Phoenix Sterling
I was this close to smash my phone to the wall. I called Lana every 5 seconds and she didn't even bother to answer it. I asked my guards to look for her because it's 2 in the morning now and she's not home yet. Where is she?
"Mr. Sterling, she just arrived at the lobby." One of my guards said.
"Who is she with?"
"She got out from a taxi drunk." What's wrong with this woman?
"She already took the lift." He said and I gestured them to leave. I opened my penthouse door waiting for the lift to stop. I was ready to get mad at her when suddenly the door opened showing her singing a weird song Mi Pan Zu Zu Zu. What the fuck is that shit?
She was drunk. Hella drunk to be exact and when she saw me, she giggled. She jumped on me and I caught her body right away. I brought her in and closed the door.
"Where the hell were you?" I asked as I carried her to the living room.
"I'm with the handsome prince, Adrian." She said squealing and I threw her body to the sofa. I looked at her disbelief and she giggled.
"Your friend is hot and I really like him." I will kill Adrian later on.
"We almost kissed earlier.." She said in a cute baby voice and I was ready to kill Adrian instantly.
"But then.. I called him Phoenix. Who the hell is Phoenix? Who the fuck is.. damn Phoenix?" What? She kept looking around and she sighed.
"Listen! Don't tell Phoenix okay?" She said as she pulled my body closer to her. She reached for my ear and she giggled before saying something.
"Don't tell Phoenix." She whispered.
"I won't." I said and she giggled again.
"I want to kill Phoenix." She said in a serious tone, "because how dare he.. hanging out with another women!" She screamed in my ear and I had to take a step back.
"I'm his wife! How.. freaking dare he!" Lana shouted at me and I looked at her completely confuse.
"Are you jealous?" I asked in a careful tone.
"No, I'm not jealous. I just want to smack the back of his head for cheating. I know I have a small a cup cherries." She touched both of her breast and started to get sad.
"He likes big cherries.." Lana whined like a baby and I laughed seeing her. She took a pillow and sighed.
"What if I stuff my cherries with socks? Or maybe tissues?" She took a box of tissues beside her and started putting tissue to her breast to look bigger.
"No.. no.." I said stopping her and she glared at me.
"Can you ask Phoenix if he has a hot friend? I want him to introduce me to one." She said as she raised her index finger cutely. I looked at her completely speechless and she suddenly threw a fit.
"How about you? Do you have hot friends? You can introduce it to Phoenix." I said it and she glared at me.
"Can you turn on the AC? I'm so hot." She said as she tried to look for the aircon remote.
"Do you know who I am?" I asked curiously because since she's drunk, she doesn't see me as Phoenix. She might be remembering someone from the past.
"You are.. hmmm.. Adrian's butler." I looked at her disbelief. I sat beside her and she raised her eyebrows.
"You kinda look like.. Phoenix." She said as she narrowed her eyes at me. She chuckled all of the sudden.
"I'm tired.. I'll go to bed." She said as she got up from the sofa. She walked weirdly to the stairs. I saw her holding on to the railing as she goes up. She walked into her room and I sighed.
I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed Adrian's number. And guess what? He rejected my call again and again. I guess I will have to kill and beat him in person. I walked upstairs to my room and laid on my bed.
"Phoenix!" Lana bursted the door open and she jumped like a kid towards me. She laid on the spot beside me and she still has the alcohol scent on her.
"Go wash up and sleep." I said as I looked up to the ceiling. She got up from my bed and walked out from my room. I decided to wash up because it's been a long day for me. Been working non-stop today and I had a lot of meetings too. I need some rest.
After I finished washing up, I put on my PJs and laid on my bed. I turned off all the lights and closed my eyes to sleep but I heard a loud thump coming from Lana's bedroom. I got up and ran to her room to see if she's okay or not.
I opened the door in panic and I saw her on the floor rubbing her legs. She fell down from the bed to the floor. She tried to get up but she's so drunk that she couldn't even hang on to the bed. I helped her and sat her on the bed.
"You okay?" I asked and she nodded.
"Can you stay with me tonight?" She asked as she looked at me with her puppy eyes. I sighed and nodded my head. She squealed as she gestured me to get on the bed. She turned off the lights and she snuggled to me.
"I told Adrian a secret earlier." She whispered.
"What secret?" I asked curiously.
"It's a secret between us and you can't know about it." She said as she wrapped her arm around my body.
"Why not? What is it?"
"Secret."
"Tell me or I'll go back to my room!" I said and she stopped me.
"It's a secret, it won't be a secret if I tell you."
"Why bother to tell Adrian then? Why didn't you tell me?" I hissed annoyed.
"Goodnight Phoenix."
