Great! The only day in his working weeks, wonwoo was told by his boss, he can spend the day at home, and what happened? The electricity decided to mess his day u :).
"What the hell? I paid the bills, didn't i?"
Wonwoo was about to do ask the landlord before someone knocked on his front door and slid a paper under the door.
Wonwoo bent down to pick it up.
"For real...?"
In the paper it said, due to a problem in the electricity system, the power is going to be shut down from 9AM to 4PM.
"Are you kidding me!?"
Wonwoo sighted, crumbled and threw the paper in the trash bin.
"Fuck my day..."
Approaching the balcony, wonwoo leaned against it. Just in time for a cold breez to brush through his soft coffee brown hair.
"You're not off to work?"
Startled at bit, wonwoo turns his head to face the guy who's resting his hand, a lit cigarette between fingers.
"MingMing!"
"Who allowed you to call me that?"
Noticed how rude he was, they aren't even friends yet. How careless of him
"I'm sorry...i won't vall you that anymore..."
Glanced at the guy, mingyu let out a cloud of white smoke.
"You know I'm your hyung, right?"
"Yes?"
"I said I'm your hyung, mingyu. You're 24 right?"
Wonwoo asked.
"Well, yeah, but how old are you?"
"I'm 25."
"Are you sure you're 25?
"How old do i look like to you then?"
"Umm...younger than me?"
"Are you saying that I'm short?"
"Well...kind of..."
Mingyu said in a smirk.
"Bro, I'm not that short, im litterally 180 cm (5'9 feet)! You're just tall!"
Seeing Wonwoo's annoyed face, makes Mingyu smirk a bit, but the guy quickly hid it.
"Yeah, whatever. I don't really care about it."
"Well i care about it!"
"Yeah, yeah, okay 'hyung', relaxed?"
Wonwoo made a little pout and noded. Staring at some trees across the street.
"You're not going to work?"
Mingyu opened his mouth.
"Ah, i got a day off."
"And the electricity went out on the only day off you have."
Wonwoo noded and made a sad face. Suddenly he noticed something.
"Wait, how did you know that i usually work at this time?"
Mingyu seemed to be stunned for a sec.
"Everyone goes off to work at this hour, don't they?"
"Ah...right..."
Wonwoo thought Mingyu was giving him a little attention.
"Mingyu-ah."
"Hm?"
"I was always wondering this."
"What is it?"
Mingyu raised and eyebrow.
"What is your job? I mean, you seem to often be indoors, almost like everyday. I was just thinking of what do you do for living."
Mingyu didn't answer, he just stared at wonwoo, with no emotions.
"S-sorry if i asked too much questions. You don't have to answer it-"
"You really want to know?"
The older's heart raced as he saw the guy staring at him with a smile on his face.
"I...yes! I mean, if you don't mind telling me."
"Well my job...is kinda INTERESTING."
"..."
"But i think it's better that you don't know."
"Ah....Why!? I was so curious!?"
"Ha. It's better like that, kiddo."
"Again,I am NOT a kid, for God's sake. I'm your hyung, geez..."
Wonwoo mumbled, secretly staring at mingyu who's adjusting his glasses.
"Mingyu-ah... you shouldn't smoke... it's not good for you..."
"You should stop and mind you're own business."
He got backed up a bit by Mingyu's cold words.
"But i genuinely care for you..."
Put out the lit cigarette, Mingyu goes back in to his apartment, and so as Wonwoo. Tons of thoughts in mind...
