Ever since Elise and Ashur came to the Dragon Kingdom with few of the trustworthy and skilled servants and guards of the Von Dutch's Family, Their training immediately commenced. The Dragon King called Lionel Dragonell, He was not really interested in meddling with Humans but since The Von Dutch family adopted a lightning and dark magic user, he needs to put his finger in their business and train the two brats to avoid the large scale chaos in the future.
His trusted Royal Mage called Pearl was put to work, she has both abilities of Lightning and Water magic and she is someone who could help hone their skills enough to protect themselves and enough to reign over their magic before it gets rampant. They spent the next seven years honing and mastering their magic arts with Pearl as well as their etiquettes that will be needed for the social debut they will have for this coming winter.
In vast winter mountains on the far northeast of the Dragon Kingdom, there were two figures that was treading the top of the highest peak of the steep mountain even before the break of dawn. They were both covered in heavy fur with thick gloves and boots on their hands and feet. There has been a never-ending hail storm around this mountain and they wanted to do the extreme to prove that they have 100% control over their powers.
The female looks at her company and nodded her head, without a word, the male with him raised his hand in the air and started to use his lightning magic.
'Just like what big sister told me, feel the movement of the air going upwards and higher on the sky, carrying the snow, feel the start of the sparks and...IMMEDIATELY STRIKE!'- with a powerful thrust of his mana, his white lightning sprung out of his fingertips to his up to the sky in one powerful strike before it got absorbed in the air, they waited for another minute but nothing happened after that, the man looks at his female companion with an aggrieved look on his face.
"B-Big Sister, I failed you. I-I can't control my powers."- He said with a downcast mood on his face. The female companion only chuckled and held both his hands.
"You forgot to take off your gloves, dear little brother, and you forgot the most crucial part of it, Water."-She said that enlightened the male. They did everything from the start and released both their powers at the same time. The lightning strikes up to above the snowstorm before disappearing, the water and snow moving inside the snowstorm moving at the fastest speed it could ever move.
*Thunder rumbles*
They both watched as the thunder started to rumble and spread out within the hundred-mile radius. Soon the lightning started to strike the earth, creating a loud roar and the snow-storm started to clear to the mountain top. When they both saw a clear blue sky, they started to go back to their mansion on foot. They used "enhanced agility", "acceleration", "enhanced stamina", and "enhanced strength" to get back with ease to their mansion. They arrived in town within ten minutes, before they arrived at the doors of the mansion, both were blocked by a stern-looking woman dressed in deep blue robes of a mage. They both look at each other before looking back at the woman.
"Are you not gonna explain yourselves, Lady Elise Von Dutch and Lord Ashur Von Dutch?"- The woman asked with a raised brow while staring at them with a stern look still on her face. Elise sighed and slowly took her thick robe, fur gloves, and thick boots. Ashur did the same, copying his sister's action.
"Royal Mage Pearl, we simply tested our control over our water and lightning magic at the Death Star peak. I don't see anything wrong about it."- She said in a blunt tone and walk towards Pearl who only looks at her approaching form, Ashur walking next to Elise with his mouth shut.
"You do know that the Death Star peak is well-known for its century-long snowstorm, yet you two went there and-"- Pearl was lecturing them and turn to look at the northeast direction where the highest mountain peak was currently visible from miles away. Her blue eyes widened in shock as she saw the mountain peak shrouded with the rising sun! The snowstorm was nowhere in sight! The clear blue sky was in the background of the death star peak, very appealing, and vibrant.
"H-How did you two-?"- Pearl was left speechless as she gazed on the mountain peak. Elise and Ashur look at each other and shrugs. Ever since Ashur got supplementary lessons from Elise about the subject that was called "Science", he now looks at everything with a new perspective. They left Pearl there and went inside to pack their clothes. After seven years of training, they are now ready for their social debut and go to the prestigious academy back in the Geon Kingdom: The Flein Academy.
"Big Sister, shall we pay a visit to the Dragon Kingdom's Palace to thank the King for lending Miss Pearl to us for seven years?"- Ashur asked when they put their baggage into the living room. The servants were in the process of cleaning the mansion before they leave.
"Hmm, now that you told me that, I suppose we should do just that, Where's Miss Pearl? It's better if she sends the letter of visitation to the palace."- Elise said and created a swift letter that the head butler readily gave to her before they both look for Pearl whose still gazing at the Death Star Mountain peak outside.
"Miss Pearl, we would like to request from you to send this letter of visitation to the Palace to the Dragon King. We will thank the Dragon King and bid farewell as well."- Elise told Pearl and handed her the letter. Pearl blinked and look at them, before looking at the letter in her hands.
"You're going back now to the Geon Kingdom?"- She asked with a curious and unwilling gaze towards them. She doesn't want them to leave just yet because she needs to understand how they managed to clear that century-old snowstorm from the Death Star peak.
"Yes, we would like to spend some time with our parents before we debut and enter the Flein Academy next year in the Spring. Please send this letter to the Palace."- Elise said in a final tone before they turn around to go inside the mansion, leaving Pearl there staring at their backs. She could only sigh and went back to the Palace to give the letter to the Dragon King. King Dragonell read the letter before looking at Pearl.
"So were they the once who dispersed the snowstorm from the Death Star Peak?"- He asked her with a light tone on his voice. Pearl nodded her head and told the King about her eagerness to understand the method they used so that she can research and delve more on the trick they made earlier. King Dragonell thought for a bit before looking at the letter of visitation the two humans addressed to the palace.
"I will grant them access to the palace and dinner with the royal family before they leave. You can get the information you want before dinner."- King Dragonell said to Pearl who thank him and nodded eagerly. He watched as the Royal Mage Pearl left the throne room before he sighed, his secret aide was behind his large throne hiding in the dark.
"Will both the Prince and the Princess come back tonight?"- He asked his secret aide.
"Yes, Your highness."
"I see... this small dinner banquet will be a private one, prevent anyone from disturbing us."- He said and look at the large Death Star mountain from the large windows of the palace.
The day turn into night, the Von Dutch siblings arrived at the Dragon Kingdom's palace located at the highest peak of their kingdom. The siblings wore a simple but decent formal clothes to meet the King and eat dinner with him.
The Royal Mage Pearl and the Head of the Dragon Knights Alexandrite were escorting them to the King's private indoor garden. They silently look around the place before putting their focus on the older male that was sitting on the slightly large table of the indoor garden.
"Greetings to the Dragon King Lionel, we are honoured to be in your presence."- The siblings gave a standard noble greeting, waiting for the King to dismiss courtesy for them to finish the so-called dinner party and go back to their territory.
"At ease, Join me for a meal."- They heard the King's old and rough voice talking to them, they thanked him first before sitting to their respective seats.
Halfway through the dinner, the King started to ask about the method they used to clear the century-old snowstorm of the Death Star Peak. Elise calmly eat a small piece of steak before speaking to the King although her eyes are still gazing at her food.
"King Dragonell, do you seek the way to eliminate a natural disaster or are you trying to know our ways of dealing with our power?"- Elise asked with a calm tone before looking up to meet the eyes of the Dragon King.
'Do you think I will tell you the secret of "Science"? Dream on. There is a reason why the magic of this world is not advance and there is also a reason why I taught my little brother well.'- Elise thought with a calm gaze on her eyes.
"Human, you are very daring."- The Dragon King said in a gruff voice before scoffing. Yes, he is curious of the magic formulation she used to create such monstrous magic, however, since she is not willing to speak, why would he push it? Who knows what kind information will this little human leave that could be a ticking time bomb inside his territory.
"It is simply because I am mindful of my wisdom, humanity, and magic."- Elise said before resuming to eat her dinner. Ashur look at his big sister with a look of awe and worship in his eyes. No matter who she was talking to, whatever status, power, etc. they have, Ashur will never put his big sister anywhere else but the Top! Only the Top will fit his big sister who was like a beautiful goddess that descended the sky to be his family.
After that dinner, nothing much happened. They thank the Dragon King once again before leaving the Dragon Kingdom as soon as possible.

They travelled for three days straight and finally arrived at the Von Dutch terittory, however, the both of them were shocked. The head butler was only there with a few servants to tend the mansion, their parents were both in the Capital because of an urgent letter. Elise frowned at this and asked the head butler if there is a copy or the original of the letter was left in the territory.
"I'm sorry young miss, The Duke and Duchess said they will need it in the Capital, also they told us to look after the estate and territory why they are busy."- The Head butler reported to her. Her frown deepened as she look around the estate. There were few things that were not inside the mansion, and the gloriousness of the mansion seemed to dwindle away. The servants who were left here are ranging from mid-30-40s,and they seemed to be a bit thin.
Ashur felt something odd within the household as he looks at his big sister's frowning face. His heart was beating anxiously as he tried to look around one more time in the mansion's entrance.
"Head butler."- Elise called the head butler's attention who straightened up and salute at her with a nervous gaze.
"Have all of the servants present to come in the front hall, give me the finance log of the Von Dutch family as well as the servant's logs."- Elise said in a serious tone, the head butler tried to have a leeway but Elise's sharp ruby-red irises peirced through the old head butler.
"In this household, who is the Master?"- Elise's calm yet oppressive voice rung in the mansion's entrance. The Head butler gulped before nodding, turning to a nearby servant to help the young masters bring back their baggage upstairs and direct them to the Parlor.
"You have 15 minutes, if you're just a second late, I will give you an appropriate punishment."- Elise threatened the old man before walking towards the salon, Ashur look at the old man sweating before walking behind his big sister.
'Something must've happened while we are away... but how did our territory fell to such a state? Why is mother and father not here?I just noticed... its been a year since they exchanged letters. Something feels wrong... I feel slightly threatened.'- Elise thought before looking at the servants who were slowly filling up 1/4 of the spacious salon. they look nervous, guilty, and wary of them- or her alone. She didn't recognize any familiar faces from the last seven years. who were these servants? what happened to the other servants before? Where are their parents?
The head butler came inside the salon looking haggard and sweaty, Elise took the log books from him and opened the finance log of the estate.
Large values of gold and platinum left the treasury of the estate started from two years ago, as well as the dwindling numbers of precious items inside the estate. She took the other log book with a bit more urgency and look at the names of old and new personnel that was hired over the past seven years.
"What is the current situation in the Capital?"-Elise asked as she look at the head butler with a glare.
"Young miss, There was a level 3 danger zone that is located between the Geon Kingdom and the Fairy Kingdom since three years ago, they stated that there were low grade demons that were popping out from a fissure of the earth and has been trying to seal the gap till present times. Both kingdoms were trying hard to create a way to close the gap."- The head butler reported to her in haste. Elise frowned as she look at the open log books while deep in thought. Ashur look at his big sister with a worried look on his face.
"Send a swift letter to the Palace, the Von Dutch siblings has arrived in the Von Dutch territory and is requesting to pull back their parents from the front-lines."- Elise said in serious tone on her voice.
"B-but young miss! The Duke and Duchess were the core players for this operation!"
"Who cares? I want to pull them back. Who are you to ignore my orders!"- Elise' oppressive aura was released and suffocated everyone except her little brother.
"Y-Yes, please forgive my impudence! I will directly carry your message to the Capital!"- The head butler salute at once and run away in haste.
"Return to your duties, I want to have lunch at the balcony, prepare it within one hour, go."- Elise ordered and the servants all bow down and left the room in haste. She sighed and relaxed on the sofa before looking at her anxious little brother.
"Sorry for leaving you out earlier. It seems that the money of our family was directly used in the mission to defeat the low-grade demons. Ashur, I want to pull them back here and replace their position. Isn't that a wonderful idea?"- She asked with a smile on her lips. She watched as her little brother nodded eagerly and spoke out his thoughts.
"I will follow you big sister! with our prowess in magic and the knowledge of "Science" we will obliterate those pesky demons!"- Ashur said with an innocent smile on his smile.
'Hah... My little brother can spew some scary words with an innocent look on his face...' Elise nodded her head and told him to clean up first before meeting her back here to eat on the balcony.
"Years pass by like flowing water, I guess its time to see the bigger picture of this fantasy-type of world setting."- Elise mumbled before walking back to her room to change her clothes.
