3 weeks later :
A few weeks after the Oscar's COVID-19 has now led to workplaces and several countries shutting down.
Brad and Jen are now quarantined together at her house and living on top of each other 24/7 has been a big change for them both.
Jen : I understand that you're living here now and I want you to feel comfortable but can you please go down with all the cups and bowls after you're done using them?
Brad : Sorry, I forgot.
Jen : It's fine, just try to remember it.
Throwing herself down on the bed next to him, she gets a message from Court updating her on Kevin's situation.
Jen : Kevin is awake now.
Brad : Really?
Jen : Yeah, Court called his nurse this morning.
Brad : That's a huge relief.
She lays her head on Brad's chest, glad that Kevin is finally doing alright.
Jen : I've got that zoom call later. That Apple thing.
Brad : Is that today?
Jen : Yeah. So keep away from my office.
Brad : Will do.
Grabbing her phone, she opens Instagram scrolling through her feed.
Brad : But Jen?
Jen : Yeah?
Brad : We should do it soon.
Jen : I know.
Brad : Because the longer we wait the more...
Nodding, she sighs realizing procrastinating it won't help in the long run.
Jen : I know, I know.
Brad : I don't wanna push you Jen, I just think everything would be easier if we didn't have to hide and sneak around all the time.
Jen : Do you not like things as they are right now?
Brad : Sure, not having our whole world involved in our relationship is nice... but at the same time I wanna be able to show you off.
Jen : Show me off?
Brad : Not like that, I mean... like the Oscars for example... I hated showing up there alone. I wanted you to be there with me.
Jen : I know honey. I want that too.
2 hours later :
Brushing through her hair in a hurry, she peaks her head through the bathroom door talking to Brad who's still in bed.
Jen : You should get up and do something. Get something out of your day.
Brad : I thought I wasn't allowed downstairs.
Jen : You're not allowed in my office Brad, not the whole fucking floor.
Checking herself in the mirror, making sure her makeup is alright, she walks out of the bathroom grabbing her phone from the nightstand.
Jen : You could look for some pictures of us to post on Instagram.
Brad : Really?
Jen : Yeah, at least then you'd be a little productive.
She rushes down the stairs as the call starts in a few minutes.
Brad : You look nice!
Jen : Thank you!
Leaving Brad to look through his camera roll for a picture of the two of them.
Brad : Is it supposed to be new?
Talking to himself as he's struggling to find a recent, serious picture, he remembers Courteney taking a picture of them a little while back when they were having dinner at her house.
Finding her number in his contacts, he calls her straight away.
Courteney : Hey, what's up?
Brad : Hey, it's Brad.
Courteney : I know Brad.
As Court laughs, he goes on to tell her about their idea of going public and how they're going to do it on Instagram.
Brad : So Jen put me on the case to find a picture of us we could post, and I'm guessing she'd want a recent one.
Courteney : Yeah.
Brad : Which got me thinking of the photo you took of us the other week.
Courteney : The one in front of the sunset, where you're kissing? Or?
Brad : Yeah, could you just send me all of them?
A few minutes later :
With the pictures Courteney sent him on his phone, Brad walks downstairs wanting to show them to Jen.
Despite her being in the midst of a zoom call with the cast of The Morning Show.
Jess : I think he's a good guy, for the most part.
Hearing mumbling and laughter coming from her office he walks silently towards it, catching eye contact with Jen straight away.
Brad stands leaned against the doorway holding up the picture of the two of them kissing on Courteney's patio, before mouthing a few words to her.
Brad : This is it.
As he knows Jen would never share a picture where they're kissing on social media, he laughs.
Jen gives him a half smile, not really able to react in any other way as she's being filmed.
Brad : What time are you done?
Despite her rant about how he wasn't supposed to interrupt her call with the cast, he can't help it.
Obviously not able to answer him, she shrugs her shoulders.
Later in the evening :
Walking into the living room, she finds Brad watching Storage Wars on the tv.
Rolling her eyes by his taste in tv shows, she sits down next to him.
Brad : I'm sorry for interrupting you.
Jen : It's fine, they'll all know who it is I was talking to now anyways.
Brad : I know people will probably speculate and I know you hate...
Jen : So let's be one step ahead of them.
Brad : What?
Jen : Let me see the pictures, I couldn't get a proper look at them before.
He grabs his phone, finding them.
Jen : Courteney's really good at taking pictures, mine always turn out blurry.
Brad watches her as she goes through them all.
It reminds him of the 00s and how after every vacation the first thing they would do when they got home was organizing all the photos they'd taken.
Jen : I like this one.
She zooms in on the picture where Brad's arms are wrapped around her waist and they're both laughing at something funny one of the girls had said.
Brad : I like that one too.
Jen : We could post that one and... that one.
Pointing to the one where they're locking lips, she logs into Instagram on his phone.
Brad : Really?
Jen : If we're really doing this, a picture of us laughing isn't enough. We're trying to let them know we're a couple and not... you know just friends.
He smiles before leaning in giving her a kiss on the forehead.
Jen : Are you ready?
Brad : We're doing it right now?
Jen : Yes.
He nods, feeling excited.
Jen : What are we gonna write for the caption?
Brad : Caption?
Already typing something, she doesn't answer Brad's question.
Brad : Quarantine... is a lot better with him... that sounds good.
Taking a second to look at it, Jen suddenly changes her mind and starts over.
Jen : No that's not right.
Finding a link she's saved in her notes, she copies it into the caption, continuing to write.
Brad : However, not everyone is fortunate enough to have their loved ones by their side in these trying times...
Jen : So please support and donate if you can to UNICEF's crisis appeal.
He looks up from the phone staring at her, yet again mesmerized by how big her heart is.
Brad : Jen... that's so great of you.
Jen : Of us. You're also donating Brad.
He gives her a half smile, knowing he should have seen this coming.
Jen : Press share.
Brad : Me?
Jen : I can't do it.
Jen grabs his hand and closes her eyes, before he presses share.
And just like that it's out in the open... for everyone to see.
Jen : Okay.
Throwing her phone away, she turns to look at him with a frightened look on her face.
Jen : Brad?
Brad : What?
Jen : Press! We totally didn't think this through, they'll be calling us non stop.
Brad : Don't you have people for that?
Jen : Yes, but then they'll come running to me again.
He stands up, grabbing her arm.
Brad : Then let's leave our phones here for the night and let it be tomorrow's problem.
A smile appears on her face as she follows him to the patio outside.
He sits down on the sofa, while she's just standing leaned against the wall looking at him.
Jen : What are we doing here?
Brad : Come here.
She walks over to him, before sitting on top of him with her legs spread, facing him.
He gives her that look, she's never quite understood what means.
Jen : What?
Brad : I love you.
Laying her hands on his chest, she leans forward pressing her lips against his.
Jen : I love you too Brad.
Wrapping his arms around her waist, he pulls her in closer letting them both know what comes next.
The next day :

Reading all the headlines that pop up on her phone, Jen surprisingly doesn't freak out, she rather finds it funny how big of a deal it seems to be to everyone.
Jen : Are you seeing this?
Brad : Yeah, it's crazy.
Jen : Even some of our friends are freaking...
Brad : You broke the record of having the most liked post on Instagram.
Jen : What? Let me see that.
She grabs his phone, seeing that it is in fact true.
Jen : Wow.
Hearing her phone starting to ring, she hopes it's not Stephen calling as she's not ready to do any interviews about this yet.
Thankfully it's just Andrea.
Andrea : Jen!
Jen : Yes.
Andrea : You're totally crazy.
Jen : You've seen it?
Andrea : Hasn't everybody?
Jen : There's no going back now huh.
Andrea : You don't regret it do you?
She looks over at Brad, who's got his nose in his phone reading everything she's shown him on Instagram.
Looking up from all the hysteria, he smiles at her making her answer to Andrea's question pretty simple.
Jen : Not one bit.
