He got quite a few strange stares as he walked back to the mafia , some even calling out to him as a freak. He rolled his eyes and kept going on his journey whilst keeping the bag close to him. He hoped that he would be the first person back seeing that his whole mission was so swift.
Soon he got back to the mafia , entering the building the staring stopped and turned into more looks of awe. Although not many people were out in the corridors , the few that were showed noises and actions of amusement.
Finally he reached the door into the arena , talking and music echoing from behind the door as he placed his palm against it and with a heavy force pushed the door open.
He walked into the light and shouts , keeping his cool until he was in the very centre with all eyes on him and he noticed that he was centre of attention which elated him with positivity and confidence as he unzipped his bag and pulled out the decapitated head of baek sunwoo which still leaked blood. The room went silent.
" I have completed my mission" he shouts and stares at the bunny sitting at the high table. Jimin stretched his arm before throwing the head through the air up towards the bunny. It landed with a clash on the table infront of Jungkook and taehyung , knocking over all the other papers and glasses that were on the table.
Blood seeped from the head and the glasses which had lined the table were now spilt and shattered on the ground. Taehyungs face contorted to a look of shock and for a split second it seemed as though V popped out because the males face turned into a smirk , sniggering out a laugh. Or maybe that was just taehyung... jimin was unsure at this point.
The white eyed male was also still high on adrenaline from his kill , blood soaking his sultry outfit but he didn't care enough. He more cared about the suffocating silence and overwhelming feeling of all the eyes in the room crawling over his body. Nethertheless it felt good to be the centre of attention... for a good reason this time.
" at your service ... mr jeon " he shouts before leaning forward and bowing his head for a breif moment as he turned to walk to the trainee area ... it seemed he wasn't the first to finish but he assumed that he had made the biggest impact since the room was still enshrouded in silence.
He was just turning on his feet when he heard the harsh clapping of a solo pair of hands. Who on earth could be clapping for him-
Of course it was him.. the bunny on his feet standing whilst clapping. It brought a bashful blush to jimins cheeks as soon the rest of the arena was clapping too and cheering his name. He was assured this was where he belonged. And with that thought settling in his heart , he took his place amongst the other trainees.
He had been passed some wet wipes to clean his face of the splattered blood however he opted to not to clean it off just yet. Although the thought of being covered in blood disgusted him , he wanted to go shower to get rid of the mess properly rather than risking smearing it further across his face. Not that he didn't already look a mess as it is.
It was only an hour or so until Arya joined him , she had been tasked to kill some informant gone rogue ... easy enough since she had brought the target back alive and killed her mercilessly infront of Jungkook. This mafia was a bit crazy and odd but jimin liked that , he fitted right in for once. Even if it was with a bunch of psychopathic murderers... lol.
Finally after another three long hours music ceased and the loud bell rang to indicate that this stage of the commit was over. Anyone late would be removed from the mafia and henceforth terminated... or something like that. Jimin thought it to be scary however at least he had gotten past the part which he believed to be the hardest. The next stage was a choice test .. would he choose the mafia or something of his own desires. Sounded easy enough.
He was about to get up and move to head out of the arena back to his room but paused when he saw someone barge through the door dragging a body along with them. " please! I've done what you asked! please let me be in the mafia!" The person begged , dropping to their knees in the centre of the arena.
Jungkook rose from his podium and walked out to meet the late returnee. " you should've just run away.." he said lowly , reaching into his jacket to pull out his matte black gun which had the initials JK inscribed in a golden colour on the side. " you know the rules... you can't be late."
" please! Give me another chance bunny .. I can prove my loyalty to you.. il do anything!" The male was practically screaming his words in a hoarse voice at this point. His hands needlessly grabbing onto the fabric of jungkooks trousers as he begged for any sort of mercy from the mafia leader.
But he was met with none. " you know , I hate begging but more than anything else I hate people who think they can break the rules of my mafia ". The bunny crouched down and raised his mask just so the person infront of him could see his face. " I'm sorry ... you should've escaped whilst you had a chance"
The sound of the gun firing echoed in the arena , aswell as the slap of his body hitting the cold hard ground. Jungkook pulled his mask back over his face and respectfully closed the eyes of the dead body.
He stood up straight and dusted off his clothes aswell as placing his gun away into his holster. " this marks the end of this round of the commit... by the end of this week we shall have our newest member initiated into our mafia , by blood bonded to serve the needs of our people and our people alone.. loyalty is something we treasure in this group , do not break it"
And with that the bunny turned on his heel , heading straight out of the large doors. The arena soon erupted into chaos , people shocked by the death of the late trainee aswell as people condemning it and cheering on the mafia leader. But amongst the loudness there was a shriek of pain as an already initiated member of the mafia watched their baby brothers corpse being dragged away and leaving a rather gory sight of blood paving the floor.
" jeon sure knows how to make enemies.." Arya murmured next to jimin , patting jimin on the back. " good work today ... now go shower ."
He watched as Arya's figure disappeared into the crowds along with the agonising noises of pain which almost drove jimin insane. It reminded him of the hospital , the constant screaming of other patients deemed 'special' was his daily soundtrack. He ran his hand through his hair and barged through the crowds to try and escape the humid climate of shouts and screams aswell as the loud music which he presumed would continue to blast for the majority of the night as mafia member partied to the sunrise , drunk on a mixture of alchohol , drugs and lust... the mafia life was definitely one to envy.
He groaned , finally in a corridor by himself with only the company of a full headache and the stench of sweat and blood on himself. He really needed to shower.
He found his way to his room and opened the door without any hesitation. First he grabbed some relaxing clothes from his bedroom before walking into his en-suite bathroom and instantly getting into the shower. He watched as the clear water turned red , washing away his sins from the exterior but his heart lay heavy... he had felt this guilt before when he had used his powers to accidentally murder someone but this time it was different, maybe baek sunwoo deserved that untimely fate.
Jimin picked up a body wash , scrubbing his skin raw until he was asssured the blood was gone and he was cleansed of his sins. He spent a good half a hour in the shower until he finally got out and securely wrapped the towel around his waist. Grabbing another towel to dry his hair before slipping into the chosen combo of jogging bottoms and a T-shirt.
" you did well today sweetie-"
Jimin about jumped out of his skin , turning to see Jungkook leaning against the doorway of the bathroom. " what the fuck.. how long have you been there?"
" long enough " he chuckled and reached to grab jimins hand and lead him through the dorm to the bed. " I'm tired let's cuddle"
Jimin nodded without a single complaint after all he was tired too. He noticed that Jungkook aswell had cleaned himself up and switched into a more comfy outfit. It wasn't too long before jimin was cuddled up in jungkooks chest with a blanket over the top of them.
" it's been a long day"
" you bet ... I had to sit in that damn arena for twelve whole hours .. I could've been doing other things ..." the leader huffed and nuzzled his face into the crook of jimins neck.
" well at least you didn't get covered in blood and tell the god damn receptionist that you're on your period " jimin deadpanned.
" that was your excuse?" Jungkook wheezed and tightened his grip on Jimins waist as he laughed along with the other.
" yeah , it was pretty stupid right .. of all the things I could've said "
" usually I go for the classic nosebleed excuse but you know .. period works too .. I'm sure he was shocked as could be"
" yeah .. he was pretty shocked although I think I'm more shocked at myself.. I killed someone today , again ... I decapitated baek sunwoo for goodness sakes... can you believe that..." Jimin said and waited a moment or two for a reply but was only answered with the soft sounds of snores and a heavy breath against his neck as the bunny was fast asleep in his arms , so innocent for a man whom had killed someone just under a hour ago.
