The doors were supposed to close in half-an-hour, so, as usual, you waited by the door for Thomas to return. And, as usual, he did about five minutes later.
"Hey, hun," he said to you, running up to hug you.
"Hi, cutie," you replied, giggling dispite what you had just done to yourself.
"So, Y/N, what'd you do while I was out in the maze?" Thomas asked.
"Hmm," you started. "Since you were a little late, I got yelled at by Alby. Then, I went to the Med-Jack office, and Jake came in with a cut on his hand. Since he's a builder, I suggested he take the day off to prevent further damage. Alby yelled at me for that, saying I shouldn't be giving workers the day off. The usual." You answered, avoiding eye contact.
"Y/N, look at me. Please. It'll be okay. Alby just has problems because you're a girl." He said. You couldn't help it, the tears started falling down your cheeks. "Y/N, please don't cry, it'll be okay!"
"Thomas, that's not the only reason I'm crying, you said, fiddling with the sleeve that covered your cuts.
"Please tell me. I need to make sure you're okay. Don't keep me in the dark."
Then, you made a split second decision, and lifted up your sleeve for him to see. Then, to your surprise, he kissed your cuts. All of them. All your scars. All your pain. It was like medication. It was almost like he was healing open wounds every time his lips touched your skin.
"Please don't do this again Y/N." Thomas said.
"I won't."
