Chapter Seven- Isaac
Issac's POV
The second I saw him I knew something was off. I couldn't quite place it, but I just knew that something was wrong.
The way he'd flinch whenever he'd get close to someone, or how he'd space out about every 5 minutes. When I was giving him the tour, his mother didn't seem to notice, so I assumed it was normal.
But then at breakfast, I couldn't help but notice the flash of pain in his eyes when Gray had gotten too close. The guys had all sat down, so he was pretty much sandwiched between people. I saw his panic, then he went back into his head.
Should I ask him about it? No. What if it's just random, like a reflex or something? But what if he's scared of crowds, like he has a phobia or something? Isn't it rude to assume, though? Maybe I should just let him come to me first. Pshh, screw it, I'll ask him Ashton about him. He is his roomy.

"Hey, Ashy." I called to hi from behind.
"First, don't call me that. Second, what?" He said, the familiar look of disinterest in his eyes.
"So, I don't know if I'm just being a psycho or not, but does something seem off about Jayden?"
"Well, he seems pretty smart, but he dozes off a lot. Oh, also I heard him having a nightmare last night if that means anything." He said honestly.
"Oh, okay. I want you to watch him closely, okay? I wanna figure out what's up."
"Oh right I forgot!" Ashton perked up, remembering, "When I asked him why he transferred, he got really uncomfortable and closed off. Maybe it has something to with school." He explained.
"That's a good idea. I want to be sure though, and not jump to conclusions. Just keep an eye out and come talk to me before lunch okay?" I asked, to which he nodded, heading on his way to his 1st period.
Based off what Ashton said, maybe he's scared of something at school. He could've been bullied, maybe, but he also just be embarrassed or sensitive about being expelled or kicked out. Ugh, I'm too curious for my own good. This isn't even my buisness...
