"Shutcho BITCH ASS UP NIGGA!" I heard one of the boys yell once me and Aaliyah walked in Phat's apartment.
"Maybe we should come back anotha time." Aaliyah said turning around reaching for the nob.
"Fuck is y'all doing?" Sway walked up front mugging us. "Come the fuck on." We followed behind him towards the living room where the boys were playing spades.
"All that yelling ova a card game... really?" Aaliyah scrunched up her face, plopping down on the couch.
"Why you still standing goofy ass luh girl?" Sway mugged me.
"Don't start wit me today. I'm not ina mood." I sat down on the second couch.
"Who pissed in yo oatmeal this morning?" Phat walked in from the kitchen drinking a BodyArmor.
"I'm so sicka y'all walking around like you dont own shirts." Aaliyah said ta Phat since all he had on was sum gym shorts.
"This my damn house, you could get da fuck out honestly."
"I'm finna go." I started to get up but Jakari yanked on my shirt making me sit in is lap.
"What's wrong wit you?" He asked me dealing the cards in his hands.
"Luh baby mad cause she aint get no food." Aaliyah said looking up from her phone rolling her eyes.
"Fuck you bitch, you knew damn well you coulda stopped at Wendy's."
"Mufucker you decided to ask me once we were already in the neighborhood." She sat up getting aluh loud. "Wha the fuck you wanted me ta do? Turn around and go back just so you could eat?"
"FUCKING YES!"
She scoffed. "Dumb bitch." She said under her breath.

"Y'all is so damn childish i- actually just go." Sway said.
"Boy shut up witcho strong neck ass." I said making everyone laugh.
"What's funny luh stupid face ass girl." He said to Aaliyah making her gasp.
"All these otha people laughing and you say sum ta me." She rolled her eyes. "Ole giraffe neck ass." I bused out laughing.
"It really ain't dat funny." Jakari said mugging me.
"IT WAS VERY FUNNY TOO ME." Phat yelled out impersonating dat one video.

"You and Tank sum boo-hoo ass niggas too be real." Aaliyah said laughing.
"Girl shutcho pinto bean head ass up." Jakari said laughing his ass off making me shift in his lap.
"See now that wasn't een funny."
"Like hell it was." Phat chimed in laughing making me laugh cause he sounded like ah nigga was losing oxygen.
"Gimme kiss." Jakari said grabbing my face and pecked my lips.
"Awwww." Phat laughed. "Look at the newlyweds."
"I really dislike you." I waved him off. Me and Jakari neva came out and made it 'official' to them. They slowly picked up on it and didn't question a thing. I already know it's cause they suspected we would get together eventually but still, i respect the way everyone minded their own and went with the flow.
"Where Pooh? She always wit y'all."
"She went ona trip wit her Aunt." Aaliyah told them.
"I miss my bae." I pouted unlocking my phone ta text ha. "She finna be gone all week."
"Pooh like girls?" Phat asked.
I looked up and grinned. "Yea, why?"
"Ain't een like that i was just wondering." He waved me off.
"Phat wus yo real name?" Aaliyah asked.
"Dontavious."
"Y'all really just be doing anything with these nicknames." I said shaking my head. "Fuck you get Phat from Dontavious?"
"Right and Sway from Elijah." Aaliyah mushed his head.
"Oh and don't forget damn Tank from Jakari." I laughed looking at him.
"Fuck Pooh get dat from Krislyn?" Sway said.
"Don't talk shi when she not here."
"But y'all can talk shi bout us."
"Exactly." Me and Aaliyah said simultaneously.

"Aye, bruh." I felt someone roughly shaking me awake. I made a face turning over on my side ta see it was Jakari.
"How you-
"Yo mom let me in."
I nodded sitting up and rubbing my eyes. "This for me?" I ask pointing ta the Sonic bag in his hand. He nodded setting it in my lap.
"Kiss." I puckered my lips and he pecked them. "Whatchu did today?" I asked taking out my food.
"Business, worked at my uncles, and spent time with my mom." He said taking his shoes and hoodie off before laying at the top of my bed. "You?"
"Hair and shipped sum orders." I took a bite outta my burger. "You ain't neva told me about the otha day." I said after i swallowed my food. I'd been meaning ta bring it back up fa awhile now.
"What day?"
"I came ova on my birthday and you was upset." I explained. "You neva told me why you was upset but i get if you don't wanna talk bout it still."
He just kept his eyes glued ta the tv. I left it alone and ate the rest of my food.
"My mom got breast cancer." He said after a few minutes of silence.
"I'm sorr-"
"Youn got nun ta apologize fa." He waved me off. "Really not much ta it. That day i went to the doctor wit ha, said it's starting ta spread." He sighed rubbing his hand down his face. "She doing Chemo right now."
I put the rest of my food up and straddled his lap. "Can i meet ha?"
"You want too?" He raised a brow.
"Mhm." I nodded reaching under his shirt ta rub his chest. "You dun met mine, i wanna meet yours."
He nodded. "We can do dat." He grabbed my neck and kissed my lips. Pulling away i bit down on his bottom lip.
"Strip." He started ta take my shirt off.
"Nope." I laughed getting up. "My mom still here."
"Mane gahdamn." He sucked his teeth turning on his stomach. "Turn that light off."
"You finna go ta sleep?" I pouted.
"Ain't shit else ta do." He grabbed my blanket. "Come lay down."
"Hol up." I ran out the room to see what my mom was up too.
"You finna go ta work?" I asked waking in ha bathroom.
"Yep, and i'm working over time so i won't be back till 9am." She sat down on the toilet ta grease ha legs.
"Jakari staying ova?"
"Mhm, if that's fine with you."
"He seem like a nice young man. What he do for a living driving dat nice ass car?"
"Works at his uncles mechanic shop." I told the half truth. What the fuck i look like saying 'oh he'a drug dealer.'
She'd beat both our asses.
After she finished getting ready i walked her out and locked the door.
I went back in my room and tapped on Jakari's face ta wake him up. He opened his arms for me ta lay down and i did. I watched sum Barbie movies until i fell asleep.
