"Kai, can I come in?" Dara asked as she knocked at the door.
"Yes Noona," he responded.
When she entered the room Kai is at the balcony. The room reeks with the smell of brandy.
"Hey, why are you drinking?" Dara asked.
"Would you like some? Oh, I have ale like the ones you and Kris hyung drink." Kai motioned to the refrigerator in his room.
Once he handed the opened bottle to Dara he sat again at the balcony and swigged a mouthful of brandy.
Dara winced but drank the ale. Everybody thought it was Kris and her's staple drink so that is what they offer to them.
"Tell me your problem maybe I can help," Dara said.
Kai just looked at her with his almost to tears eyes.
"If you won't I'll guess, Company? Cousin? Employee? Love?" Dara asked.
"Love," Kai mumbled.
"Hmmm, round white rich eyes, pale white skin like flour, heart shaped lips, average height about a head shorter than you, smells like fresh bread everyday?" Dara smiled.
Kai looked at her with wide eyes. She hit the jackpot description of his angel.
"He is my half brother," Dara smiled finishing the bottle of ale.
"H-, ho-, How did you know?" Kai asked.
"He told me about this certain wealthy tanned skin man who follows him around and asks him for dates," Dara smiled.
" I," Kai started to talk.
"Fix yourself, dinner time is almost here and Xiu Min Hyung is mad so we need to be good," Dara said helping Kai up.
"Can you help me with Chef?" Kai asked walking to the bathroom.
"I can but I won't fix you on a date," Dara said walking out of the room.
"Noona!!!" Kai shouted and Dara just laughed at him.
During dinner Xiu Min was more relaxed.
"GD called me and apologized about the accusiation of kidnapping Sandara," he said.
"And is he still asking for Dara to be returned?" Kris asked.
"No, he just wants the debt of Dara's father be paid off," Xiu Min said.
"25,000,000 won will be transferred to his account, " Kris said.
"50,000,000 won," Xiu Min said.
"Huh? Why?" Dara asked.
"As he said for his inconvenience and for the shame he has to suffer," Xiu Min said.
"Ya! that's flat out extortion!" Se Hun said.
"He doesn't have the rights to demand money, in the first place he cheated," Kris said.
"Cheated? How?" Xiu Min asked.
Dara told her them about her story. Xiu Min just nodded and Se Hun looked at her wide eyed.
"Taking your life? That mutt doesn't even deserve one of your finger tips Noona," Se Hun siad.
Lu Han came running at the hall.
"What's with this house? I was just away for 24 hours and its full of media?" Lu Han said.
"Uncle Lu Lu!!!!" Baekhyun shouted.
"Oh our tiny prince is here!!!" Lu Han picked Baekhyun up and hugged him. "Missed me?"
"Yes!! I love your hair!!!" Baekhyun pulled Lu han's blonde hair.
"GD accused us specifically Kris of kidnapping Dara," Se Hun said to Lu Han giving him a kiss on his cheeks.
"GD, the sleak weasel? the thinker that he is a blessing to every woman in this world? the father of the first born curse?" Lu Han asked.
" Huh? What do you mean?" Se Hun asked turning his whole body to him.
"Oh he is a womanizer, a good boy outside but a devil inside, why who was his victim?" he asked.
"Almost victim, its Dara," Kris said.
Dara was just silent. Kris was right there is something hidden in GD's personality.
"Oh, hmmm, thank goodness you were never touched by that weasel," Lu Han said.
Dinner continued silently after that. Dara, lost in her thoughts went out to the garden. Is she really blessed right now that she escaped a misfortune or this is just the calm spot at the eye of the storm?
"Noona," Kai came out of nowhere.
"Hmmm?" Dara turned to him.
"I won't ask for his number, can you call him, I just want to apologize," Kai said.
"What for?" She asked putting out her phone.
"Last time I saw Chef I actually kissed him infront of his staff," Kai blushed. "I was not able to control myself because I missed seeing him."
"Before I do the call, why aren't you using your power to look for him?" Dara asked.
"Because I know that will piss him off, and as much as we both know he is not a sight when he is pissed off," Kai said smiling.
Dara already suffered D.O.'s anger. having her eating the cookies he baked for someone. D.O. threw flour and every baking pan to Dara that his hands can reach.
"Yes, you're right," she giggled and dialed his brother's number.
"Noona," D.O. answered.
"Hi dongsaeng, how are you?" she asked casually.
"Er, I'm good, I'm on my way to your house right now but I can't go through, the press is around your house," D.O. said.
"Oh, I will be sending someone to fetch you, don't throw a fit, okay?" Dara warned.
"Hmmmm let me guess it will be him?" D.O. said.
Dara can imagine D.O. rolling his eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at Noona," Dara said hanging up.
Kai smiled at Dara, "He is at the gates, fetch him," Dara said. Kai kissed Dara on her forehead and ran to his motorcycle.
"I Love you Noona!!!" he shouted.
After a few minutes Kai with D.O. seating behind him parked his motorcycle. Kai is flashing the biggest smile at Dara.
"Noona, He drives like a maniac!!!" D.O. shouted.
"Kai, I told you to behave," Dara swatted Kai's arms.
"I did but the press is hovering over him," Kai puoted.
"Here, I baked some Pistachio Sansrival, I hope kris hyung will like it," D.O. handing a cake bos to her sister.
"Thank you, "Dara said hugging D.O.
Kai is just looking at Dara as if waiting for something.
"What?" Dara asked Kai.
"Er?" D.O. blurted.
"Noona," Kai whined as a kid.
"I told you I will help you right? And I did," Dara said smiling walking towards the house.
"Noona," D.O. started to follow him but Kai caught his wrist.
"C-can I t- talk to you?" Kai asked.
"Let go of me and we will talk," D.O. said.
"BE GENTLE WITH HIM!!!" Dara shouted.
Kai breathed deep, "I'm sorry for that afternoon when I kissed you infront of your staff, I know my apology is not enough but please do accept it," he bowed.
D.O. just looked at him, he can't believe how the Prince of the top Fashion line of South Korea just bows just like that to him.
"I- ah, apology accepted," D.O. said.
Kai flashed his irresistable smile again that D.O. skipped a heartbeat offering his hands, "Friends?"
"Don't assume to much Mr. Kim," D.O. said staring at Kai's hand.
"Noona said we can be friends," Kai said using Dara to get his way.
D.O. cringed his nose, "I'm sorry but did you drink?"
"Er, no," Kai lied.
"I don't make friends with drunkards," D.O. said.
"Sorry, It's just, I drunk a bottle because I'm sad," kai said.
"Liquor can't solve your sadness, It will just give you a headache," D.O. said.
"Sorry," Kai mumbled looking at D.O.'s hands.
Silence came between them. Kai is fighting his hands to touch D.O., on the other hand D.O. is fighting the urge to tilt Kai's head up so he can see his brown eyes.
"Talk to me of you have a problem, "D.O. finally said before turning around to look for Dara.
"Oh, What?' Kai snapped his head.
"I don't repeat myself, now let me be, I need to talk to my sister," D.O. said.
Kai smiled and jumped as high as he could. "Noona is the best!!!" He shouted. D.O. smiled, "Noona really is best."
