"I like you a lot" she said
And my world stopped, I wanted to jump and scream, I wanted to dance and cry
The girl that I like like me back
And not just any girl

The genius, rich, Alexithymia patient girl liked me
And I felt special
I don't think my smile could get any bigger, I hugged her extremely close to me that I doubted that neither one of us was breathing
I pulled her back and got up still grinning like crazy, I lifted her by her waist and brought her face closer to me
"Say that again" I demanded
"I like you" she said without missing a beat and I laughed while twirling her around
"I like you to a lot, a lot" I said grinning at her and we inched closer together
I put her on her legs and cupped her lips and drew closer and closer
Our lips were inches apart and our breaths were tangled and when our lips was about to collide
Her phone rang
She pulled back and answered her phone quickly
I looked up and mumbled under my breath "God if you thought that I get enough kisses tonight please think again, amen"
I was pulled from my little prayer when I heard Cataleya's voice speaking on the phone " Mario I told you I am with Noah .... yes.. No ... but it's still early ... Mario.... Mario?" She looked at her phone then at me
"Why everyone is ending the Call in my face" she said and I laughed
Because it was the first time she sounded like a truly 24 year old

But still I like her with all her imperfections
I put my hand on her waist and drew her closer "what did he want?"
"He wanted me back now and said to tell you that if you touched me in an inappropriate way he has a gun" she said casually
Not caring that I paled
"Let's go before we test his statement" I said with an uncomfortable laugh
She nodded and we made our way inside the Car
We drove with a soft song in the background
"Sam wants to see you, he read about a new things about a new discovered planet or some shit and he wanted to share it with you" I told her not really remembering about the scientific thing Sam was ranting about
"Really I would be.." she opened her notebook for the first time tonight and continued "happy" I smiled at her and kissed the back of her hand that was intertwined with mine
And continued our journey with a comfortable silence
When I turned off the engine I climbed down and rounded the car so I could help her down
I guided her towards the door and was about to get my end of date kiss so I got my face closer and closer
But I think my prayer didn't reach God on time because the door opened and we jumped apart
An angry Mario came out of the door his glare intensify when he saw me
"Cata come here" he said sternly looking like a father who found his daughter doing the deed
"Mario what are you doin..." the innocent Cataleya didn't understand that if she didn't go to him now I will be having a meeting with God tonight
Maybe I will tel him why didn't he let me have one last kiss with my princess
"Princess just go to him" I said to Cataleya becoming paler and paler with every second because of that glare he was giving me
I don't think he need a gun his eyes are doing the Job
Cataleya clearly wasn't understanding his glare nor the tension around us
She came and gave me a kiss on the cheek
And she ..... left
I started fidgeting under his intensifying gaze
"What is your intention with my daughter" he said in a cold voice
Daughter?
So I was right he wanted her to call him Dad and look at him like a father figure
But didn't she?
"I really like her Mr.Romano my intentions are entirely pure" I said to him with a smile
He looked at me for a multiple seconds but it seems like ages "Cataleya isn't like everybody else she is special and...."
His eyes watered slightly but he blinked them immediately "and she went through a lot so if you even think about hurting her I will. Hurt. You" he said and his glare came again
"Cataleya told me everything sir, and if I one day hurt her I will come to you myself don't worry" he was surprised when I told him that she told me everything and what he said next surprised me
"Welcome to the family then my son" he smiled and entered the room
Leaving me with a jaw on the floor

"So why are we going there again?" I asked Cataleya the next day
We were heading to the hospital to meet the patient who accepted to take Cataleya's medicine
"I need her to sign a contract that she's in her full conscious and accepted that she take the medicine on her own will to be an experiment and after that I need to tell her about the medicine and how it will work on her body and all the other things..." she explained and I nodded
While turning off the engine as we arrived
We walked to the hospital door and we were greeted by a tall woman with brown straight hair and equal brown eyes wearing a doctor white coat
She was indeed beautiful
But my eyes could only see my princess
She smiled a warm smile at Cataleya and extended her hand
And I smiled happy that she wasn't looking at Cataleya with a wrong look when she saw her not responding to her smile
She got herself a bonus points
"I am Dr.Nadia, The FDA told me to assist you in your researches and help with everything I could you don't need to worry I am an oncologist and I wanted to say it's a great honour to know you" she said and her voice was sweet
I think she's my age
"I really appreciate your help I hope we can be a good team" Cataleya said making me know that she liked her
Because if not she will just nod her head
"Follow me" Nadia said in her cheerful voice making Cataleya look at her for a multiple seconds then at me and whispered in my ears
"Why does she have an abnormal dopamine level" she said making me sniffle a laugh
"It's just her personality let's just go princess" I said and put my hand on her back and we followed behind Nadia
We arrived at the familiar room and we walked in, the aged woman on the bed was still laying the same
But I noted the presence of a new sparkle in her eyes
And her husband was having a fresh look on him
And I smiled knowing that hope can do a lot to a person
The woman looked at me and smiled while saying a "thank you" I just nodded my head
And made my way out of the room with her husband as Cataleya and Nadia told us
"I don't your name son" the old man said with a smile "It's Noah, sir"
"I am chief David but you can call me just David" he smiled in which I returned
"I wanted to thank you for your words yesterday if it wasn't for you my wife wouldn't have accepted it, she just would have .... gave up " he said with a sad eyes looking at the window that show us his wife's room
His eyes were filled with love while they trailed his wife's movements
I moved my eyes from him to the window and if they were programmed they zeroed on my princess she was talking to the women while doing shapes in her hands
Catching the rooms attention with her presence and intelligence
I was so proud of her...
"You have that look on your face" David spoke up startling me.
"Sorry what look?" I asked him feeling confused
"The same look I have when I look at my wife Sofia" he said smiling knowingly
My eyes widened and my heart stopped beating
I shook my head aggressively making him chuckle at me "You are wrong David, I like her yes but love?.... it's too early"

I can't be in love with her it's.... I don't know
How should I even know what love is?
David laugh and said "there is no precise time to fall in love, there is just when you realise you already fell
When you find the right person everything else will vanish there will be no restriction no time, no age, no social status will matter anymore

He laughed a little and looked at his wife while I did the same to Cataleya
"When her presence make your heart beat faster, when you feel the need to spend every single second with her, when you put her needs before yours, when you always need to improve yourself just so she can be proud of you and you can feel even for one single second that you deserve her
If you wake up thinking about her and sleep still with her on your mind
When she becomes simply your world
Then you would have found the right person"
