PERSEPHONE is described, in Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods, to be an incredibly beautiful young goddess with tender expression. Her eyes were sky blue like her father's and her hair was blond like her mother's. However in the winter, when she is down in the underworld, she is described to have dark and long hair, a deathly pale face and multicolored eyes that were washed out, as if the Underworld had sapped her life force.
