if she decides she wants to have a baby shower we having one and that's it, I'm not talking bout that shit no more."
"Just take me home." She muttered folding her arms aggressively as she leaned her head on the window.
"You mad...?"
Instead of answering him she continued looking at nothing in particular outside.
Kapri sucked his teeth not bothering to ask her anything else.

"Come on." Alyssa calls out to Mia who was sitting down laid up with her great grandmother. Alyssa had been calling her so they could go to their doctors appointment and Kapri had already been waiting awhile outside.
"I don't wanna go mommy." Mia whined as she jumped up and down.
"Stop stomping! I don't care if you don't wanna go, you don't wanna know the gender?" She asks and Mia shakes her head. Alyssa sighs, "I hope you know grandma ain't taking you for ice cream so if you don't come you won't be getting no ice cream and I won't be bringing any back for you, I don't care how many times you call."
"Fine." Mia huffs giving a little eye roll as she got off the couch.
"Mia.." Alyssa gives her a look as Mia walked to her room to get her jacket. "Meet me outside!"
Alyssa walks outside to a Kapri who was leaning on his car on the phone with somebody.
"Kori, pick up the phone." Alyssa hears him say as he hangs up the phone and she chuckles.
"Trouble in paradise?" She raises an eyebrow as she walks to the passenger side.
"Nah, we straight." He lies placing his phone in his pocket. "Mia coming?" He asked as he leaned from off of his car opening the car door for Alyssa taking her by surprise.
"Thank you." She smiles, "And yeah she's getting her jacket."
Their conversation ended there and Mia was taking too long so Kapri went and got her since Alyssa was too exhausted too.
"What you over there smiling bout?" Kapri glances over at Alyssa and happened to catch her grinning hare.
"The hell you mean what I'm smiling about." She chuckled, "Were about to find out the gender, I'm excited as hell, I have butterflies."
"You sure them butterflies ain't from something else?" Kapri jokes with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah right." She laughed. "You been thinking about any names for the baby? Boy or girl names?"
"For a boy I was thinking Kapri Meeks Jr..."
"Junior? Boy you wish."
"Nah, I'm just fucking with you." Alyssa eyes widened as she looked back at Mia who was on her phone not paying them attention. She playfully rolled her eyes as she put her attention back on him.
"I know for a fact she be cussing already. You know Joyce and George already be saying shit like that. Them old folks love to cuss." Alyssa laughs at him and he goes back into the names he had in mind.
"Boy, I was thinking Osias ."(o-sy-us)
"Osias, I like it. Never heard that before. What about a girl."
He shrugged his shoulders, "Ain't think about one."
"Yea, cause you're so sure it's a little boy."
Kapri stopped at a red light as he adjusted his seat back more."I know it is. Let's bet on it."
"You wanna bet on it?" Kapri nodded his head. "Alright, if it's not a boy when I drop the baby you have to stay at grans house with me Atleast for a month helping with the baby, because I need to catch up on the sleep I ain't getting. Okay?"
"Aight, I can work with that. If it's a boy you could either take me and Mia out to dinner or cook for us maybe a week."
"A week? Okay, that's fine with me. Pinky promise?" Alyssa held out her pinky as Kapri looked down.
"Pinky promise, deadass." Kapri's pulls off from the long red light.
"Yes! I'm pulling a Mia move right now."
"I got you, baby momma." He pinky promises her as she smiles.
"And ew, baby momma sounds so ew."
"What you want me to say? Mother of my child."
"Thanks for the suggestion, In fact, Yea I do."
"Okay, baby momma."
"You think you're so funny, huh?" She smiled with a chuckle as she turned back in her seat to look at Mia.
"So with the baby, we having a baby shower?"
"Yes we actually are." She shifted in her seat to look at him, "Grandma Joyce actually asked me couple days ago and she's been planning, good thing you brought it up because I was gonna forget to tell. I didn't do one with Mia, so why not with this baby." She shrugged her shoulders.
"Aight, cool, cool." He nodded his head while one hand was on the steering wheel and the other pulling at his chin hair. Alyssa peered her eyes at him as she caught his facial expression change.
"Why? You don't want one?" She raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"How you figure ion' want one when I just said aight?" He glanced at her before keeping his eyes on the road.
"Because I noticed the change in your body language. If you don't want, let me know, because for this to be your first child why wouldn't you want that?" She questioned and he sighed. "Tell me."
"It ain't that, Kori said sum shit early bout that and it got me aggravated."
"She told you something bout the baby shower?" She asked with a look of confusion and he nodded, "What did she say?"
"She was just talkin bullshit about how it would be weird for her because she my girl and you the mother of my child and she think everybody gone be looking at her some type of way but I told her not to worry bout none of dat."
"What she basically saying is she gonna be jealous because me and you are going to be there together celebrating our baby while she's in the crowd watching? Look, I like Kori and all but that's selfish of her. No offense but she already knew you had a baby on the way with me, she needs to take it up with herself that she still decided to be with you knowing that. She can only be mad at herself, honestly."
Kapri chuckles as he pulled into the parking lot of the hospital, "I feel that."
"But, there is really only one solution for her?"
"Yeah? And what's that?"
"Tell her," Alyssa snickered. "Tell her not to come. Cause she ain't bout to be at my baby shower with a pout on her face."
"Aight, chill on my shorty. Everything gone be under control by then."
"You make sure of that."

Alyssa laid on the hospital bed as Kapri stood up next to the bed she was laying on holding Mia's hand. Her doctor zoomed in on the babies genitals so they would be able to get a good look at the gender.
"Okay, so if you look right here you can tell you guys are indeed having a boy." The doctor says with a smile on her face as Alyssa smiled and looked over at Kapri who was grinning.
"Yessir!" He picked up Mia throwing her in the air, catching her. "You hear that Mia? You gone be a big sister!"
Alyssa sat back with a huge smile on her face as she watched Kapri interact with Mia. The moment right there alone made her forget about the bet they had made. Times like this made her wish that Kapri never met Kori and they could've rekindled their situation-ship they had going on. But obviously that wasn't going to happen. And of course she wasn't going to sabotage their relationship or anything because she wouldn't want that to happen to her.
If it was high school Alyssa, she would of definitely made her move already especially after hearing Kapri tell her how Kori felt about a baby shower, because it wasn't her decision and she knew the consequences of her relationship with Kapri brought onto her.
Alyssa definitely still had feelings for Kapri but she knew she would have to push those feelings away or simple move on because he seemed to actually like, maybe love Kori and he knew that she was the woman he actually wanted to settle down for. Of course she wasn't going to ask him about their relationship and how serious it was because it wasn't her business and she didn't want him to think she had any feelings for him because he moved on and she wanted him to think the same about her.
"So what you think, Shrimp Alfredo sound good to you?" Kapri held a smirk on his face.
"Serious, you really gonna make me cook for you?" She watched as Kapri leaned over whispering something in Mia's ear.
"But you pinky promised mommy." Mia gave her the puppy eyes.
Alyssa laughed, "Really you gonna use my daughter against me."
The doctor chuckled as she looked at the two, "You guys are an adorable family. I'm gonna go print out the ultrasound for you guys so I'll be right back."Not quite a family yet but you had the idea. Alyssa thought as she smiled and nodded at the doctor.

It's been two weeks since Kacey's conversation with Montana's alleged baby mama and it was the day she was going to meet with her so she could get the DNA test. Montana and her already had an conversation and she didn't want Montana no where near the girl or talking to her. Kacey didn't know what kind of games she was playing or what she her motive. Montana was going to watch the kids as she went to meet up with Charisma.
Over text Charisma let Kacey know all she had to do was bring a piece of Montana's hair or swab his mouth with a q-tip because Charisma already knew a doctor who could get the results back in a couple of days. Kacey didn't think nothing of it or care because all she wanted was to see if Montana was the father or not.
If he was she still wasn't settled on what her decision was going to be as further as divorce or trying to make it work.
Kacey arrived at the address Charisma gave her as she hopped out her car. She wanted to make this trip quick, she already didn't like the chick since their last conversation and she did not want to even see her face again. To Kacey she made her sick.
Kacey rung the bell and minutes later the door opened and Charisma stood their in her robe, "You gave me the address to your house?"
"Yeah, might as well wanna have the address when it's time to get your stepson." Charisma commented as she shrugged her shoulders. Don't punch her, don't punch her. Kacey pushed the thought aside as she ignored Charisma's petty comment.
Charisma held her hand out waiting for Kacey to give her something that could identify for Montana.
Kacey handed her the ziplock bag with a Q-tip in it.
"I also don't understand why he has you doing all of his dirty work. This ain't have nothing to do with you but here he keep sending you to come talk to me like you're his assistant. I didn't fuck you and have this baby. I fucked him, but here you are. He can't even own up to his responsibilities and he also ain't man enough to face me."
"He doesn't have to do shit until them papers come back positive. I'm his wife, and we're a team so anything you have to say to him you can say to me because you won't be talking to him." Kacey responded to her nasty remark.
"That's totally fine, wife of the year." Charisma gave Kacey a round of applause as she scoffed. "We'll have all the time to chat sooner or later. You can get off my steps now."
Kacey nodded shaking her head, she got ready to walk off but she turned back, "Just a heads up, if the test comes back negative, you will be getting sued."

"Damn shorty, what happened I thought you could cook?" Kapri joked as he walked into the kitchen that had smoke coming from the oven.
"Oh, shut up. I just forgot the pie was in there." She opens the over grabbing the tray with her oven mits. She definitely kept her promise and right after they left the hospital they wasted no time heading to the grocery store, and Alyssa thought to make desert for after their meal.
Surprisingly when they got back home Grandma and pa weren't there. She texted them and Joyce they her know they were enjoying time out with each other. Which Alyssa didn't know old people still went out on dates.
"Matter fact I told you to set an alarm." Alyssa rolled her eyes as she set the pie down.
"I thought I did—"
"Phone!" Mia ran into the kitchen from the living room with Kapri's phone. She handed the phone to Kapri as he checked the caller ID, seeing it was Kori calling from FaceTime. He accepted the FaceTime as her face popped up on the screen. He smiled seeing how beautiful she looked just laying down with a bare face...
"Wassup baby." He answered and Alyssa looked up at him but put her attention right back on the food noticing he was on the phone with someone.
"Hi honey, I thought you'd be sleep right now. Surprised you answered the phone.
"Sleep? It's only nine o'clock."He cleared his throat. "Ion' get tired."
"Well that's good, I won't be as bored as I was yesterday without you." She expressed biting her lip. "Oh, yeah. Are you having a boy or girl?"
"It's definitely a boy."
Kori gasped as she sat up in bed, "Oh my god babe. Congratulations! You must be geeked right now."
"You don't even kno." He looks over at Alyssa who was trying to get his attention. She pointed towards his plate of food as she went to sit it on the table.
"Where are you?" She questioned randomly. Her smile slowly faded away as she actually studied the background. It was not familiar to her.
"Im at Alyssa's." He answered truthfully.
"Why?"
"Im having dinner with her and Mia, is that a problem or something?"
Suddenly the phone hung up and he raised his eyebrow in confusion. The phone rang back a few seconds later this time it was from regular call.
Kori figured his phone was on speaker and did not want her next words to be on blast for everyone Well Alyssa to hear. Kapri answered the phone putting it up to her ear.
"Dinner? You didn't tell me you were having dinner with her."
"Is that something I have to tell you?" He questioned.
"No it's not, but you told me you were just going to find out the baby's gender. Did you just forget to mention y'all were having dinner too. Was this a private thing or something that I couldn't come too?"
Kapri chuckled as he looked up at the ceiling, "It was a last minute thing, why you trippin? Dinner ain't never hurt nobody."
"Why am I tripping?" She continued while furrowing her eyebrows, "I'm tripping because you haven't made time for me but you can have last minute dinner with Alyssa?
"I ain't made time for you? What the fuck are you talking bout right now? You bout to get me hot and I'm bout to hang this phone up."
"You're gonna hang up?" She reiterated. "Have fun, Kapri."
