Chapter three: Unleashed Feelings

SCHOOL HAS STARTED and Lacie was sitting next to jane, while Mr Phillips has his back turned towards everyone as he was writing a problem on the board Jane nudged lacie as she oiffed annoyed
"What is it?" Whispered Lacie not taking her eyes off of her slate Jane pointed towards billy, apparently billy was admiring Lacie
"I think billy likes you!" Said Jane as she smiled but whispered the last part as she squealed making Lacie cover her ears
"Jane stop before you get us both in trouble," said Lacie as Lacie said that mr Phillips turned around
"Jane... Lacie... is there anything you would like to share with the class?" Asked Mr Phillips
Both friends smiled and shook there head motioning no mr Phillips nodded and rolled his eyes
"And please no more disruptions unless you want a punishment!" Said Mr Phillips in a stern voice
Everyone went back to what they were doing until a chalk hit the ground making the chalk land with a loud thud making everyone look at Gilbert
Jane leaned over to Lacie as she looked at scenery
"I thought we told Anne that ruby had dibs on Gilbert?" Asked Jane Lacie shrugged her shoulders she thought this dibs thing was getting out of hand
"Carrots,"
"I'm not talking to you!" Said Anne as she hit Gilbert Blythe with a slate which was broken in her hands making Anne look down at her slate
"ANNE SHIRLEY! BLACKBOARD NOW!" Said mr Phillips as his voice boomed through the whole classroom making Lacie jump Making a thin line on her lips while Jane was trying not to laugh which made Lacie nudge the girl
Authors note: I know I'm just now editing this pharagraph after almost 2 years but since everyone is offended that is spelled annes name wrong then I fixed it
"Is this what they taught you in that orphanage? That behavior will not be tolerated," said mr Phillips as he picked up his chalk writing the words Anne Shirley has a very bad temper "and the rest of you PIPE DOWN!"
At that point Lacie felt sorry for the red headed girl she looked over at billy who tried to hold in a laugh as well While looking at moody
The girl stood there as she tried not to lose her temper so instead she kept walking while mr Phillips was yelling for her to come back
"Where do you think your going?!" "Get back here!" Said mr Phillips as Anne kept walking when she got to the door she grabbed her coat and hat and ran out the door making everyone look backwards towards the door

It was after school and Jane and Lacie was walking home together with there arms linked with each other
"I can't believe anne did that, it was bold but very rude!" Said Jane "and mother said that you should respect your teachers,"
"To be honest I don't blame Anne doing that if I was in her shoes I would," said Lacie Jane scoffed
"Lacie Salem I don't know why you keep defending the girl she's bad news you heard both of our mothers,"
"Still That doesn't give me the reason to be rude to her! She is still a human being," said Lacie as she threw her hands in the air frustrated "I'm going to get some fresh air see ya tomorrow," said Lacie as she left walking towards the other path
As Lacie was was walking down the path she saw a log and sat on it as she sat on the log she puffed her lips sighing heavily,
"Stupid etiquette," said Lacie "I can't take it anymore!" Said Lacie as she kicked a rock that was in front of her
"Lacie?" Asked a voice, lacie looked to her right and saw billy standing there
"Oh it just you Andrews, what do you want?" Asked Lacie as she crossed her arms looking towards her left
"Your still mad about the whole no speaking to anne thing aren't you?" Asked billy "let me tell you you'll feel better about the whole thing," said billy as he patted Lacie on the head
"Leave me alone," said Lacie as she shook her head to get Billy's hand off of it "I'm not in the mood,"
"But I'm your best friend now tell me what's bothering you?" Said billy as he sat next to lacie, she sighed knowing that he's not leaving till
"I'm tired of being treated so proper, don't do this don't do that! I'm sick and tired of the whole thing!" Said lacie as she placed her face in her hands
Billy sighed not knowing what to do so instead of saying anything he slung his arm around the girls shoulder
"You do know that your parents just want what's best for you you know that right?" Asked billy
Lacie pulled her face out of her hand as she sighed
"Maybe your right, it's just I don't want to be rude to Anne but I have no other choice," said Lacie
"Lacie what makes you want to be friends with that orphan?" Asked billy "tell me what is so amusing about that girl that makes you want to be her friend?!"
"It's her past billy! Who knows what the girls been through," said Lacie
"Lacie Lacie Lacie, always seeing the good in people that's what I like about you," said billy as he smiled
"Well this is a new side I've never seen before, what's going on you've been acting strange ever since Anne has arrived,"
Billy sighed as he grabbed a hold of Lacies hand
"Lacie Salem, what would you do if I told you that I had feelings for you?" Asked billy
"I would say... it's about time!" Laughed Lacie as she slapped billy on the arm making him rub the pained area
"What do you mean? I thought you didn't like me,"
"I have mixed feelings about you but I love how you told me your feelings," said Lacie "I always knew you can change Billy Andrews and you can,"
"Yea but it's hard," said billy Lacie smiled
"Just try it, you might like being nice then being a jerk," said Lacie "well I'm going home before my mother thinks that I've been kidnapped," said Lacie as she walked away
"Wait-" said billy "would you mind... if I walked you home? How since it's getting late?"
Lacie smiled
"I'll love that," said Lacie as she smiled wide

Hopefully that was good if it was give it a vote and I'll write later, and I was thinking about adding someone in for Lacie because I kinda don't want to put billy and Lacie together just yet, but idk
Anyway enough of me talking bye!
