"Maybe later. You all need to get ready to break into Luthor Corp" said Lyla
"We're not going anywhere without Helena back on her feet." Thea demanded
"We need to retrieve those files from Luthor corp!" Lyla exclaimed in a very demanding tone
"Luthor corp is one of the most protected facilities we're gonna need all the man power we can get" Slade stated plainly
"Yeah, I mean the files aren't going anywhere." said Roy as he crossed his arms
"If it makes you feel any better I can track the files" said Curtis to relieve all the tension in the room
Lyla takes a deep breathe and says "Fine, but as soon as we have an opening I will call all of you."
It's now September 13, 2021 At the Waverider
We have Sara who is in the library examining footage of Ghost and Phantom as Ava walks into the room.
"Hey Sara we kind ofneed to talk." said Ava. who is clearly nervous
"Well this can't be any good" Sara stated followed by turning off the tv and directing her attention to Ava "What's got you so nervous?" Sara added
"It's about Mia. I think it's time she gets a more permanent residence." said Ava in a very timid tone
"You want to kick her out!" Sara exclaimed as she read right through Ava's body language
"What? No never. I mean that's crazy. Unless you agree with me which if so then it's not crazy" Ava stated with a lot of worry, clearly not wanting Sara to get mad
"Ava the poor girl is displaced from her time. I mean even now, she's still sad about it." said Sara. Clearly mad about Ava's statement. (as she said this Nate showed up with a bunch of papers )
"Sorry if I'm interrupting something but I got some bad news." said Nate in awkward tone not knowing if it was the right time to bring the topic up
"What is it?" Sara asked
"Well I got in contact with Mike the Time bureau lawyer and he told me that I'm knees deep in paper work." Said Nate as if It meant something
"What you didn't do your taxes?" Ava joked
"The point is, I have no other choice than to join the GTB." said Nate clearly panicked
"Nate, we need all hands on deck. You can't go work for the enemy. We don't even know when Kara is gonna snap." said Sara clearly not having any of this
"Well there is nothing you can do, by November 12 I will officially work for the GTB." said Nate. Who doesn't like where the situation is heading but a light bulb goes off in head and he says " We need team Arrow and Black lightning on this."
"Well Rene is the mayor of Star city but going against Supergirl would probably destroy his career." Sara stated
"She's right ever since the anti Supergirl shooting and the anti Supergirl protester crashed a Tesla into a bank, being anti Supergirl is simply political suicide" Ava pointed out
"Dinah and Laurel are gone with the wind. Diggle is in Metropolis which is on the other side of the country. Black lightning is also on the other side of the country and if Black lighting leaves Freeland. Tobias Whale would just take advantage of the situation. I mean we could call Curtis but we need firepower not brain power" Sara continued
"How about Roy, Thea and Rory?" Nate suggested
"You think we should get them involved?" Sara asked as the room got filled with silence "I mean you heard what Gideon said , Roy and Thea are fated to die and who knows how Rory goes out." Sara continued
"Well maybe an all out attack is what we need. I know the odds aren't in our favor but were legends we can change future ." Nate stated with optimism
"Fine. You go find Rory me and Ava will go recruit Roy and Thea." Sara stated with confidence
At Roy and Thea's cottage
Sara and Ava just arrived at the cottage in a Chevy 2021 Malibu.
"You sure this is the place?" Ava asked as they both approached the door of the cottage
"Well only one way to find out." said Sara followed by knocking on the door. A few seconds go by the door finally opens and we see Thea is absolutely shocked by the fact that Sara was at her door "Hey Sara.." Thea stated with a lot of worry
"Are you okay? It looks like you've seen a ghost." Sara asked as she was confused by Thea's whole demeanor
"Ghost! you know what never mind, come in" said Thea followed by all of them including Roy to gather around the living room
"So what brings you guys to Star City?" Roy asked who is also worried by the possibility that Sara and Ava found out about the whole Ghost and Phantom thing
"This" Ava stated plainly as she placed down a device that projected the newspaper that said "50 year anniversary of Supergirl's regime" the newspaper being dated to May 29, 2076.
Both Roy and Thea were relieved by the fact that Sara and Ava haven't figured them out. Thea then asked "What does this mean?"
"Kara is gonna try and create a tyrannical regime and take over earth. The lady in newspaper Lucy zor-el. Kara's daughter." Sara stated in a reluctant tone as she as second thought about telling Roy and Thea
"Wait let me get this straight. Doesn't that mean us talking about this now is changing the future?" Roy asked as he was putting all the dots together
"Yes this is the original timeline. Nate suggested we get everyone on board and plan something out." Ava explained
"Who else is on our side?" Thea asked in a saddened tone
"All the legends, Mia, Rory and hopefully you two." Sara answered
"That won't be enough this is Supergirl we're talking about. We need team Flash." said Thea
"That's the problem Barry is too close to Kara. We think he would be a liability" Ava explained
"Well we need to figure something out. I mean you can't beat Supergirl without some sort of firepower." Roy added
"Well if you two decide to join us. You know where to find us." said Sara followed by her and Ava leaving
Roy and Thea sat in complete silence as they realized the weight of the situation. They both knew being part of RTF was a big risk but they never thought it would go this far. Thea broke the silence by saying "We need to get those files today."
"Thea, are you sure?" Roy asked Thea in a soft tone
"Yeah. lets get the team" Thea stated with determination
At Kara's apartment
Kara hears a knock on the door and sees Alex on the other side of the door. She opens the door and lets Alex in.
"Sorry that I showed up so abruptly but I was wondering if you're having dinner with Barry?" Alex asked in a very forward fashion
"Why would I have dinner with Barry?" Kara asked as she was thrown off by Alex's question
"Why wouldn't we go to dinner with Barry?" Alex asked back
"We? Okay back this up please" Kara stated as she fixed her glasses
"Okay, Barry has invited team Supergirl to have dinner with team Flash at a really fancy restaurant in Central City." Alex explained as if Kara was five
"Ohh okay sure. When?" Kara asked
"Later tonight." Alex answered
It's now late at night and we have the whole RTF team geared up and on top of an opposing building to the Luthor corp building
"Alright can we go over this again?" Helena asked as she looked at the Luthor corp building
"Alright look, Slade will stay here with his M2010 sniper rife overlooking the building. Roy will shoot the zip line arrow then all four of us will get in, locate the basement where the main server room is and wait for Curtis to lift the file off the server" Thea explained followed by Roy shooting his zip line arrow followed by everyone zip lining down the zip line. When they got close to the glass, Slade shot at the glass making it shatter so everyone could get in by the time they all landed an alarm sounded.
"Slade wasn't joking when he called this place one of the most secure facilities" Helena stated as she pulled out both of her crossbows
"Let's start moving before security gets here" said Thea in a very serious tone followed by everyone following her
"According to these blueprints, we have to take a left down this hallway and at the third door to our right, there should be a secret elevator in that room that leads to the basement" Curtis explained as he looked at his tablet
"Slade what's our status?" Roy asked through the coms
Slade then used the thermal scope on his sniper rifles and said " Two guards are about to arrive at your floor"
As they spot the door with the secret elevator two guards show up with hand guns. One of the guards shouts "Stop right there." only to have Roy shoot the guy on the left as Helena shot the guy on the right. After this all four of them cleared the room and found the secret elevator and entered it. The problem is the minute all four of them got on that elevator Lex (who was working late at his office) got a notification on his computer the said "Secret elevator has been accessed.
At Central City
Kara just finished super speeding Lena to the parking lot of the fancy restaurant so we now have Kara ,Alex, J'onn and Lena with all of them wearing decently formal clothes.
"Wow Kara when you said we were going to a fancy restaurant I definitely wasn't expecting Urasawa" Lena stated in awe as she admired the restaurant
"Well you know it's a good restaurant when you can't pronounce restaurant's name" J'onn added
"Oh no this isn't a good restaurant this is literally Central city's finest!" Lena explained as they got to the entrance of the restaurant and spotted Barry ,Iris ,Cisco ,Camilla ,Caitlin and Ralph. Everyone quickly split into separate groups.
"Hey Barry! This is Lena. You know, the friend I always talk about." said Kara in a really giddy voice since she was really excited about her two best friends meeting
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Barry, though I assume that's not your real name" Lena stated as she shook Barry's hand
"No it is not. My real name is Bartholomew but no one calls me that for obvious reason" Barry stated with a smile on his face "Oh and this is my wife Iris." Barry added. In reaction to this Lena shook her hand and said "I was very impressed by how you were able to expose the Black hole organization." Iris simply smiled and answered with "Well I do my best." Lena then spotted Caitlin and then rushed over to her and exclaimed " You're Dr. Snow!"
Caitlin was surprised by the fact that someone as big as Lena Luthor would even now who she is. She then responds with "Yeah that's me. Why do you asked?"
"Well Luthor Corp is in need of bio engineers like yourself. I mean you've worked at Star labs and even Mercury labs." said Lena
"Are you offering me a job? Because if so I'm not in need of one." Caitlin replied
"Well the night is still young" Lena replied
Back at Luthor Corp
The elevator door opens and they walk out of the elevator into a very advanced looking lab with a bunch of prototypes all over.
"This is a pretty big lab." Roy stated in a very impressed tone
"Lets split up to cover more ground." Thea stated in a very serious manner followed by everyone splitting up. While they are searching through the lab two guards arrived at Lex's office with one of them saying "Sir the cameras are down." Lex analyzed the situation and then said "Call the NCPD S.W.A.T team and tell to go check the lab" after this he got on his computer and started working on getting the cameras back on. As this was happening Slade was watching and then told his team through the coms "You might want to hurry up and get those files. It seems that the bald guy is on to us" Curtis was instantly worried by this fact so he asked "what is he doing?" Slade took a second and zoomed in with his sniper scope and then said "My best guess is he's trying to get the cameras back online" As Roy was looking around for the server room he decide to comment by saying "I'm guessing it won't take long for a guy like Lex to get through your encryption."
"Well actually I just upgraded Fecility's old code but, yes. My best guess is we have two minutes" Curtis answered as he activated two T-Spheres to look for the server room. Slade was getting rather impatient so he suggested "How about I snipe him out and gives us all the time in the world" followed by cocking his gun and aim it at Lex's window. Curtis started freaking out and said "You can't just kill Lex Luthor and get away with it!" Slade just casually answered back with "That's what people thought about JFK."
Curtis was ready to answer but back was interrupted by Helena who stated through the coms "Boys calm down I found the server room". Curtis felt relieved by Helena's statement so he asked "Great where are you?" Helena just made a awkward facial expression and answered with "Yeah. That is the issue I'm at the other side of the lab". While Helena was talking Thea thought she heard footsteps so she signaled to Curtis to run to Helena's location. Followed by her and Roy drawing back their bows and point them towards the front door of the lab. They both heard the footsteps get closer followed by a S.W.A.T breaking down the door. Before the S.W.A.T team could say or do anything Roy and Thea quickly aimed their arrows at ground and detonated them causing the S.W.A.T team to fall back. While Roy and Thea held off the NCPD Curtis arrives at the server. He connected his tablet to the server. Meanwhile that was happening Slade noticed that some cameras were back online. He shot a bullet that purposely missed Lex and hit his laptop (Completely destroying it) Lex then ducked under his desk and shouted "Hey idiot you missed!". Slade oblivious didn't hear Lex's remark but he did cock the rifle again followed by shooting Lex in the thigh. Slade then got up and cut the zip line that team used so the cops wouldn't know where the sniper was located. He then told the team threw the coms "You guys need to evacuate the building!". Helena was the only one who could responded since everyone else was busy "Why? What happened?" Helena asked
"I shot Lex and and I just spotted a NCPD helicopter. It's only a matter of time until the cops see the shattered window." said Slade as he got into the getaway vehicle. Roy quickly pushed the front door of the lab shut and locked it. To buy them some time. Thea was really mad by Slade's statement since she wasn't out here to kill people so she scream "He's not dead? Right!". Slade responded in a calm voice since he wasn't scared of Thea "Don't worry Red riding hood , I just him in the leg. He'll live." Thea just brushed off Slade's comment and asked Curtis through the coms "Did you get the file?" Curtis disconnect his tablet from the server and said "Yes. In fact I got two files. I don't know why the other file just seemed suspicious." Thea just wanted to finish the mission so she lead the team to the elevator but strangely Roy hit the button to the button to the 16th floor instead of the top floor.
"What are you doing?" Thea asked in slightly annoyed fashion
as they arrived at the floor Roy gives Thea an arrow as he tells her "We don't need to go to the top floor, just a high enough floor" followed by punching a window open and telling Curtis to hold on to him. Afterwards they both jumped off and used a parachute arrow to escape. Thea then looked at her arrow and told herself "A freaking parachute arrow. The kid is crazy than I am." She and Helena then used it and made their grand escape.
Back with team Flash & Supergirl
We have both teams just having a good time around a dinner table. Right now we have Ralph telling a story "So this one time me and Barry were went to jitters. I paid for it, obliviously. Then the craziest thing happen."
"Really what happened?" Lena asked with intrigue
"This guy showed up and pulled a gun on us. I mean you should've seen Barry's face. I mean the guy was about cry I swear." Ralph was saying in his usually silly attitude only to be interrupted be Barry who said "Oh please I wasn't cared. I mean if anything you were scared" Ralph just replied by saying "Calm down Barry. We don't have to change the details of the story." Barry was about to respond only to be interrupted by Kara who commented in a jokingly compassionate voice "It's okay Barry. We get it you were scared and you know what. That is fine this is a judgement free zone" Barry was left absolutely speechless by Kara's comment allowing Ralph to continue telling his story "So anyways the guy put the gun to Barry's head and took advantage of the situation and punched him in the face"
"Really what happened after that?" Alex asked sarcastically
"I'm glad you asked. You see I hit him so hard the guy needed to be rushed to the hospital and ever since that moment Barry swore to never fear another mugger" said Ralph
"So moral of the story Barry aspires to be you?" J'onn commented in joking fashion
"You know I like to leave my stories up to interpretation, so you do you J'onn" said Ralph
The waiter came and gave Kara the check. She then looks in absolute "Oh my Rao!" Lena in reaction to Kara's reaction leans over to see the check and says "That's a pretty penny." Barry then takes the check from Kara's hands. He looks at it and says "Hey Ralph wanna split the check?" Ralph just laughs a bit a says " You know I'm also paying for the muggers medical bills so how about you pay." Barry then puts the check down and reaches for his wallet. In the meantime Lena asks " You know it's fine if I pay for." Barry takes out his credit card and puts it in the check book and gives it to the waiter as he did this he said "No it's fine. My city my check." Lena then replies with "Well maybe next time you guys can visit National city's finest". Iris smile and says "That would be great." Afterwards a tv in the restaurant started playing channel 52 with a news reporter saying " We are getting reports from our sources that there was a an assassination attempt on Lex Luthor. This has reportedly happened minutes ago. The NCPD has reportedly already sent a S.W.A.T team to clear the building." Lena simply smiled and said "Well today has gotten better and better." (Lena still hates Lex in my story).
with the RTF team
We have the team driving a black van down the highway. We have Slade driving, Roy in the passenger seat and Thea, Helena and Curtis are in the back of the van.
"Are you done?" Helena asked Curtis in very impatient tone
"Give me second" Curtis stated has he did something on the laptop "It seems these files where encrypted by some sort of freelance hacker" Curtis added
"How do you know that?" Thea asked with curiosity
"I took the data log from the Tesla that crashed into bank and it seems to have a similar code." Curtis answered while keeping his eyes on his laptop
"Supergirl possibly hired a shooter and a hacker" Thea told herself followed by taking a deep breath. "Great" Thea added in a sarcastic tone
"Do we at least know what is in the files" Helena asked.
"It's a tight encryption but I just got the labels of the files." Curtis stated in a happier tone
"And the titles are?" Thea asked
"Well the files I took from the computer is called 'RFG'" Curtis answered
"Wow ominous." Helena stated sarcastically
"Anyways the one Lyla wanted us to get is called Scar." Curtis stated
"Lets gets this Lyla but between us, how long until these files are decrypted?" Thea asked
"I'm really busy now a days so it will take me a while but when it's done I'll tell you" Curtis affirmed
At the Waverider
It's late at night and Mia was about to go to sleep but before falling a sleep she got up and grab her batarang from her night stand. She felt mixed emotion as she looked at the batarang. She was sad knowing all her friends were gone but smiled at the thought of all her adventures with William ,Laurel ,Dinah ,Tim and Billy. Most importantly she remembered how they stopped the RFG.
