You, Dong-Gyun, and Chanwoo was working at the cafe. You three were quite close friends, but you had the FATTEST crush on Dong-Gyun, and Chanwoo knows it.
While Dong-Gyun went to the back to grab more supplies, Chanwoo slid over to you and nudged your arm.
"soo~ when are you gonna tell him?" Chanwoo whispered, raising his eyebrows. You sighed, taking the order of a customer.
"I don't know, Chan.. what if he rejects me and I ruin our friendship..?" You whisper, going to the coffee machine thing and making the order.
[ a/n : you call Chanwoo "Chan" for short and call Dong-gyun "Gyuni" since you found it cute. ]
Chanwoo followed, leaning his arm on your shoulder. You were about his height.
"Come on, y/n! I doubt he'll reject you, you've been with him through almost everything! He has to love you." Chanwoo said, trying to get in your view.
You lean away and finish making the customer's order. As you turn around and bump into Dong-gyun, but luckily kept the coffee safe.
You squeak and stumble back a little, blushing a bit too much. "f-fuck I'm sorry!-"
Dong-gyun flinched and laughed a bit, stepping to the side. "It's fine y/n, I was standing too close."
You slowly nodded and gave the customer their order.
3rd person
Chanwoo looked at Dong-gyun while y/n went to the customer's table.
"What were you guys talking about? Does y/n have a crush on someone?" Dong-gyun asked, looking at Chanwoo.
Chanwoo hummed a bit. "I guess you can say that. He wants to confess, but the built a good friendship with his crush, so he doesn't want to risk losing them." He explained, shrugging a bit.
Dong-gyun frowned a little and was about to say something, until someone entered the cafe.
The 3 workers looked at who walked in, and it was Jiwon, the boy who used to do nsfw live shows and such. Dong-gyun smiled and walked to Jiwon, hugging him.
Jiwon smiled back and kissed Dong-gyun. Chanwoo flinched a bit and looked at y/n, who was watching in shock.
Y/n didn't know dong-gyun was dating someone. He clenched the apron he wore and tore his eyes away from the couple, making his way behind the counter.
After Jiwon came to visit and chatted for a bit, he left. Chanwoo and Dong-gyun noticed that y/n's mood sort of.. dropped.
Y/n didn't sound as enthusiastic and happy. He looked so sad and Chanwoo knew why, but dong-gyun didn't.
After their shifts ended, y/n quickly changed and left, wanting to just go home.
"Chanwoo.. what's wrong with y/n?" Dong-gyun asked as they both walked out the cafe, locking the door.
Chanwoo sighed and shook his head a little. "I know, but y/n has to tell you himself." He said.
Dong-gyun frowned a bit but nodded and they both started walking to wherever they need to be; Chanwoo going to MD's place and Dong-gyun going to y/n's place.
2nd person
You ran to your house with tears running down your cheeks. You felt heartbroken before, but it was never this bad.
You arrived at your front door and quickly opened the door, entering your house and slamming it shut.
You lock it and lean back against the door.
You dropped your keys besides you and began sobbing your heart out, sliding down the door.
You grip onto your shirt where your heart was, slowly bringing your legs to your chest.
You cried so much that you started to cough a little.
You gripped so tightly on your shirt and hung your head down low, your sobs slowly dying down.
"...i-it hurts.. so.. so.. so... fucking m-much.." You mumble, your body shaking.
You suddenly hear banging on your door.
"Y/n?! Y/n! What's wrong?! Are you hurt!?"
It was dong-gyun.
You didn't want to tell him it was his fault for shattering your heart. You didn't want to make him feel guilty or upset.
You sniff and slowly stand up, grabbing some nearby tissues and blowing your nose out.
Once you decided you made yourself look better, even though your hair was messy and stuck to your face a little, eyes were red and puffy, your cheeks red, and your shirt somewhat loose, you opened the door.
Dong-gyun was there and looked at you. He looked concerned, worried, tired, and surprised.
"Ye-"
He pulled you into a hug so fast, it kind of surprised you on how fast he moved.
"Y/n! Oh my god I was so worried- I thought you got hurt!"
You just let him hug you, not even having enough energy or motivation to hug him back.
He lets go of you and steps back a little. "what happened?"
You frowned a little. "..i guess... h-heartbreak.." You mumble, your voice sounding dry and raspy.
Dong-gyun flinched and frowned. "who rejected you?"
You shook your head. "you and.. your boyfriend."
It took a moment for Dong-Gyun to get it, but once he did, he felt like a wrecking ball full of guilt hit him.
"I-I'm-" You shook your head again, making him stop talking.
"Don't apologize.." You sighed. "..I'll move on.."
"just please.. leave me alone for now.. Dong-gyun."
Dong-gyun flinched, knowing if you said his name, it means you're serious.
He lets go of you and nods. "..I'm sorry, y/n... I really am..-"
You bit your bottom lip, trying to contain the tears.
It hurt Dong-Gyun to see you so sad and heartbroken.
"i'll.. see you later then." He hesitantly walked out the house and closed the door.
After hearing his footsteps fade away, you broke down into tears again, falling onto your knees.
damn.

3rd person
After that day, y/n didn't show up to work or to school.
When dong-gyun and chanwoo asked, they were informed y/n had moved away.
They were both upset and Dong-Gyun felt guilty.
The one time they saw y/n was on social media.
It was like, a year later when they saw him.
It seemed like he became a famous model and most of his concept was more on the sad/edgy side.
They were relieved to see that y/n was still fine, but finished they can all meet up again and become close, just like last time but maybe even closer.
sadly though,
sometimes we don't get what we want.
