"Tariff, we have been roaming around for the past half an hour and we still didn't pick any apple"
" Angel i...i saw the tree here i don't know where it disappeared" he cried out.
I chuckled at his childish gesture, i swear kids are such a blessing. He was so happy when i said yes to apple picking, my aunt had some guests coming over and it was a good chance for a get away so off we came to this garden that wasn't very far from home, we have been searching for Tariff's "special tree" all along and my aunt's hardwork was visible through every seed i watched in admiration as the path of trees prolongled it was a never ending sight and my heart swelled with the love that i had for this woman.
"There it is! Angel my favorite tree, there"
And it was the biggest tree with the most fruits on this garden.
" Now i know why it's your favorite tree" i smiled.
"Let's pick up the apples now, you want to eat apple pie in the evening don't you"
" Yesssss angel " he shouted in excitement.

JAY
"Sir, Ms.Zuhuur has agreed to hold the meeting at her house" my Secretary informed me and it was one of the most satisfying thing i have heard all day, i decided to blackmail my investors into holding meeting at a "suitable" environment and ms.Zuhuur's house was one of the most accommodating so i grabbed my chance to see her again, if she will be there. Hopefully
I immediately got ready and called my driver I told him the address and we were on our way, my heart started beating fast with every minute as we neared our destination and her face couldn't stop coming in front of me.
'Who are you and what are you doing to me?'
"Sir, we are here" my driver's voice took me out of my thoughts, just a few more steps and i will know who you are, fixing my posture i went inside i was welcomed by a rather annoyed Zuhuur and i smiled in satisfaction knowing well that she hates to discuss business at home.
"Jay, did we really have to meet here, you know i don't really like bringing business in my house"
And i knew just what to say, Zuhuur had a thing for ancient items and i had to use my sources to get the best gift to please her.
"I know i know ms.Zuhuur but i had a surprise for you so i had to make it more special and i obviously liked the atmosphere of your house the other night and so it was an excuse to see such a piece of art, i looked around smirking as i know she fell for that.
" Thank you Jay, you know Zuhuur gets the best in everything and this house is just another one, let's go inside they are waiting for us and i also can't wait for the surprise"

It seems like we came back early there are cars outside the house which means the guests are still there, "Tariff take these to your mom am gonna come back okay?"
"Okay Angel, we are still making the apple pies right?" his smile always makes me melt.
"Yes we are my dear now go we don't want the apples to go bad right, go go "
I somehow have to get to my room but how, i had to think about a plan when i saw the gardener coming out of a side door that i didn't know existed until now, i rush over to ask him if it by any means leads to the stairs and to my surprise it did i have never been so relieved, i take the route and as he said it led me to the stairs i sighed in relief and started walking but my happiness was short-lived when someone yanked me and i was dragged behind the stairs.

I have been sitting on this stupid meeting for long and my patience was draining away i had to see her and i also wanted to know why Zuhuur was hiding her.
My phone rang and that was the only thing i needed to excuse myself, it was from the office and once the call ended i started exploring the house in search of her i opened every door that came my way but to no avail i almost gave up when i heard heels coming my way and jackpot! it was her, i froze as i saw her beautiful silhoutte walking towards my direction that i forgot the purpose of oxygen on the human body for a while, this time she has to talk and so i did the best thing i could think of i dragged her and put my palm on her mouth to avoid her from screaming she really gets scared easily, her eyes became wide when she saw me and she started breathing hard, is she panicking? but she did something i did not expect she bit me and that's when i heard her voice.

"What the hell" my heart was beating like crazy it was him again why does he always pops out of nowhere, he is always in my bubble and he doesn't even flinch.
"Am sorry i didn't mean to scare you" i have never been this vulnerable in front of another human what is with this girl that makes you drop all your guards.
He apologised and it was rather amusing since he looked like a giant trying to apologise to a minion it's not like i am a minion but this was a funny sight he was much taller than me and i was very small in front of him
"It's okay, am fine" was all i said and i started walking when i was again yanked.
"What is wrong with you, why do you keep on walking away everytime i see you?"

"E....ex..cuse me?" Daaamn i did not mean to scare her again am a jerk but i can't see her walking away from me everytime it somehow hurts and i don't even know how to explain that feeling.
"Am sorry but i just want to know your name and you don't even give me a chance to complete whatever am saying".
I mindlessly cup her cheeks and i swear her eyes are so hypnotizing, i don't want this moment to pass we are in a trance for a while when i decide to bury my sinful thoughts and talk like a normal human being.
" My name is Jay, what about yours?" I hope to hear her name this time and to my sense of relief i do.
"Amara" she keeps on sniffing her nose and it was the most adorable thing.
"Amara" i repeat her name and it sounds more beautiful on my mouth.
"C...can i go now?" She asks and it was one of the hardest things to decide but i had to know if am gonna see her again.
"Only if you promise me that you'll see me again?"
"But i don't even know you, why will i meet you again" she said with all the strength she could muster.
"Okay let's do this then let's become friends so that we atleast have a good reason to meet" i say smiling hoping to make her comfortable.
"I..i can't promise am not allowed to step out of the house without a valid reason and i cannot lie to my aunt"
"Aunt?, who is your aunt?"
"Aunt.... Zuhuur the owner if this house"
"So you are Zuhuur's niece that's good, but atleast tell me you will try"
"I will but.... can.....i ask you something? Why will you want to meet me when we have known each other for some minutes do you have a strange habit of meeting up random people?"
That was the longest question and sentence she spoke in this ten minutes and boy am i finding hard to breath around her i softly chuckle.
"Trust me you are not any other stranger" control yourself around her Jay i mentally scold myself this is so wrong but why does it feel so right.
I touch her cheek again and i smirk when she closes her eyes knowing that my touch affects her, i swear i was about to do something that i will regret later if i didn't hear someone coming and i look back at her to see her eyes still closed as she clutched on the ends of her dress, beautiful i thought but we have to leave this here my love i take small steps back, i decide to go back leaving my new found hobby behind and pretend like nothing happened.

My eyes were closed, his touch does million unexplainable things to my heart and i have never been this close to a man but i feel weirdly comfortable around him. For a minute i don't feel his breath on my face and i open my eyes to an empty space he was gone, i feel weird wait what am i feeling? i facepalm myself and run up the stairs like a lunatic to my room to calm down my crazy heartbeats, whatever happened was very wrong yet it didn't feel so, i should stay away from him i repeated this mantra again and again but you promised to meet him shouted my mind, no i can't this was the last time i saw him i busy myself with my latest read i opened the page that i left on and i went to the world of imagination.
