DESCRIPTION
THE PLANETS OF ASTRO AND MORAG HAD ONLY ONE SIMILARITY and that was that they were the places that guarded Infinity Stones. Astro was a planet that was sparsely populated and aside from the small pockets of people, it was mostly uninhabitable. But there was one place on the planet that, despite being in one of the few habitable zones, was left almost entirely abandoned. Almost, because there was one person who took up residence there, not out of want or desire, but of nothing else than a desperate need.
VENUS CIELO WAS AN ORPHAN. SHE HAD BEEN ABANDONED after her parents died and left to fend for herself, everyone assuming that she wouldn't survive for very long. But survive was one thing that Venus Cielo would always do.
THE TEMPLE WAS THE DRYEST AND MOST WELL PROTECTED PLACE in the habitable zone on Astro that no one had ever bothered to name for their fear of it. Venus knew that the people who had built the Temple surely had a name for it, but it was lost to time and so she called it her home. In the middle of the Temple was the room with the yellow gem in the sparkling case. It was the warmest room in the entire place, so that was where Venus set up her base.
WHEN THE PURPLE MAN CAME, VENUS WAS AT FIRST AFRAID. He came for her yellow gem and at first, she did not want to let him take it. One of the men that came with him tried to attack her when she looked like she was going to attack the man, but he stopped his guard and knelt down in front of her, offered her his hand and the chance to have a home where she didn't have to forage for her food amongst the dangerous animals on the planet.
VENUS WOULD ALWAYS REGRET ACCEPTING HIS OFFER. He hadn't lied to her, he had given her a home where she was protected from the dangerous animals of her home planet and didn't have to forage for scraps of food, but she was not safe. Thanos would use Venus to extract information out of his victims, force her to aid in their torture, watching her so-called brother take pleasure in the pain he inflicted. When she meets a certain green-eyed trickster, everything changes for Venus, leaving her unsure of what the future holds. But she knows that no matter what, she will survive.

› Venus is from the planet Astro, home of the Astrophel species. I do not have as detailed of a world for you as Annwn, mostly because the story doesn't take place on the planet, so I didn't feel that it would be necessary
› Venus is a Child of Thanos
› as stated in the summary, she took refuge in a large abandoned temple when her parents died and she was left orphaned. This temple was safe-guarding the mind stone in the same way that Morag was protecting the power stone. It wasn't theirs, but it was on the planet
› because she took refuge in the room where the stone was housed, she had long term exposure to it, and it granted her powers, all mind related for, idk, symbolism, but I'll go more into her powers, later
› when Thanos came for the stone, having found that it was on the planet, he encountered the young Venus, who had already been squatting there for a long time and had her abilities. They somewhat showcased themselves when he went to take the stone and she didn't want him to so he was like "ah, perfect, another child for me" and took her
› due to her abilities being mentally based, Thanos trained her to help with torture and interrogation since only the strongest minds are safe from her so she could draw information from victims very easily
› due to it taking time for her to master these abilities, Thanos put the mind stone in the sceptre and allowed Venus to use it in interrogation as it enhanced and helped with her abilities. But she was never allowed to take it off the ship or even out of the room it was given to her in
› so, her abilities
› Telepathy is the big one. She can get into anyone's mind and read, control or influence it. She can sense people based on their mind coming into her radius and, again, it's only people with strong wills and minds that she can't touch with her abilities. People like Thanos himself, Doc Strange and Wanda
› Telekinesis is another minor ability, one that will take much more time for her to master and use easily and freely
› she would also have abilities like empathy and mnemokinesis, the ability to manipulate memories, as she could get into someone's head and by touching on certain memories or just accessing that part of the mind, trigger certain emotions. And she could see any memories she wanted and do anything she wanted to them
› you can also choose how far these abilities go when pushed or when at their peak. I leave it up to you to decide how far, exactly, Venus can go
› so this story starts as an AU portion after the first Thor movie. After Loki falls of the Rainbow Bridge, he is found by Thanos and, for reasons not entirely clear and that you can come up with or we can workshop together, he is taken and tortured by him
› specifically, by Ebony Maw and Venus, as they are the torturers
› given that Thor takes place in 2010 and the Avengers takes place in 2012, he doesn't necessarily have to be found right after he falls off the Rainbow Bridge and the torture doesn't have to go one for two years straight
› but, regardless of that, Venus does not take well to Loki's torture in particular. She can see into his mind, see his pain aside from that inflicted on him by Ebony Maw, the things he's just been through, how when he fell of the Rainbow Bridge, he didn't intend to survive. More than any other victim prior to Loki (because this has been slowly building, each of them adding to it before culminating with Loki), she wants to do whatever she can to save him, to help him survive
› she goes to Thanos and says that he has abilities of his own, he's a talented sorcerer and given how he's basically committed treason on Asgard, he wouldn't be able to help them do anything to them (not that they could be a target while Odin lives as he's too strong), but surely he could be of better use to them instead of this mindless torture
› Thanos agrees
› he stops Loki's torture and sets out to seeing what Loki is capable of before he assigns him the task of taking Earth, giving him the sceptre to help him do so but also placing some form of mind control over Loki beforehand so that he can't pull one of his tricks and try to not do what Thanos asks of him
› this may just be me, but I would like to think that part of Loki always intended to lose in his war against Earth, believing that his brother would come to protect his favourite planet and he would be defeated and brought to Asgard as a prisoner, where he would be safe
› Venus would know this, but she would also know that he can't let it show and he's being controlled so he doesn't entirely know it himself. She would also not be allowed to go with Loki as Thanos can see the attachment growing between the two and he wants to put a stop to that
› time would go by, they would know that Loki lost and that he lost the sceptre in the process. Venus wouldn't feel too bad about this and she knows that he's safer now than he was before
› it's probably around this time that she breaks away from Thanos as well, being fed up with all of this. She's never felt accepted as a Child of Thanos, only used for her abilities. Seeing Loki get away, even in a roundabout way, would give her the idea to do it herself. She she does
› after successfully getting away, she would basically go on the run, never settling in any one place for too long so that she can't be tracked and isn't found by Thanos
› she would definitely try and go to Asgard and I think successfully get there in hopes of seeing Loki, who she knows isn't as much of a villain as he makes himself out to be. When getting there, though, she wouldn't be allowed to see him. He's a high-priority prisoner after all. But she would be allowed to stay as Odin would recognize the threat of Thanos to her and the benefit of someone with her abilities working for him
› with the Nine Realms kind of in chaos at this point, she would do her best to assist Thor, Sif and the Warriors Three in bringing peace back, leading her into being involved in Thor: The Dark World, where she is finally reunited with Loki only to watch him die
› they would grow a lot closer in the time that they spend together and romantic feelings would develop. Venus would be heartbroken by watching Loki die and stay on Earth when Thor goes back to Asgard and talks to Odin/Loki
› on Earth, Thor would probably direct her to the Avengers, but it's up to you whether or not she goes to them or not. I think she wouldn't at first, wanting to acclimate to Earth and mourn Loki. But I definitely can see Thor going to her for additional assistance when he's looking for information on his vision in AoU
› after the mess with Ultron has died down, she would go with Thor in his hunting for Infinity Stones and to find out more about them given her connection to one or she would stay with the Avengers, not necessarily a member or going on missions, but helping out and being around
› if she goes with Thor, after they are captured by Surtur, they would return to Asgard and find out that Loki is alive, go to find Odin and continue through Ragnarok. If she stayed on Earth, they would collect her before going to find Odin and then it would continue through Ragnarok
› Venus would arrive on Sakaar after Loki but before Thor by a significant amount. He would help get in the Grandmaster's good graces and it is during this time that the two would grow even more close
› by the end of the movie, probably on the ship after leaving Asgard or during the final battle, they would admit their feelings finally
› this is, of course, ruined when Thanos boards their ship and kills like a whole bunch of people that can't get away. Including Loki.
› when she sees Thanos kill Loki, Venus loses it a bit and unleashes her powers on Thanos before Ebony Maw probably knocks her out and stops her
› Venus would mourn a lot for Loki, but help take Thanos down, whatever it takes. She would stick with Thor through IW, so she would go to Nidavellir and then appear late to the Battle of Wakanda
› entirely up to you whether or not she dusts
› if she doesn't then she would break down after the battle is over and watches a bunch of people turn to dust. In New Asgard, she would become kind of a hermit, hiding in a house like Thor does and I don't see her being involved in the Time Heist
› everything else not mentioned here is up to you!
