Will you hear me if i cry?
above the thunder of anger,
over the blasts of fear and hate
when help comes not at all,
or when it comes too late?
when the streets explode with fire, and when hearts grow dead with greif,
when all the sounds are sad, and there's no more relief?
will you hear me if i cry?
will you come before i die?
