"I'm okay." I think as I pull myself up,
Another day was to pass,
No matter the hurt and pain I feel
I will be fine, I always was.
I look up, into my own reflection
The mirror showing me the opposite
Of who I really am, on the inside,
Such a difference? It hit.
I'm fading, ain't I?
I wonder as I look at my hands in worry
They do look very fine to me,
But my reflection - it's blurry.
Maybe because of those tears
Swimming in my eyes?
But why? Ain't I perfectly fine,
my spirits on the rise?
Well, I do seem to be fading
A dull pain pounds in my body, might I go away?
Yet I shall never leave hope that someday after that,
I will reborn and be somebody.
