"The second phase will take place here, in the Visca Forest Park."
"So I shall now take my leave, I wish you all the very best of luck" Satotz says and then walks off back into the forest

I can cook but I don't think I could cook something extra for Menchi
The gates opened which started everyone to look forward.
"Will all the applications who passed the First Phase please enter" Menchi says they all entered after her words
"Welcome all I'm Menchi, your examiner for the Second Phase."
"And likewise, I'm Buhara."
A woman who was wearing revealing clothes spoke and was sitting down on her chair and a thiccc man No offense who wears yellow said
Everyone stayed quiet for now and wanted to know what happens next but a loud grumble came from Buhara
"Sounds to me like your getting hungry" Menchi turns around and smiled at Buhara

"Not just hungry, in famished!"
Buhara declares.
"Well, there you have it. The Second Phase..." Menchi stands up gaining everyone attention nervously "Will be cooking" she finishes
A few applicants laughed and asked why thinking this it'll be easy
Bakas, forget them I need a idea what to make maybe something from food wars?
Yeaaah OH like the first episode, let's just hope they have the stuff I need
Coming out of my brain planing what I should do Buhara bangs on his stomach making a gong sound that begins the phase
While everyone went to search I went to my station to see what I had to cook
"Ok veggies, seasonings, spices, sauces, damn they even have wine here. It's like this anime wants me to make this..."
I say to myself outloud
"The only thing I really need now is a type of string to hold the food together while it cooks" I hmm with a question expression 🤔
"Ah ha! IDEA!"
"HEY girl over there! Better get moving or they'll take all the pigs!" From who I could only guess Menchi said to me the examiners spotting me
Welp just got called out
"No thanks I don't feel like getting hunted. It's better if I figure what I'm cooking first." I say which their eyes grew wide
After a little monologue and rant.. I leap to the wall near me and ran my way up to the top, jumped to the trees now tree hopping trying to find the left over pigs since I saw people already carrying their pigs.
From the distance I saw a good size pig to cook and immediately grabbed my halo and slashed its forehead killing it but not after hearing its screeching end noise
"Ha just realize it's dinnerboned.. I miss Minecraft" I laughed to myself dryly
I carried it back and tossed it to the ground thankfully everyone was paying attention to their own thing well except Killua he was just sitting their after watching half the applicants being failed by Menchi
"Don't know how to cook?" I say cutting the pig open and taking its most meat spot where the bacon was. "Not really I wasn't taught how to cook." Killua responds and looked at me washing the bacon after cutting the meat
"Right since you where raised in that mansion." I say not noticing my wording till he gave me a stink eye "That reminds me how do you know everything?" Killua asked being suspicious and walked next to me cautiously eyeing me
I can't tell him obviously, but I don't wanna lie to him either
I stop washing the vegetables and placed it with the clean bacon on the cutboard "well I can't explain it or something bad will most likely happen but if you need help in the future let me know and I can give you some pointers" I say
That's the best I can do if that otherwise I could screw a lot of things up or at least.. I think
"Tch can't say anything about it huh?" Killua sighed "yeah I understand but I do have a question now." I prepped the potatoes and minced the onions and mushrooms carefully.
"Yeah what sup?" I say not even looking where I was cutting and payed attention to Killua instead he just sweatdropped
"How are you doing that?.. I mean what are you making?" Killua mutters astonished then rephrased his words
"Oh something based off I like watching and if you want I could teach you how to cut" I say smiling and take the knife in my right hand and toss it to Killua
He was an assassin I'm sure he can learn how to cut fast
When he caught it he dropped his skateboard in the process and I grabbed his open hand more accurate left wrist and dragged him to the station and demonstrated how to cut by using his arm while my arms was overlapping his
He started blushing hard
"OI B-BAKA! Your too close!" He says looking away embarrassed I blushed my cheeks feeling warm and quickly jumped away giving him space "uh I'm uh gomen!I'm just trying to help..you know" I stuttered slowly turning into a shy Deku
"I-it's fine, I think I'm starting to get it" Killua says and quickly starts hacking down the remaining veggies
"SUGOI!! That was really fast" I say with stars in my eyes at how he picked it up so quickly "ha see I guess I already knew how to cook" Killua spoke with a smug showing off his damn cat smirk

We switched places and I went back to cooking.
I splited apart the Rosemary and crouched down and opened the cabinets pulling out a stick of butter and soy sauce
I know this food Soma cooked in food wars had wine and everything but I don't want to put that in so I'll just use soy sauce
I melted the butter in the pan and mixed the mushed potatoes with the minced onions and mushrooms together and let it sit so it would stick with the plastic wrap I balled it in
I put 3 plates on the counter and took off the plastic wrap and now wrap the potatoes with the bacons and stick the rosemary with it and grabbed the metal rod and pushed the 3 potatoes wraps into it and roasted it for a awhile I had to keep turning it so it was evenly cooked
I turn to see Leorio presenting his pig
"IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE A KIDS MEAL!!?" Menchi yells tossing the to burnt pig into the air
Caught be Buhara.
"Okay, mine is next." Gon says smiling at his also burnt pig but covered in cherry blossoms and a few pink bows
Where did he even get those? I didn't see anything flowers or bows around here
"ITS JUST LIKE THE LAST ONE!"
"The next entry's mine, ready to be judge" Kurapika shows and enters his internal monologue
I sighed nervously
And lifted the bacon wrap off the flame and carefully pushed the three sized meals on each separate plate then placed the rod back onto the flame after I turned it off
I poured butter and soy sauce in a bowl and began to stir fast, grinding, making a sauce then poured it on each potatoes roast it was steaming with heat and it.. actually looked good
I used one of the bowl as a cover for the judges and the last plate was for my friends. it was only one potato so I cut it into pieces and put toothpicks in it for them.
"Hah finally!" I say and wiped the steaming sweat off my forehead and took off my apron
"Wow it looks good"
"GAH!"
A shocked yelp came from my mouth
A random Killua pops up next to me
"A-Arigato"
"you can have the one with toothpicks I saved it for you guys" I smiled and turned to Leorio Kurapika and Gon
"Haa ha ha ha, better luck next time." Leorio sneers. Kurapika looks offended at Menchi's words as he failed "no better than 403, huh?"

I slid both plates under my hands like a waitress and walked up to Menchi and Buhara.
Menchi looked fed up with a irk on the side of her head and Buhara was enjoying himself finishing off Kurapika meal
I was shaking in nervousment
Calm down Y/N what's the worst that could happen?
I mean all she really could do was just throw my meal into the air and roast me with her words

I calm myself down and place both meals infront of them "alright let's see how this failure happens next" Menchi says annoyed twirling her O and X sign

Those actions inspired those who weren't afraid and jumped down with them which almost everyone jumped down and held on to the webs strings. Y/N was about to tell them not to considering all that weight but too late now.
"Baka's they don't even know what to do..at least they have Gon to help them" Y/N muttered to herself and peeked down along with Menchi and Chairman Netero.
"Why did they all go on the exact same web?" Y/N ask herself then turned to Menchi who was on her right "Hey Menchi~San? Do you mind if I could join in even though you passed me?" Y/N says
"Sure I don't mind" Menchi replies
"Okay thanks but I'm gonna wait until there done" you say back

I was falling for a really long time and I could tell by the smell that peoples eggs are now being boiled

I went into a cat like landing position but just in case since I'm alone for now I took of my jacket and wrapped it around my waist along with my half of clear leaf
And spread my wings, the force of the air when I spread my wings caused me to shoot up into the air, but I flew down slowly and landed in my feet.
I looked around me only to see fog except heavier I could only see a circle around me through it all
Now how am I supposed to find those idiots who fell down here?

I turned into my dragon form and screeched a echolocation from my mouth

I raced to them and quickly turned into human once I arrived
Surprisingly they weren't dead!
But they were knocked out and next to them were very smashed eggs but one egg that stayed intact hidden within the group of eggs
Guess those leaves saved them
I looked up for an escape to see a massive leave above me

I grabbed the three people and cut the massive crystal leaf that was on the side of the ravine wall with my S.H then wrapped my halo on my head again
I went over the the last guy who was farther then these guys an dragged him to the pile
The massive leaf was shaped like a maple leaf so I had to cut to the middle to wrap the people in it and attach them to the side on the leaf with my S.H wrapped and securing them as a knot and another knot on the other side like a glider
This creation was technically a glider and a hot air ballon at the same time my S.H was the beam pole that I hanged on and the people wrapped in the large leaf I tied it and attached it to my S.H making sure they couldn't fall off and the rest of the large leaf was going to be above us wind the wind blows us up
Speaking of which
The wind came a very strong wind started pushing the leaf above me and more wind rush toward it
Upwards
"Oh fuc-"
The sound of air or wind gust blew and hit the target or the only thing available to reach, the glider
"ITS ACTUALLY WORKING!"
"WOOO HOOO!" I cheered enjoying the moment I doubled check to see if everything was okay and it was
I figured if the ravine had a flooring then the wind or air must have came from the spilts sides of the mountain where wind could push through and it would meet the opposite side of the wind, pushing against itself causeing it to rise up
Which is why the Spider-Eagle give birth in the center on the ravine
I started to see the evening sky and familiar faces
"Huh?"
"Y/N!!" Gon shouted as he saw me on the glider
"Woah what is that thing?" Leorio yells as well looking towards me
I gave a closed eyes and smiled brightly at them waving "heeeeey!"
I opened my eyes again to see everyone who cared enough to draw there attention towards me
I blush in embarrassment
Damnit I'm not gonna drag more attention to myself anymore

I lean right on the glider turning me right and curved left to meet the ground once more landing by running then walking and let go of the glider dropping it and collecting my S.H and putting it on my head again
I pulled the leaf that tied the four guys together and let it fall apart and collect my egg that I kept hidden within my sleeve. My jacket was still wrapped around my waist and so I put it back on
"That was amazing Y/N!" Gon says running up to me
"Indeed I would've never thought that's how you would've gotten up" Kurapika walked next to him "What was it like down there?" Killua asked "did you go back down there just to save those guys?" Leorio ask
They all rambled at me
I became overwhelmed
"Thanks guys!"
"It was weird with the never ending fog and crystal clear leaves"
"And yes I did go back to save them and to get my own egg" I replied to their comments and shows off my egg in my hand.
I'll let Netero or Menchi have the crystal leaves since it's a 'new discovery'
"Nice work No.1!" Menchi walks towards me "We'll make sure those applicants are well after this" Netero spoke towards me
"In the meantime would you like to boil your egg?"

"Yum!" I munched down on all the white or outer parts of the egg missing the yellow center
Everyone who still had their eggs were still eating them

Todo looked down to see Gon holding a half eaten egg
"This egg is really good wanna try it?"
Gon asked Menchi heard it and looked towards them. Todo took the egg and ate a piece "it's delicious" He says "the Joy of discovering something delicious" Menchi walks to them
"That feeling is what we risk our lives for" Menchi smiles. "I lost fair in square, next year, I'll be back" Todo says accepting his defeat
Gon smiled
"Hey, Gon!" You shouted gaining his attention we came to you
"What is it Y/N?" He ask you
"Do you want the rest of my egg I'm not a fan of the yellow part I asked Killua first but he said he didn't want my left overs" You sweatdrop
"Sure thanks Y/N!" Gon took it and chowed down
