Genevieve's POV
It was time for Bella and Cullen's graduation party. I was at the Cullen house helping Alice and everyone decorates.
"Ugh! I can't reach this! Mom, you're tall. Can you put this up?"Alice asks me
She holding a hammer out for me. I was placing tablecloths on the tables when she asked. I smiled and walked over to her. I grabbed the hammer and got on the ladder as Alice held it. I placed the banner up and hammered it to the wall.
Once I finished, I got down. As I got down, I felt a hand on my waist making sure I didn't fall. I looked and it was Carlisle. Carlisle pulled me close to him and kissed my temple. Alice, Esme, and Rosalie walked over to us.
"Show us the ring. We didn't get to see it"Rosalie says
I laughed and held my hand out. Rosalie held my hand on top of her palm to expect it. Esme and Alice looked as well.
"It's beautiful. Where'd you get it?"Esme asks her brother
"It was mothers. She told me to give it to the one that I want to marry"Carlisle says
Carlisle looked at me and I smiled. The guys then walked over to us.
"Does Bella know?"Daniel asks
"No. Not yet. I will tell her when she gets here"I told him
"How do you think she will act?"Jasper asks
"I don't know. Before I and Carlisle became a couple, she was all for us to be married. Now that we are and after you guys had left, I don't know"I said
"How do you feel about Edward and Bella getting married?"Rosalie asks
"I am happy that she wants to be with him, but to become a vampire? I mean what about Charlie?"I asked
"We will figure it out," Carlisle says
"We should get ready," Esme says
"She's right. Let's go" I said
We all walked into separate rooms to get ready. Bella then arrived and we got ready together. I got changed into the beautiful, blue dress Alice got me.
(Is this blue or purple? I really don't know)
I turned to Bella and saw she was ready. I started doing my make-up when I heard a gasp. I turned to Bella to see if she was ok and saw her looking at my hand.
"You're engaged? Since when?"Bella asks
"A week ago, "I told her
"I'm so happy for you! Let me see!"Bella says running over
I held out my hand and showed her the ring. She gasped at the beauty of it. It was a silver ring with a bright, blue gem embedded into it.
"It's beautiful," Bella says
"It was Carlisle and Esme's, mothers. He said that his mom wanted him to give this to the one he wanted to marry. Of course, I said yes"I told her
"Have you told dad?"Bella asks
"I did yesterday. He told me to call Mom, but I really don't want to. I mean, she was always hanging out with you more than me. I understand that I'm not her biological kid, but at least try and hang out with me" I told her
"I didn't know mom did that. Now I understand why you and mom never got along"Bella says
"Yeah. She never really liked me. I bet she won't come to the wedding" I said fixing my eyeshadow
"We should head to the party. You look beautiful, by the way, "Bella tells me
"You too, "I said as she leaves the room
I walked over to the mirror and grabbed the necklace my mother gave me. I tried to put it on, but it wouldn't work. I felt hands grab them from me and fixed them for me. I knew it was Carlisle because I saw a blonde, short hair in the mirror. I moved my hair so he could clasp the necklace together.
Once he finished, I let my hair down and turned to him. He then grabs my hand in his.
"You look beautiful," Carlisle tells me
"Thank you. We should get going to the party"I told him
"Let's go, "Carlisle says
We headed downstairs to where the party was thrown. Bella was talking to Jacob, Embry, and Quil. Alice was up on the stairs near them. Carlisle wrapped his arm around my waist as we made our way to a balcony, away from the party. The whole family and the three werewolves arrived out here with us.
"What's going on?"I asked
"I had a vision, "Alice says

"They'll be here in four days," Alice says
Turns out a group of newborn vampires was coming here. Yay. Note the sarcasm.
"This could turn into a blood bath," Carlisle says wrapping his arm around me protectively
"Who's behind this?"Edward asks
"I didn't see anyone I recognized. Maybe one"Alice says
Then there was silence. I knew Edward was reading her mind to see if he knew anyone. He did.
"I know his face. He's local. Riley Biers. He didn't start this"Edward says
"Whoever did is staying out of action, "Alice says
"He must be playing with the blind spots of your visions," Carlisle tells her
"Either way, the army is coming and they're not enough of us to keep the town safe," Jasper says
"Hold up. What damn army?"Jacob asks
I slapped Jacob in the back of the head. He groaned in pain before looking at me with pain in his eyes.
"Ow! Why'd you do that?"Jacob asks me
"You're too young to be cursing like a sailor, "I told him rolling my eyes
"Newborns. Our kind"Carlisle tells him
"What are they after?"Embry asks
"They were passing around Bella and Mom's scent. A red blouse and a sundress"Alice says
I turned straight away to Alice. They're after me and Bella?
"Wait. They're after Bella and Gennie? What the hell does this mean?"Jacob asks
I slapped Jacob again. He moved and stood next to Quil.
"It means an ugly fight. With lives lost" Carlisle says moving over to me
Jacob looked at Quil and Embry. They nodded at each other. Jacob then turned back to us.
"Alright. We're in"Jacob tells us
"No. You'll get yourselves killed. No way"Bella says
"Yeah. I don't want to have to go to Tiffany, Old Quil, and Billy to say that their kid and grandson died"I said
"We'll be ok, Gen. We promise, "Embry says to me
I smiled at them. They were like my little brothers. I don't want to see them hurt.
"I wasn't asking for permission," Jacob says
I looked at Jacob and glared at him. He ignored my glance.
"Edward, "Bella says
"It means more protection for you and Mom," Edward says
"Jacob, do you think Sam will agree to an understanding?"Carlisle asks
"As long as we get to kill some vampires. Also, Sam and Gen are close friends. He would do anything to protect her. The pack loves having her around. If they all find out what is going on then no one would say no"Jacob tells him
"Jasper?"Carlisle asks
"They'll give us the numbers. Newborns won't even know they exist. Puts them on edge" Jasper says
"We need to coordinate, "Carlisle says looking at me
"Carlisle, they're all going to get hurt. Are you going to allow Viv to fight as well?"Bella asks
"We're all going to need some training. It's up to Gennie if she wants to fight or not. Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has. You're welcome to join us."Carlisle tells Jacob
"Right. Name the time and place" Jacob says
"Jake, you don't know what you are getting yourself into, "Bella tells him
"Bella, this is what we do. You should be happy. Look at us, working together. You are the one that wanted us to work together, right?"Jacob asks walking away
