ACT 1, SCENE 2
We see Booker pull up next to the semi-truck from the second movie in his truck, Buster. He stops by the cab and sighs as he steps out.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Oh, here we go.
Booker walks towards the front door of the house and knocks. A girl with ruffled hair opens the door, dazed. She looks at Booker and smiles. Booker raises an eyebrow at her and steps out of her way. The girl stumbles outside and Booker goes in.
ACT 1, SCENE 3
Inside, Booker walks through a messy house. He sees a bra lying on the couch and picks it up. The girl from before opens the door. Booker sees her and throws her the bra. She smiles and nods before leaving again.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Clem?
Booker walks down a hallway towards Clementine Snow's bedroom.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Clementine Snow?
Booker knocks on her slightly open bedroom door before pushing it open.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Clementine?
We see Clementine laying in bed covered head to toe by a blanket.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
No.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Come on, you don't even know what I'm going to say.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
I don't need to. Go away, Booker.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Now that's just rude.
Booker pulls the covers back from her head but sees her chest as well. He quickly covers her again as her eyes open. He takes a step back as Clementine jumps out of the bed covering herself with the blanket.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
You sonuva bitch, why the hell are you just gonna pull the covers back like that, you dumbass!
Booker reaches down and throws her a shirt.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Oh, calm your tits. Not like I haven't seen 'em before.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
Go to hell.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Been there, sweetie. Your mother says hi, by the way.
Clementine and Booker stare each other down for a moment. Clementine breaks first and laughs.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
Damn you.
Booker walks over and holds up the blanket as Clementine puts on the shirt.
BOOKER DARVILLE
So—
CLEMENTINE SNOW
No.
BOOKER DARVILLE
You still don't know what I'm gonna say.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
I don't need to. Anytime your family comes around it's nothing but trouble. Give me one good reason why I—
BOOKER DARVILLE
How about 180,000 reasons?
CLEMENTINE SNOW
180 sounds difficult... and illegal.
BOOKER DARVILLE
More or less.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
Shit, what is it?
BOOKER DARVILLE
We found my granddad's car. Someone is paying me to grab it and bring it back in 24 hours.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
Where is it?
BOOKER DARVILLE
Canton, Texas.
Clementine points towards the door.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
Get the hell outta my house.
Clementine starts pushing Booker out of her room.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Now, hold up. You don't have to do anything dangerous. All I need you to do is haul the car back to Atlanta, and I'll block just like my grandpa did for your grandpa.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
Yeah, bring a stolen car across five states. Seems legit.
Clementine continues to push Booker through her house until she has him by the front door.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Isn't there some way I can convince you to come with me?
CLEMENTINE SNOW
No, not really.
Booker hangs his head as he turns to the door in an overexaggerated motion.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Well, alright... I guess. I'll see you around, Snow Angel.
Clementine watches Booker leave. She rolls her eyes and shakes her head.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
God damn it. Booker!
Booker turns around smiling.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
How much time do we have?
Booker looks down at his watch.
BOOKER DARVILLE
23 hours and 42 minutes.
CLEMENTINE SNOW
You're lucky I love you, ya sonuva bitch.
BOOKER DARVILLE
Don't you mean Sonuva Bandit?
Clementine follows him outside and flips him off.
