Bakugou sprints to school like he always does. He gets there early and, like the day before, sits at his desk and turns up his music. He hums along to the music and, after a quick scan around the classroom to make sure nobody else was there, starts singing along (you can choose any song but I was thinking of "broken" by Anson Seabra -that's a lie, I've been thinking of the Folgers jingle all week-
But what he doesn't realise is that some other students hear his singing and, wanting to know who was producing the music, peek their heads into the classroom. It is Kirishima, Uraraka, and Todoroki. Uraraka is surprised to hear that their resident blond menace could sing so well and make such a calm face.
Tears brew (like Folgers coffee ಠ◡ಠ) in the corners of Bakugou's eyes, pouring down his cheeks against his will. He angrily wipes them away and continues singing. He finishes the song and opens his previously closed eyes to see Uraraka, Todoroki, and Kirishima watching him from the doorway.
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" he screeches when he sees them.
Kirishima laughs nervously, "hey, bro!"
Bakugou growls menacingly before chopping the red haired boy over the head, "you idiots stalking me or something?"
"Ow! That hurt, Bukubro! So not manly of you!" Kirishima complains.
Bakugou ignores the twang of sadness that resonates in his chest and yells at Kirishima, "shut up, dumb hair!"
"To answer your earlier question, we were just walking into the school when we heard you singing, so we decided to check it out," Todoroki explains.
"THEN WHY THE FUCK WERE YOU EXTRAS JUST WATCHING ME FROM THE DOOR?!" Bakugou screeches.
"We-well..." Uraraka stutters.
"SPIT IT OUT, ROUND FACE!" Bakugou demands.
"Y-your singing is so good, we didn't want to interrupt you!" she manages to stutter out.
"Tch," Bakugou mutters, ignoring the strange overwhelming happiness that comment brews (you know what I'm thinking) inside him. "Fuck off..." he turns away and walks towards his desk, hiding the small smile on his face.
"Can you sing us another?" Kirishima asks with a smile brighter than the sun.
Bakugou sighs and tries to stop himself from saying yes, but ultimately fails when he sees the sunshine boy that reminds him of his childhood friend. He sighs, "fucking fine..."
"Woah! You have the magic touch, Kirishima!" Ochako cheers.
"Shut up, round face," Bakugou says.
"Round face?"
"Choose a song, shitty hair," Bakugou says, handing Kirishma his phone, spotify playlist open.
"Hmmmmm," Kirishima pretends to be in deep thought as he scrolls through Bakugou's playlist. "Woah, dude! There are some questionable songs on here!" Kirishima squeaks.
"Let me see!" Ochako insists.
"Wait what? Fucking shit!" Bakugou lunges for his phone, but Uraraka takes it from Kirishima's hands and starts scrolling through.
"Woah! You listen to some inappropriate songs!" Uraraka says, slightly embarrassed, before stopping at a certain song. "Why do you have so many songs about suicide?" she questions.
"Tch," bakugou mumbles as he takes his phone back and hands it to Kirishima, "none of your fucking business, round face. Pick a fucking song, shitty fair."
"Okay..." Kirishima mumbles, tucking away the little piece of information for later. "Oh, hey! I like this song!" kirishima holds up the phone to show the song he chose (you know the drill, choose a song. Just so you know, I chose "monster" by "skillet")
Bakugou closes his eyes and pretends the other students in the class don't exist before starting to sing. The other students listen attentively until the end of the song before bursting out into applause. Bakugou jumps from his chair, thoroughly startled, before screeching at the others for startling him like that.
Once everyone calms down, and the rest of bakusquad have entered the classroom, Ochako proposes an idea, "hey, guys! Let's play a game!"
"That sounds fun! What do you suggest we play?" Mina asks.
"Truth or dare!" Ochako says happily.
"Oh yeah, Imma so win this!" Kaminari shouts.
"YOU CAN'T WIN AT TRUTH OR DARE, DUNCE FACE!" Bakugou yells.
"Okay, so everyone wants to play?" Ochako asks.
"Yeah, dude!" Sero shouts.
"Sure," Todoroki agrees.
"Yeah, I'm down!" Kirishima says.
"Sweet!" Mina cheers.
"I'll go first!" Ochako offers.
"Alright! Ask away!" Mina says happily.
"Todoroki, truth or dare?" Ochako asks.
"Truth," Todoroki responds.
"Okay! How did you get that scar?" Ochako asks happily.
Todoroki pauses for a moment, slightly shy, before finally saying, "my mom burned me with a kettle when I was seven because my left side looked too much like my father... it's because of that incident that I will never use my left side," Todoroki explains.
The gathered students look at him with disdain. (future author here: that's not the right word past me you need to look up definitions more often istg)
"What the fuck?" Bakugou says, "that's fucked up..."
"I guess," Todoroki shrugs.
"We-well! It's your turn, Todoroki!" Mina says as she claps her hands together.
"Okay..." Todoroki says, "Bakugou."
"Hah?!"
"Truth or dare?" Todoroki asks.
"Dare! I'm no pussy!" Bakugou shouts.
"Lift your shirt," Todoroki says.
Bakugou's face reddens, (Ha. Gay!) "WHAT THE FUCK, HALF AND HALF?!"
"When I looked at you in the change room yesterday, you had scars all over your body. I want to know where you got them," Todoroki explains.
"Oh..." bakugou mumbles. He slowly unbuttons his shirt, trying to avoid the inevitable but only succeeding in looking sexy. He finishes and lifts the back of his shirt so the others could look at his scars. "They're mostly from fights," he explains.
"Where'd you get that one?" Mina asks, pointing to a particularly nasty one on Bakugou's back.
Bakugou thinks for a bit before responding with, "first fight. Fucking lost to that shitty extra."
"This one?" Kaminari points to a significantly smaller one.
"Second fight. Won against the same extra that beat me the first time," bakugou brags.
They, then, continue the game. The game ends when the rest of the class enters to see Kaminari attached to the ceiling with Sero's tape, Ochako floating, semi shirtless Bakugou standing on Kirishima like a surfboard, who is laying on the floor shirtless, Sero swinging around like spiderman, and Mina, Todoroki, and Jirou working on an ice sculpture of Eraserhead in his sleeping bag with their quirks.
"What's going on?" Eraserhead questions.
"We were playing truth or dare," Jirou informs before continuing the wack the ice sculpture with her earphone jacks.
"Everyone stop," Eraserhead commands, "except for Mina, Jirou, and Todoroki, you can continue. That statue is looking good."
"Fucking finally," Bakugou says, stepping off of Kirishima and buttoning up his shirt.
Kirishima laughs at him and puts his own shirt back on, "that was fun!"
Sero struggles to untie Kaminari, who's just vibing on the ceiling.
"How did you even get him up there?" Tokoyami questions.
"I helped," Uraraka says, looking like she's ready to be sick.
"You don't look too good!" Hagakure exclaims.
"It's my quirk drawback," she says before covering her mouth to avoid being sick on the floor, "carrying myself and multiple other people throughout the game wasn't a good idea..."
Momo comes over and pats Uraraka on the back soothingly, "hey, it'll be okay."
"Thanks," Uraraka responds before covering her mouth again as another wave of nausea overcomes her.
"Oof," Kaminari says with a large grin, now down from the ceiling.

"I am here, coming through the door like a normal person!" All might announces as he tears into the classroom like someone who isn't normal. "Today, we will be doing battle training!" All might announces, "everyone Change into your hero costumes and meet at ground beta!"
Bakugou snatches his case and speeds off to the changing rooms, not wanting to reveal his scars and his arms to the other classmates. He gets to the changing rooms and quickly strips off his shirt, replacing it with his hero costume shirt and glove things. (you know the things that are under his grenades?) He removes his pants and replaces them with the baggy hero costume pants before slipping his mask onto his face and attaching his grenade gauntlets onto his arms.
How have I changed so much from when I was younger? He wonders sadly as he looks down at the custom made costume. Oh yeah, that person died when his best friend left, he realises as he puts his boots on. He leaves the changing room and heads to ground beta, no longer wanting to dwell on his past self. The rest of the students soon arrive as well, talking animatedly between each other.
Bakugou just groans and waits for all might to announce who he'll be partnered up with.
All might begins with the team assignments, "Bakugou and Iida," he eventually announces.
Bakugou reluctantly trudges over to the blue haired male, glaring, "just don't get in my way, fucking four eyes!"
"That's not very hero-like," Iida mutters.
"YOU WANNA SAY THAT AGAIN, FOUR EYES?" Bakugou growls, trying to keep the tears at bay.
"S-sorry," Iida stutters, trying to defend his face with his hands.
Bakugou glares at the wall as he waits for his turn to fight. All he wants, right now, is to just forget about everything for at least a short while.
"Katsuki Bakugou and Tenya Iida will be going up against Ochako Uraraka and Momo Yaorozu!" All Might announces
