Taehyung only had one thing in his mind and that was Jisoo. Especially, how today is finally the day he's going to ask her out, officially.
If he can fast forward time he would, he's been itching for the ceremony to finish and snatch Jisoo away, somewhere private.
Finally, the ceremony of the graduates has ended, everyone is scattered in the school gymnasium taking pictures with their families and friends.
To Taehyung's disappointment he was bombarded by his family who were so glad to see him graduate high school, not like they doubted him.
"Oh my look at my son all grown up!" Mr. Kim first spoke.
"I'm so proud of you son." His dad said warmly.
Taehyung couldn't exactly share their joy as he was so determined to escape and find Jisoo, he wants to ask her out now!
Taehyung stood tall amongst the crowded gymnasium, his eyes shifting quickly as he kept scanning the room for his person.
There, he found her.
She was smiling widely with her family, all her achievements hanging around her neck. Her parents looked at her with a proud expression on their faces and of course towards Jin as well.
Taehyung was about to take a few steps towards her when he felt his mom grab him by the shoulders.
"Where do you think you're going young man, I still need more photos!" Mrs. Kim said with conviction.
Taehyung shoulders slouched, letting out a long sigh.
Why is the universe never in my favour?!
Jisoo felt exhausted. It's been almost an hour since the ceremony has ended and for the past hour all she's done is take photos with friends and surprisingly with other students she's never spoken to before.
The medals hanging around her neck were too heavy for her liking, she felt her posture slowly hunchback and her neck feeling strained.
Smart girl problems.
One thing she found unsettling was for the past hour she hasn't seen V.
Right after the ceremony ended her family ran to her with proud smiles on their faces and other teachers congratulating her with her achievements.
Jisoo, quite annoyed, also became Jin's personal photographer at the moment. This man wanted endless photos of this day and wouldn't stop nagging her to take more.
It momentarily brushed off her mind how important this day was.
Thank god for makeup or else the dark circles under her eyes will be evident due to her lack of sleep.
How could she sleep when she knows too well what this day was?!
Today was finally the day her and V will become official, the day she's been waiting for since she was eight years old, the day she realized she liked him.
Walking away from the crowded gym, Jisoo began to walk back trying to see if she'll be able to see V from another view.
A sudden tug caught Jisoo by surprise. No sounds came out from her mouth as it was forcibly covered.
Her eyes widen upon seeing V standing in front of her, their bodies stuck like glue.
"Shhh" he whispers.
V looks around once more before shifting his hands with hers, intertwining them.
He made sure no one saw them leaving the gym, he began to lead them at the football field where it was completely empty.
The school was locked from the inside, only the gym was open for convocation so it was practically impossible for him to bring her to a private classroom.
An open field wasn't V's ideal location in mind, but this will do. It was just him and Jisoo, and that's all that mattered.
"V I've been looking for you." Jisoo voiced out once Taehyung stopped his tracks. They were now at the center of the field.
The scorching heat of the sun shining down upon them.
"I've been trying to get you for the past hour! How are you so popular now." Taehyung complained like a child.
"Were you? I couldn't even spot you." Jisoo's eyes squinted as the sun was just too bright.
"Yeah because I've been waiting for the perfect chance to get you alone for myself!"
Jisoo giggled seeing how cute V was reacting right now. She can't help but blush, she'll never get sick of seeing this side of him.
"Okay well why did you bring me here?" Jisoo knew the answer, of course. But a little teasing won't hurt, right?
V looked quite offended seeing the clueless face on Jisoo, did she forget what today was?! He wondered.
He remained quiet for a few seconds, slowly losing confidence.
Jisoo couldn't take it anymore and cupped his soft face with her hands.
"Are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna ask me out." Jisoo teasingly smiled.
V's eyes grew in diameter, "Chuuuuu" he said in a cute complaining tone.
"Man this was not how I thought this would turn out. I thought this would be more romantic" he continues to complain.
Jisoo just kept watching him, her smile reaching her eyes as she couldn't contain the happiness she felt seeing him so adorable.
"Well if you're not going to, then I will—" V immediately hushed her with his index finger.
"Kim Jisoo, will you finally please, be my girlfriend? And no I don't mean just a girl friend, but my partner, lover, and companion."
His eyes transitioned from a panic state to a soft loving gaze.
Jisoo felt her heart pounding so loudly, it's like every part of her body is activated.
She watched the way his eyes looked at her with anticipation and noticed the dripping sweats flowing down his forehead. She knows the blazing heat may be the cause of it but for sure it wasn't just that. He was nervous for her answer, she can see it with the way he already took three gulps in a span of five seconds.
Jisoo became serious, no smile or any emotion is comprehensible on her face, this alarmed him.
Wait is she going to reject me?!
V looks down feeling defeated, but before he could sulk further, he felt a painful punch landing on his biceps.
"About time you asked! When I said to wait till graduation, I thought you'd immediately run to me and ask me out once the ceremony ended." Jisoo cunningly smiled.
"Of course! Yes yes yes!!!" Jisoo finished, wasting no time to hug him.
V stood still in shock, this girl almost gave him a heart attack and now he's really going to get one from too much happiness.
Before V could hug her back, she takes a step back, grabbing his wrist.
V didn't know what was happening, overall everything has just been a blur of emotions.
Jisoo grabbed something from her pockets, something she's been treasuring for the past month.
"Perfect" Jisoo finished.
V was utterly speechless. He looked at the watch Jisoo enclosed around his wrist. It was the complete identical copy of the one he gifted her.
" You know I don't like cheesy things like couple rings, but maybe a couple watch won't hurt?" Jisoo innocently shares, fidgeting her fingers as this was a little cringy for her.
Just like that, V wraps his arms around Jisoo's thin waist, using his energy to lift her up and spin in a circle.
"AHHHHHHH I'M SO FCKING HAPPY!!!" He yells.
"V put me down and shush before people hear you!!" Jisoo began hitting him on the shoulder.
A little out of breath, he finally puts her down. He fixes the strand of hair that blocked her beautiful face, putting it behind her ears.
The two stared at one another, locking their gaze, their chest slightly rising and retiring from their rapid respirations.
Centimetres by centimetres, the distance between their lips cease.
V closed his eyes first, followed by Jisoo. A kiss to seal their relationship...
"EWWWWWWWW GET A ROOM MAN!!!" Jin shouted, finally getting out his hiding spot behind the bleachers.
The couple was surprised. One by one more of their friends came out of the bleachers completely invading their moment.
V could only glare at Jin for ruining such an important moment as well as the rest of his friends who began to tackle and tease him.
"Ayieeee I'm surprised you didn't get rejected." Jimin added.
"Omg Jisoo!!! I saw that kiss!!! Sis really is the sucking queen!!!" Lisa winked.
Oh how a beautiful moment turned into chaos.

"Stop reading people's reaction about us dating, they're happy for us" V complained as for the past half hour, Jisoo has glued her eyes to her phone.
He stares at Jisoo for a good five seconds realizing she's still ignoring him.
"Ahhhh V seriously you need to stop." Jisoo squealed helplessly as V began to tickle her in various areas as they rested on his bed.
"Seriously V I'm gonna kill you if you won't stop!"
V's smile reached his eyes, completely overjoyed. He always loved seeing Jisoo's reactions.
"Okay fine I'll stop, but give me a kiss first." He purses his lips, a small grin forms as his eyes close awaiting for Jisoo's touch.
Several moments had passed and his lips began to feel lonely.
"Bab-"
Jisoo mustered up the courage and crashed her lips onto his.
At first it was a light peck, she softly lay her lips onto his, a pure kiss filled with burning passing. One thing led to another, Jisoo felt his kisses to be addictive.
Their kiss was in harmony, moving in sync, fitting one another like a glove. No one dared to stop. Gentle yet powerful.
Gasping for breath, V regretfully breaks their touch. He leans his forehead against hers, taking his other hand to caress Jisoo's flushed cheeks.
For a second they stayed still, only their loud beating hearts filling the room.
Jisoo could only look to her side in embarrassment. His hand is on her face, the other on her waist, their chest close like magnets. This was too much skinship for her, especially since they're on his bed.
What would someone think if they walked in on them like this?!
V watched the way Jisoo began to bite her lips, her eyes wandering elsewhere. He knew too well, thoughts were occupying her mind.
"Look at me..." he said in his deep raspy voice, cupping her chin to face him.
Lost in one another's eyes,
A light chaste kiss on her forehead, transcending down to her nose, then to her lips once more.
It was short, but sweet.
This was their moment, flushed red cheeks, swollen lips, and two hearts beating for one another.
From next door neighbours to best friends, and all the drama that followed... at last, the two are finally officially together.
